She can contact the airline company or agency she used to change the dates of her flights, but that will come with an additional cost.

To stay on the safer side, she can put a much later date because of UKVI protocol

First, you need to check if the ticket is refundable, because some tickets are not. Either you use it or you lose it.

If you confirm that the ticket is refundable, then you can wait until Thursday next week to see if you will get a pickup notice from TLS; if not, then you can go ahead and cancel it.

But make sure you confirm to know if the ticket can be refunded or not.

Pls, my friend was issued an expired visa and has returned back d passport n send a paid mail since on d 15th of December 2022...

Dey replied on 16th December apologized n stated dat d error wil b corrected within 15 working days....
I was surprised wen she calld me yesterday dat she hasn't gotten a respond frm ukvi since December till now...
She has sent another paid mail again on Monday another respond of getting back to her within 15 working days again....
She has planned her trip for next weekend.

Goodmorning house, I noticed Ethiopian airline has the cheapest prices on their app but payment through our cards keeps saying error.
And secondly is there a way to view the ticket prices in other currencies should one want to ask someone abroad to pay.

Any thing is possible with ukvi..... we have seen it happen many times.....

U might not beleive but Nigerian immigration service is more organized that UKVI....

Just lodge complain... somebody has forgotten ur paste sticker ur passport

In the few months that have passed, we have seen more refusals here than approvals. This is just a small amount, there are many others unsaid.
We do not hear anything after.
UK is doing Nigerians strong thing.

We hope it gets better.

please I want to ask if it takes time to get collection mail and if it takes time to move to VAC after days of receiving BRP.

I have been waiting for collection mail so I can travel with my husband, my BRP has been sent since.

In December, i had a post extract here from Rishi Sunak's meetings in the house.
Part of what i proposed was to tell people to take it easy on Uk visitors visa.
The department is controlled by Asians and Red Indians.
What would anyone expect? They are already implementing their iron hand on immigrants by blocking the number of visits.

Above all, my personal opinion about a system and how it works, stays with me.
If you are ok with continous re trails, because i see some post about people saying they want to reapply immediately,
do it with caution. Alot of resources come into play in all of these processes.

Alright. so i am not going to be diverting any one to schengen visa applications because the thread remains a strictly UK thread.. but has anyone heard of lithuania business Type D visa?
Seems like some headway.

How how will someone gain entry into their site without the email.

I am of the opinion that perfect applications do not guarantee visa stamps or approvals.
I am also of the opinion that alot of these embassies have a quota for tourist visas - they work with it.

Truth be told, alot of them understand the desperacy amongst Africans to travel out(in search of greener pastures) so people do really find various vices.
They understand the application process, they are psychologist.
Someone once asked here, if it was possible to 'japa' with a tourist visa - Imagine.
It is not the same psyche.
Eco-s are overwhelemed too.
You need to be in the system to know how these things work.
Alot of things coming to play.

Let me play you a scene, i read alot here, and i see feedbacks. Few weeks ago, a particular lady who has been to the Uk 4 times or more, got a refusal. someone who goes and come back - not a case of japa.
Tell me - Do you want to say the applicant is a novice or the application was not perfect?

Just be thankful if you get your approval, it is not by the perfection, the applicant was just favored.

As for student visa, You and I know alot about how that one is done

As regards Passport return, you may have to keep checking your mails or sms.
You are not advised to visit TLS unless told to do so.
However, if you do not get a feedback in coming days,
