afrodoc2: Lol. So you didn't know Merson played for Assanal? Academy product and played more than a decade with the senior team. Very good technically, but it is quite ironic coming from him who was known as an alcoholic and cocaine addict. Lol, I knew he played for arsenal but I thought I once read he played for Chelsea (I admit, I've never watched him play). I didn't even know how good he was sef Lol the bolded is the reason why I wanted to switch him to Chelsea cos It's surprising coming from him |

Greenwood charges dropped!!!
I wonder how this season would have fared if the allegation for Partey was deemed to be credible and he's been out of the team all these while.
Maybe we for don dey drag for top 4 and we'll still be thinking that that's our potential.
Hmmmm... |

iamoyindamola: I disagree Next season will be different, he should sign extension and go on loan to epl or seria a or Germany(Dortmund) Already the 2 Milan clubs are sneaking around, other clubs are also interested home and abroad Not Bad then... Me I'm just after his growth that's why and if the loan deal still works out in any of those leagues you mentioned, then no yawa |

Shegzdave: Why do you suggest this?? He's doing exceedingly well there on his first senior debut campaign and with the way things are going, he's happy there. One thing for very young players is that the need stability and minutes in order to develop very well. He's getting that at Reims and they are also benefitting from him all with the highest competitiveness in the league Taking him out from that place either back to arsenal where he'll not get much game time or a new club for another loan might disrupt his growth |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 8:30am On Feb 02, 2023 |
iamoyindamola: This was why I wanted him to go on 2 years loan, next season he's can't still break into the squad with nketiah and jesus form Another headache for next season They should still loan him to Reims again for another season once this season concludes. That's my advice! |

FBS: This is the type of excuse that I can't stand. haha. It's part of the job. Many managers will kill to have this type of squad. I don't expect us to win or play well in every game, my take is that we should start getting glimpses of their potentials. Lol... Fingers crossed sha. Let's see how it goes |

FBS: With the right manager (be it Potter or not) we suppose to start cooking from this season. Gast to set the tone man. To bed in many different players midway through the season isn't that straight forward like game Tbh except most of the injured players (important ones oo) will be back. But from next season, sadly, I believe you guys will cook sha. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 12:59am On Feb 02, 2023 |
ObaIgwe1: No not about ffp... I know they would have found a way to beat that.
I mean with the amount spent from summer till now, the way they just hijack deals, buy at any cost... Ordinarily they should be near Top 4 by the end of the season. Just that their whole approach doesn't look like they were following a clearly laid down process and pathway... Looks more like a panic approach to just throw in money and anything and get the team back to the top at any cost... But hope they prove me wrong. So I am watching.
Else, they will be the real definition of big money miss road. If you look at the players being paraded, you'll know they have a clearly laid out plan. Young, energetic, good and willing players. It's up to their coach to harness them to greater heights. Tbh, I will really be surprised if most of this signings are more misses than hits I dunno about this season but something tells me that Chelsea will be hot next season. Hopefully, we'll be hotter!!! |
