Don't rule out United. They are building something too.
I'll be extremely surprised if Man u mount a title challenge. I still feel they're well poised for Top 4.

If they get a striker and a very good wingers, then I would consider them

I am just surprised you guys are just seeing what Roland and I have been saying
No he say we hate am we just want change
Facts that you guys said so but I understand during the beginning If he felt he doesn't want to use academy especially when he wanted to stabilise arsenal.

But now that arsenal is stable, it's frustrating to see that he still ignores the academy. This is the perfect time to be giving Duberry (or any other academy player) a chance

I no go lie chief, you get point about Pep. However, their midfield may not be the same again. Even their attack is weak now going by the depth. I wouldn't conclude yet sha because window never close.

Midfield

Rodri

Calvin

Benardo

Kovacic

KDB

Who else again?

Attack

Haaland

Grealish

Foden

Alvarez

Who else?
You're underrating Pep sha.

Pep will sign players and even if he doesn't, he'll still use these places effectively while bringing in young players from the academy.

That's how they were saying he'll miss David Silva until he unleashed Foden.

One thing is certain, Man city can never be weaker with Pep at the helm

What i know is with our current defense we can play 4 man defense and 5 man defense comfortably
Same with the midfield
I am saying this because arteta doesn't have excuse
The good thing about this transfer is we are getting our first choice not second
I'll really be disappointed if we don't compete to carry the league this season. I'm expecting a 3 way battle with us, Man city and Liverpool to compete for the league. Also, we need to carry a cup

For all of Arteta's progress, it's disappointing that he doesn't give our youth a chance. In fact, none of our academy can say they're making the squad through him.

There's no reason why Duberry shouldn't make the team last night. It's really really disappointing

To think na you dey calm us down when we signed Jorginho. grin grin

Relax, Kai will come good. I'll gladly swallow my L if the reverse happens.
I hope and pray Kai comes good.

It was easier to defend Jorg cos if you look beyond Chelsea fans complain and watch him without the lens of Chelsea fans, you'll see that he's not really a bad player the way they made him out to be. I knew how many times I drew their attention to some of them esp Ibi.me and Popi concerning the good games he played (Like I personally watched Jorg in Chelsea just to see why he's been scapegoated for all losses) and they'll give one excuse or the other. The most prevalent was that he normally plays good against small team which in a broader sense it isn't bad at all(except na agenda). That's why even though I was angry we signed him at first, I later calm down to analyse things and found out that he won't be bad as a deputy since we'll be meeting most small teams and it's also a short term contract

I did same thing for Havertz but it was the opposite. He hardly impressed me in a match and his overall play was very poor. I personally look at overall play to judge a player and not team's result. Havertz is always found wanting in the overall play and the number of good- to-outstanding performance can be counted in one hand.

I've read all the comments here and aside the goal he scored, nobody seemed to even review Havertz performance. Even newboy Timber don dey get review.

From the video I watched on MLS page, Kai only played two volleys. The one he played with the left, keeper save am. The other which he played with his right went just a little wide.
The video you watched is a shortened version then. Kai played at least 10 if I'm not mistaken or if I'm being conservative and only two were on target.

Omorr, that thing dey fear me abeg embarassed

Marquinhos is a no no for me, still needs loan deal or better still u21 play time. Duberry is left footed and a better baller and if given play time can develop rapidly cus he has the composure and agility for EPL. And I truely have not given up on Nelson, Nketiah can still operate from the right wings too.
Well, I just hope to see more of Duberry this season and I pray that Arteta gives him that chance. At least, make I see wetin Una dey see

Guys let's be honest, which department in our squid do we still need reinforcement?, Or is this squid now ok for title challenge if they all try and stay fit without injuries. undecided
I hear some rumors about Kudus
I've always maintained my stand. We need a Saka Left footed deputy. I don't trust any right footer on that wing, I certainly don't trust Marquinhos as well as Havertz.

Is Duberry a left footed player and will he be a deputy. Maybe I would love if he can be given the opportunity.

But If we get a Kudus this season, then I'll Judge our transfer window 10/10

Lol, Blue.mann is the least person you can accuse of bad belle though.

But that's not even the issue here. The big issue is that Havertz couldn't find the back of the net after so many attempts in the cross and volley challenge. Omorr, if you've watched any clip or video on that, it's very very ridiculous to think that Havertz couldn't find the net at least once with any of his attempts. I believe even you would hit a target if given that (na wetin most of us dey even do for street ball) how much more a professional like Havertz. You are taking about maturity. That is another big part. Some people will only mature by 25-27 and by that time it is too late. Some will never mature.

Then some people’s domestic life and mental health for instance is so terrible they get derailed.
A case like Ravel Morrison. When I watched him in the academy he was better than Pogba IMO while Lingard was not even in the same planet with those two.
Ferguson told the 1st team that he was the best youth player since Giggs. Rooney wrote an article saying the guy was miles better than Pogba. Rio said he was the best youth player he had ever seen.
Sadly, the guy could not even make it in the premier league while Lingard who could not shine his shoes became an England international and Pogba who was probably slightly less talented became a superstar.
I've read alot about Ravel Morrison.
The hype about the potential was so great in the academy. It's just so sad to see him never to make it through the academy because of his indiscipline and arrogance

Sancho and Nelson grew up together but because of the way age football is structured they rarely played in the same age group for England.

Nelson was probably the best in his set but it was not a loaded set. Sancho was probably the best in a loaded set with Foden, Hudson-Odoi, Angel Gomes, Smith-Rowe, Connor Gallagher, Gibbs-White.

Who was better between the 2 of them is subjective but in my opinion Sancho was.

P.S IMO speed and acceleration are the 2 things CHO and Nelson had more than Sancho, in terms of ball manipulation, decision making and ball sense i think he (Sancho) was clear. The one that injury really wrecked was CHO. That Achelles tendon rupture totally changed the trajectory of his career and it is a known career finsher.
Nice. Thanks a lot.
I really wanted to even tag you to hear your opinion on it but it skipped my memory.

personally I think nelson get better ball sense than Sancho, Sancho was opportune to get enough play time and exposure with the Dortmund team and deep down y'all know you can't compare German league to EPL, but then nelson once had a spell there too but na injury kill am. That boy na baller, he just need coach and follow players confidence and enough game time with less injury to move mountains.

Ps= this is my personal opinion.
Nice input. Truly appreciated.

I never really thought Nelson was that talented in academy ooo. In fact, I find it absurd when people compare him to Saka in terms of talent.

Just what Kvara played last season alone dwarfs whatever Havertz has been playing in England for the last 3 seasons . I’m yet to see anything Havertz has done in England thus far to even attract how much we spent on him.

But he’s already our player sha , so let’s just hope that invisible potential finally materialize at arsenal
The bolded is facts.

The issue is, I still don't know where he'll fit in at arsenal cos all these Left sided 8 wey dem say him sabi play no dey convince me.

Fingers crossed that he performs well sha. I just really hope he does.
