Ibadan rulers were wearing crown before the time of Maye when the crown was torn into shread by his daughter hence Ibadans were called " Omo Fadeya" (The descendants of those who tore the crown). It was only restored in OBA Adebimple tenure that you referred to. It was not Ibadan first crown.
