It's not hasty conclusion. Onana has always been suffering from not staying in his box, it will get worse now that he's playing in the premiership that is a very competitive league.

I'm not saying he's not going to excel in other goalkeeping duties like making crucial saves, keeping free kicks out, being a good ball distributor, etc.... But he will suffer if he continues to stay out of his line
Well, fair enough.
We'll wait and see though

That Onana will cost Man utd points this season. Premiership is a wrong place for keepers who come out of their line too often.

If Neuer had also played in the EPL, he would've stuffered same fate. Premier league players are too fast when pressing u and they have players who would always shoot from half way line
I think we're too hasty in all these conclusions.

I always thought that "Guardiola can't make it in EPL" lesson would make most of us calm down on all these "EPL will expose you" talk

Scammacca have gone back to Italy grin
I told you westham don't do well with 9 just the way Haller left but you thought otherwise
Explain this
This bolded is just superstition and I don't believe one bit. Just like how it's said that player wearing number 9 doesn't shine in arsenal or Chelsea

Moreover, What's the difference between Scammaca and Immobile? Immobile for example shone in Seria A, went to Dortmund (where even average Joes shine sef) and flopped, then went back to Seria A, his safe place, and still shine again winning European golden shoe. Worst part is that Scammaca wasn't even extraordinary in Seria A sef.

You would have had a valid point if he went to another league and not Seria A again

As lkng as he's African, FIFA will swing into action.
This is the same FIFA that allowed a man to play for the Canadian team ( Quinn, their number 5) he is a man that claims to gave transformed into a woman), they were not bothered about how his presence in the dressing room made the other normal girls feel

That said, I totally condemn any abuse of girls placed under the csre of their coach if it truly happened
Get your facts right bro, Quinn is not a guy. Quinn is born a female, she just only chose to identify herself as a non-binary or Queer (another aspect of LGBTQ).

You think if she's a guy that transformed to a girl, there wouldn't have been outrage from different media sites?

Yeah, he even said so after Man u post match conference and that he'll be ready for Barca in terms of intensity. And even though Man u were physical against us, he didn't even lament about it but said it was good for the boys to get upto speed.

It's surprising seeing Xavi saying such sha

I actually have the belief that if we find a way to break Barca’s counter attacks , we will beat them silly in any competitive match ( UCL inclusive ).

We have the players and the team spirit to get the job done . We just need everybody to be at their A-game and we will eat them out
I feel that the kind of good players we have and team spirit is what's really giving me hope. Plus the experience most of them have garnered all these years playing together Is really invaluable.

If they can all bring their A-game as they did most part of last season, then omorr we'll really really excel.

This is me looking forward to Man City and beyond cool

None of them also speculated that he was training alone because of a foot injury. He was an unused sub against United and there was no report of an injury. We know there have been serious inquiries about him over the last week, so it makes sense to argue he is training away from the team because of his impending transfer, especially when you consider Arteta's history on how he handles transfers with our young players.

Also, remember, no player is 100% healthy so it is easy for coaches to use minor or small pain as a front to keep a player away from playing instead of an impending transfer in this case. In the NBA, coaches use small injuries as excuse to rest players.
Fair and Valid points you raised. cool

I don't know about what @Spy360 said but below are credible sources supporting the fact that Balogun is now training separately because he is about to be sold.

https://theathletic.com/4717350/2023/07/24/folarin-balogun-arsenal-training/

https://metro.co.uk/2023/07/25/folarin-balogun-training-alone-as-arsenal-seek-50m-for-inter-milan-target-19186428/

https://www.goal.com/en-us/news/transfer-incoming-usmnt-folarin-balogun-trains-separately-arsenal-squad-us-tour/blt693a3de2b204b049
I just read all 3 sites and while they all corroborated to the fact that he trained away from the first team (which we all know), none was really certain that the reason why he trained away was because he wanted to be sold.

All they were just doing is speculations. Same thing most of us did here.

How do you know he's not innocent?
And even if he is guilty of what you're accusing him of, does he owe the press anything? Same Press/media that can overblow anything and everything?
You think we're in an ideal world? C'mon!

As for Balogun, on Monday he was made to train separately with a one on one trainer. I don't think this is anything new or sinister cos most arsenal players went through this drill eg Martinelli to improve his game.

After the training, Balogun even posted a diamond emoji in an arsenal shirt.(This was someone who was KICKED OUT, according to the "somewhere" read by Spy)

Another thing I noticed is that Rice wasn't available and the excuse given by Arteta is even more ridiculous if you look at it through "the Balogun lens". But guess what, that didn't cause any doubt because obviously, to you, there's no issues between Rice and Arteta.

Using Rice excuse and relate it to Balogun own, don't you this is just your false assumption playing tricks on you?

Arteta on why Declan Rice and Zinny was unavailable against Barca:

Dec had quite a strong kick in training and didn’t want to take the risk, he wasn’t comfortable to train yesterday and today, and we decided not to play him. With Alex, he had a muscular injury again, unfortunately. He’s getting back - I think he’ll be back soon, but it’s a shame that he hasn’t been with us the whole tour

Arteta on Balogun not available against Barca:

“He wasn’t available – he had a little foot injury, and he hasn’t been training with us, and he wasn’t available to us, that was the reason.”

Pressed further on whether Balogun still has a role to play in his plans, the Gunners boss said: “Yes, we will have to see. First of all, he has to be fit and available to play minutes
.”
