Chynx: The cost varies from brand to brand and again is a function of rim size. I got my Bridgestone (Japan) rim 16 tyres in 2011 for 26k each (104k in total).

If uve got d pay, settle for original Michelin or Bridgestone (Japan). You will never regret it.

The date of the manufacture is important for the buyer to determine its expiry date, which is normally four or five years depending on the brand. The manufacturing date is represented by four figures on the side wall of the tyre. The first two digits indicate the week of the year while the last two digits stand for the year. Tread wear number indicates the tyre’s wear rate. The higher the tread wear number is, the longer it should take for the tread to wear down. For example, a tyre graded 400 should last twice longer than a tyre graded 200. The temperature resistance, which is represented by letters “A,” “B “or “C,”indicates a tyre’s resistance to heat. Letter “A” is suitable for hot climate. Letter “B’ is meant for normal weather areas and while “C” is for cold areas. M+S is used to indicate that a tyre is suitable for mud and snowy terrains. It is popular in Nigeria and the SON said that it is appropriate for the Nigerian roads.

cell22: i had same experience ,my Nissan maxima would just stop in the middle of the road,i would march the trottle rather moving it would slow down ,becomes hard and seems hanging before it would finally stop,God saved me the last time in the middle of the express,i was advised to buy another ECU,(BRAIN BOX)Which i did ,programmer did start it trottle refused to fire,the programmer off it,started it again the rest is story ,it does not even start

chikasin4: Wat is d milage of ur car, because engin oil depends kn d it. Mobile 1 is too expensive, dey sell it N7380 here in Enugu, but i will advice u to go for mobile 1000 20w-50. It is ok. I do change it evry 1000 miles or 2months on my toyota sienna 200 model with 170000 miles on it it cost N3200. Mobile one is too light, it is syntetic oil, it can cause d seals to lickage since our weather is hot.

linktel: Thank God for this thread,i have a nissan altima 2001 model,and i mst say i got it from a friend,but i havent enjoyed the car for a full month,its either at a rewire or a mechanics place..the issues just keeps appearing once u fix one...av abandoned it at a mechanic's place when i was told that the injector needs to be serviced....am fed up..pls anyone with a competent mechanic/rewire for nissan dat can fix all the electrical issues and injector issues...pls drop ur contact here..
