Na Partey dey block Lavia. We don agree personal term already. If we can shift Partey, I believe Arsenal will drop the money for Southampton.
To shift from Partey to Lavia Is a downgrade to be honest.

We need both Partey and Lavia in the team and Lavia to understudy Partey

We are making it look long we like prolonging issues
The transfer has moved way beyond pricing like say na tomatoes
We have to go back and forth like confused idiots
This is true.
E be like say dem still deh hold on to that Wenger legacy of always pricing no matter the obvious.

Clubs nowadays are not easily swayed, especially English clubs.

Arteta is joking with his job.
We had better buy a good partey replacement in M.Coinceiado.

A player whose only ticket is the champions league final goal he scored 2 years ago? I don’t see it working.

This same guy enjoyed luxury of playing time more than many Chelsea attacking players under different mangers in the last two years, yet, the champions league final of two years ago remains his major highlight. Even with Germany, he is usually on and off. Another question is, where does Arteta plan to play him? He is already in our team sha so I have low er my expectation.
This has been my issue with him but the excuse popping up is that Chelsea was unstable. You'd think that it's not same Chelsea under Tuchel we all knew. Or no be the same Chelsea people like James, mount, kante and chilwell shine

Another excuse is that he's played out of position (as a CF). People are forgetting that he actually played his preferred position as an attacking midfielder under lampard but he underwhelmed seriously. It was so bad that he was drafted to wings, he underwhelmed before finally finding a home at that false 9(CF)

His personal skills, I can't even point at any to see how he'll benefit us. He Isn't a clinical scorer, not a very good creator, not a good dribbler, isn't strong on the ball, isn't a good runner with the ball, even Shot scoring him no get

The only thing na just to hope make him shine and Arteta do him magic. How he shines, I've no idea but I just know if he does, it'll be for the betterment of Arsenal!

Tod Boehly seems to have found a loophole in the law or something. Chelsea's transfer activity is now on par with Computer Village's. It's as if they buy and sell every second.
I tell you and the worst part is that they're selling their deadwoods like say na buying club need them most.

This returning to bid for mount a third time makes no sense. He has just one year left on his contract which will expire next year if he doesn't renew and nobody so far has also come to submit bids alongside man u so why are they still acting sheepishly when the ball is in their court. They are just allowing Chelsea's foolish owner to ride them.
I don talk say Chelsea deh use JuJu cos this thing no normal.

Havertz and Mount bid no normal kan kan undecided

Well, Havertz is likely the tallest in our squad now so we now have a target man. He can also be an outlet if Rammy decides to go long. And he is not lazy as people claimed. Chelsea's poor form last season just rubbed off on him. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed.
Lol... If you think I'm using only last season to judge him, then you must be very very mistaken.

Lol...no be you dey calm us down about Jorginho. Anything Chelsea no dey work for arsenal
Lol, With Jorginho I even have something to hold onto regarding his style of play and skillset and if you place it alongside arsenal players(especially with the way we're dominating teams) you'll see that he might excel.

What skillset can we use to hold onto for Havertz? Forget about his Chelsea stint, just look at his style of play and skillset see whether it can help us
Can't mark, can't dribble, very poor goalscorer, can mark/press, he's not press resistant.
Can't play wing, hardly creative.

I mean, wetin you want make I look forward to concerning his skillset?

Statistically, Havertz was their best player.
Being better statistically (g/a) doesn't mean you're the better player overall, I believe you know this.

Moreover, his g/a combined is even single digit in the league fgs . Someone who have one of the highest minutes in that team as a CF is dropping that stats and you're branding it as being statistically their best player?

It is a pure joke. Nobody looks at that RM team as a reference for anything.

There was nothing definitive about their style, how they won or how momentous they were. They just won and deserve kudos for it but anything other than that is crapology.

People don't understand what it means to be generational. What it means to define an era of football never seen before or a consistency many had claimed was chimerical: a figment of one's imagination. Something that could never happen. That was Barca circa 2008-2012.
Word!!!
I liken them to Chile winning the Copa America title back to back.
No defining style of play neither do opposition piss in their pants when they meet them but hey, they will just win you and win the cup.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Jodera: 5:45pm On Jun 22, 2023
That 3 peat Real Madrid side was just there. They were good but certainly not the best. In all the 3 peat, they weren't overwhelmingly favourites to win the competition until they reached the final. Heck, every team had a belief that they can beat them (well until they're knocked out)

Guardiola's Barca on the other hand was a different level. Everybody who meets them expected to park the bus or at least tweak their formation just to contain them. You park bus, wahala; you no park bus, wahala.
They were a joy to behold, they were devastatingly dangerous. Any win against them then is greeted with much euphoria and fan fare by even opposition fan.

There are levels to this thing and Madrid 3-peat team no near am one bit. In fact, there's a reason Zidane isn't still feared even with his 3 peat. Guardiola on the other hand was very very most feared then!

Chelsea paid Leverkusen 71m for Havertz three years ago at 21years of age. Can you pay 50m for ESR? ESR is not even in the English national team.
Oga, that they bought him for 71m as an overpriced and overhyped player means nothing.

They also bought Kepa for 70m plus, I guess he worth it.
Man u bought Maguire for 70m plus, I guess he worth it too.

I can go on and on...

...And don't even bring that National team matter come here. The time that ESR starts for us, he was called up for national team. Easy peasy. Don't make it seem as if it's not because he's not seeing game time that's what affected his NT chances!

Havertz is better than ESR. That's not saying that ESR can't be better. The value placed on Havertz is his talent not necessarily his performance with Chelsea. He was badly managed at Chelsea.
