mostob:Hmmmm.... |
mostob:To me, it didn't die after Liverpool's draw. It died after Westham draw and We're almost burying it after Southampton draw. Just like Lazarus, we need Jesus to help us and resurrect it when all hope is lost — tomorrow |
And as for change in formation. I think we need to change formation to get anything out of that game tomorrow. Pep Guardiola 3241(but what sorta weird formation is this bikonu) will certainly decimate our 433 hands down. I'll go for 3421 Ramsdale Holding White Gabriel Saka Partey Xhaka (Jorginho— if Xhaka's not available) Tierney Odegaard Trossard Jesus Saka to play wingback the way he did it against Chelsea last season, while Tierney to play the opposite wingback. Unfortunately, Zinny will miss out cos this won't be his type of formation Partey and Jorginho to hold the midfield only if Xhaka isn't available (this kind of formation isn't alien to Jorginho at all, and with Partey by his side, his defensive frailties won't show) Trossard and Odegaard with the creative elements while Jesus(I just hope he'll be clinical) to stretch the defence Martinelli, Nketiah and Zinny can come in later on. NB: I know this won't happen sha cos Arteta is someone who's always strong to his principles no matter what but I just hope there's a change tomorrow |
And as for Viera. I don't know what he does In training for Arteta to select him over Trossard or ESR. I think Arteta should be more daring and take all games with all risk. Not starting Trossard (because of any possible injuries or sort) or Jorginho against must win game In Southampton is bad judgement. A Trossard or Jorginho will give us more grip In that Midfield compared to anything Viera would have offered us. Well, tomorrow is another day for us to still see if our season is still alive |
Tomorrow is the D-day. I just hope and pray we win but if otherwise happens, I believe the team gave their best this season and it was a good ride all along. Anything that happens to this team tomorrow, I truly proud of them and appreciate them. I've not really been happy or looking forward to sweet wonderful football for a long time than 2022 to 2023!! COYG!! |
mostob:Lol... Naim sure pass |
mostob:Lol... Mead and Viv shebi? ![]() I think Blacki signing have been a masterstroke this season. Omo, most important goals, it seems she Sabi score am. I read she went through a purple patch these past few months but overall, she's been good and she is chipping in with very important goals . Make them give us PSG, e be like say Wolfsburg sabi comot us wella ![]() |
Bombblacks:Eye test Sir ![]() |
afrodoc2:Na wetin make dem pals be that na, both are great. Both of dem good but one was highly favoured. Both of dem dey levels ![]() |
Ibime:E reach to weak person ![]() |
andrew444:The guy dey always amuse me with him takes. Nowadays, he's sounding more like a troll when it comes to Havertz matter and like you said, he's adding emotions to it. Surprisingly and ironically, he prides himself as someone who isn't looking at things emotionally. Imagine person coming last in a class of 37 and you claim na only 36 people pass am. How many people wan pass am before? ![]() Nothing surprises me with Jude when it comes to Chelsea matter again as long as Havertz starts. This is person who wished for Chelsea, his club, to lose UCL final just so to pass a point but when Chelsea won he still uses that same UCL he hoped they lose to brag about Havertz better than other WC players. Makanaki something ![]() Person wey talk say Jude no be Chelsea fan isn't far from the truth. He's just a Havertz fan masquerading as a Chelsea fan. Nothing concern am concern Chelsea and every player who's a threat to Havertz (either or Chelsea or being linked to) must be made an enemy of the state ![]() |
larride:Without Howard Webb and ref favouring una, it would have been closer. EPL knew this, reason why they have to acknowledge both ![]() |
Havertz10:You're so doing a bad job in defending Havertz Tbh!! Who is Chelsea no9 if not Havertz?. And how can you use 7 goals to brag about a player who's playing top 9 for a top club called Chelsea? Just keep on writing about Havertz off the pitch thesis. ![]() |
Ibime:That stats make me laugh walahi!!! ![]() Imagine being a top club as a top 9 and you're still saying "only 20" players pass you for scoring. What is "only" about that 20?? ![]() |
mostob:Make sense!! I never knew we could turn it around!! Big ups do the girls! Seems arsenal senior teams dey vex this season ![]() |
mostob:Lol.. no mind am, I just believe say Xhaka(our avenger), is on a revenge mission ![]() As for Haaland... Why do I believe it's sort of mind games by Man city so that he won't play in internationals? ![]() |
BlueRayDick:Lol... Maybe I used Malicious Instead of reckless (which should have been a better wording). But yeah, it's just a coming together. Rodri wanted to take a shot in the air (leg level tho), Tierney quickly poked the ball away from him (as a sort of clearance), thus the latter's leg was at the receiving end instead of the ball. Even Tierney no shout nor vex. He knew that he was just unlucky and that's part of ball So yeah, I didn't see it as reckless unlike the one he did Odegaard the other day. That was pure recklessness |
mostob:Lol... It could be coincidence na ![]() Btw, I'm not really sure Partey own is very serious. I feel it's precaution. If he didn't make it to Leeds(due to him needing all the rest), then he'll surely make it to Liverpool. |
iamoyindamola:That looks malicious and a very bad tackle. But the one ystdy doesn't look like one. I watched it ystdy and Tierney was just unfortunate |
mostob:I think Tierney was just unlucky ystdy with that tackle. I don't think there was any malice from Rodri ystdy Hopefully, Tierney injury isn't serious |
Ihebu4chelsea:There's a reason I answered Havertz.10 with that reply. Na you wey reply me you suppose dey answer this question wey you ask so |
MorataFC: ![]() |
MorataFC:Lol, he's just proving it more with every single posts of his here ![]() |
Ihebu4chelsea:So you mean ONLY Havertz is the reason you guys have hope of beating Madrid? He played a crucial role last time against Madrid, fine, But is he the ONLY ONE? let's pretend Kante(one of una overrated players according to him) wasn't more instrumental than Havertz |
Havertz10: ![]() I'm not sure you even believe that lies too ![]() |
odizeey: ![]() See as e dey sweet you to type am ![]() Thank God say e no fit be reality ![]() |
odizeey:Apart from Van Persie, how many bully you don bully me with? |
andrew444:Confused people ![]() People who didn't know the WC was rigged until the last kick of the final pk shootout after Morocco don eliminate their idolo ![]() |
I remember last season and previous seasons under Arteta where once we concede first it's literally over for us. It's either we lose that game (90% of the time) or we draw the game(10% of the time). I can remember us doing a comeback last season Once (against Wolves 2-1) and once against Tottenham the previous season (2-1). I remember this season when I dropped a pix during preseason about how Arteta was working with the team on how he made them to play as if they're 1goal down with 15min to go. We could see how it's yielding dividends during the season. We've been the team that hardly do comeback wins to the team that had the most comeback wins in EPL this season (5) (2-1 Fulham, 4-2 Aston Villa, 3-2 Bournemouth, 3-1 West Ham and 3-2 Man u). We've also been the team to score 90+ winning goals the most (4) (against Aston Villa 2ce, Bournemouth and Man u). Kudos to Arteta, the coaching staff/crews and all the players!!! Appreciation!! Hopefully, they all come back stronger without injuries and more Motivated after the intl break. This is the most intense and more pressured period COYG!! |
