We were harder on Emery remember. What's with the feel on being soft on Arteta?
Under Emery 2nd season, we weren't seeing the light again. Not only were we playing poorly, we were also having Leno to thank for always keeping the scorelines respectable. Our midfield was express way, all the players lost form. I don't remember many people being hard on Emery during his first season.

Arteta on the other hand, we were initially hard on him but now we've seen improvements as our plays have improved.

I watch our games mostly and I know Lacazette positioning and hunger to get to the end of things is very very poor. Even Nketiah I was even against looks far more threatening most times he comes on. I know it's not because Laca lacks chances that's why he's on a goal drought, on the contrary, he seems to hide himself when chances are been presented. Na the main reason why I don do U-turn for Laca matter cos as he isn't even involving himself in other plays and can't even score goals, then Nketiah needs to replace him asap.

I believe we'll see more goals with a good striker than Lacazette

Hmmmn...best believe it oh. Football is staged because now it's all about the commercial value and no longer entertainment, especially with the emergence of betting sites.

The bet companies influence the results if you check am well. No cap

That's why everything is stats-driven now. Back then it was just about the entertainment, but now it's more about stats with little or no regard to players contribution on the pitch.

As for Rashy and Fred, we've got to do away with players who make keeping up to required standards look like a chore.

I don't even mind Ten Haag getting nameless players who're hungry to learn and play.

Time to do away with these so-called big names, afterall, small small teams dey ball pass us undecided
I don't believe football is staged sha. It's a worldwide business so it's expected to have high commercial value. If really it's staged like wrestling, it would certainly have casted esp in this digital/internet age. Many aggrieved players also would have run their mouth, so no, I don't believe it's staged. There might be one or two betting matches but it won't be rampant and it's mostly hidden

Yeah, Ten Haag would need to cast away many players at man utd. I think Most players need a new Club and new scenery to get their self back. I just feel most players aren't bad/poor, it's just the poor mentality that have eaten deep into them that's just manifesting. Na even greenwood I dey pity pass (before his controversy), the guy just seem to stall this season. See how most of him mates that he had more talents than are just excelling in other clubs

First off, no let make Pep deceive you cos he no get striker.

That man assembled one of the world's most deadly team with your fave playing the false 9 role.

Pep is a genius when it comes to that false 9 thing, so forget Man City

As for the individual quality, no be lie. But it's always been more of a system thing to me. Plus some players are irredeemable.

... It's also true that players who were key players in their former teams come into United to struggle. Now, that's weird and mysterious and that's why sometimes I think this football thing is staged, just to get people talking

You know before SAF left, it used to be a big team like Liverpool struggling.

But did Liverpool really even Struggle?! I'll say NO.

Na only trophy dem just no win cos Torres, Suarez, Coutinho, Sterling, Gerrard were all there and the team played Excellently.

But why my United no fit ball reach bottom table teams na the biggest mystery for Football.

Jsyk: Fred flatters to deceive, and you no answer my question weda you go want am for your team oh cheesy
grin grin grin

Do you know that I do think about that bolded randomly but I don't want to just believe it's staged. After all, na so wrestling been deceive most people for decades before they were finally found out. Omo, if na true eh, na we arsenal fans go cry pass grin grin

As for your question. It depends o. Let's use Rashford for example, if you've given me Rashford 2-3 seasons ago, I would have joyfully accepted without thinking twice but now I'm thinking twice. That's how I'm thinking with Fred. As a matter of fact, I don't believe Fred is as bad as he's been showing for Man utd all these while. It's just so sad he met Ole who didn't improve his game (and most man u players).

It's the inconsistency that kills na

Play well, they praise you for media

Then next time you go on a long streak of stinkers shocked

Which of our midfielders even dey Mason Mount Levels seff

Don't be fooled by big names; I was once fooled, but never again grin

I nor gree cry
You're just insulting your players just because of Ronaldo. You know say mount no reach Bruno levels ability wise but because you wan make point for Ronaldo automatically mount better pass all Una midfielders.

The Fred you've been belittling here have been one of the best midfielders in your team since rangnick came but nahh, you won't see it. He's also a regular in a country that normally benches fabinho who is a starter in almighty Liverpool grin grin

There's a popular saying here that most players loses form when they play for Man u and I'm beginning to buy that idea. Maguire isn't this bad for England as he is for Man u. Mctom is a starter for Scotland that's in contention to starr in this year's wc same as pogba who's a starter for star-studded France.

Everyone knows you guys have one of the best team in England individually even in squad depth. I remember how Lingard scored a winning goal coming off the bench against West ham since then I know dey see am again.
If you guys don't know how to fit in all these players, how is it their fault. How then do you claim all your players are poor bar Ronaldo?

You know? I always look at that man city attack that has one of the highest goals in the league and I wonder how Pep Is doing that miracle.

Yet you guys have one of the best attack in England

a pity the best striker left.

The one playing to Arteta's instructions never jam goal in 20hrs. The games Auba adapted to his style, he went goalless too. Arteta should swallow the humble pie, cos if he experiments or tries to force the incoming striker to the style, Goal no go show o.
Lol, I think the bolded is too hard on Arteta without looking at context.

One, Auba left because he wasn't feeling to be here again. In his last days here, He's not putting his body to score not that he wasn't even getting the chances. Lacazette on the other hand, everyone knows he hardly scores. Most of our games I noticed this past few weeks I noticed he's always hiding when he should have make a dashing run to score. Last match was even worst, especially that chances that Pepe unfortunately missed from a square ball by Saka. I was looking for Laca and I saw him hugging the other post far away from the action and that's just only one example from the numerous examples.

A good striker that can score will score in this system. Don't use Auba decision to leave arsenal or Laca lack of goal threat to judge Arteta's system

I know this, that's why I asked the question...I'm saying considering that Liverpool's greatest strength is quickly transitioning from defense to attack, the highline is integral to how we play and not calling offside decisions that lead to set pieces or throw ins is inimical to our play...
City got about 3-4 throws in our half from offside plays, I'm sure you saw all these but everyone is hung up on Fabinho not getting a red for what was clearly a yellow..

Klopp was notably angry at this in-match when he said "what's wrong with your flag", referring to the lines man letting play go on for obvious offsides...I thought the rule was to let play go on when the Offside call is tight and not the other way round...
Anyway, what's done is done, I'm done...
On to the next match...
Of course na, that's the new rule. A linesman won't raise flag up even if it's obvious offside until the ball is out of play (either through a goal or out of the player's leg) or if the goalscoring chance is altered. If only after that they'll blow.

Klopp knows this. If he complains about it then it's just his emotions talking. And that's understandable knowing the kind of match that happened ystdy
