Hahaha...caught you in the act. Thanks for the words and a solid amen to your prayers. God bless! pauloman: Lol...u caught me taking a sneek peek up in here. No updates except to tell all trv hopefuls that the whole stress and waiting is worth it every inch of the way because Canada has massive potentials to be the best place to be in the world and its waiting for as much people as it can admit to be a part of that opportunity and prosperity ! May God make all our dreams and aspirations come true and i say Congrats to those that just got their trv's....Sir P et al |
@Pauloman...how are you Sir?. Any update for the house? |
Hahaha...you are right bruv. Good news all the way. We are winning. johnsonerhis: @Jeo980 n all, d wait is so uncomfortable though we dont have any oda choice. More gud news in d house pple! Atleast gudnewz makes d waitin a little bearable. Cheers |
@Valentino...your friend has to abide by the school rules to get his offer letter. |
Slowly but surely bruv...we gat people here still chilling after 2months plus. You need more pills. It is well...¤wink¤ johnsonerhis: @all, I submited my applicatn to VAC on sept. 4th and d waitin pill doesnt seem 2 work any more. Any one with similar challenge? |
Bruv, don't let anyone discourage you. What works for A might not work for B. They know what they want from an applicant. If you have application fee to try luck with, get a good statement of purpose,cv and fire them. In most cases you don't get to know your stand until you apply. cris83: i checked out George brown college, but they dont any program relating to what i would like to study.... |
Yippie! Congrats...you made my day. Goodnews all through the week & more to come God willing. lft: Dear all |
Forum is kinda dull a lil'...who is giving the house first good news of the week? Can't wait... |
Bruv...it will do you real good reading from page one. Size is 2*2 though. 600*600pixels. Josh121: what is the passport size please |
Great...God bless! oreajayi: Just got my admission letter issued for January last night. Hopefully will be resubmitting next Thursday. |
For all that couldn't see/view what @KennG posted. Condition(s) remains the same. ¤Pay tuition fee & accommodation under the normal time frame.(a month). Shikena. Do not ask her anymore question pls. I am her mouthpiece. |
Congrats to the freshest '@Goddeymydear & @KennyG'. More goodnews in the house. |
Any update on this recruitment? |
@Spencer, thanks for the update and clear info about tuition. I told @Jesus4all to contact school to know how much to pay. Some schools do sum up total expenses for a whole year(tuition, insurance, accomodation, living expenses etc). I feel its clear now to say FULL TUITION is adviceable to be paid once CDHC gives the go ahead. @AugustApplicant! You have come again to confuse/mis inform people with your Naija ways of doing things. CDHC strictly says "do not pay tuition fee until adviced". Even though some schools wants you to pay before issuing LOA, very few I guess. Anyone who wants to go AugustApplicant's way should make sure he/she has indept of the school's refund policy. Someone on this forum was once denied visa despite paying tuition fee. Let's be careful please... |
@Jesus4all...get intouch with your school, tell them CDHC has directed you to go ahead with payment. Tell them you wanna know how much you are to pay into your school account. I guess this would help. |
It is 600x600 pixels...have you taken time to visit their web for 2014 dv instruction?...Please do. strangest: No one can give you an actual size at the moment. There was a time it was 100 by 100 pixels and later 300 by 300 pixels, you have to confirm from their website dvlottery.state.gov starting from Oct 2 |
All original documets will be returned. They only keep copies for records. Jesus4all: @ all,is it true that the canada embassy will not return every orignal documents like certificates, results submitted after they have issue trv to the applicant? That only photocopies are to be submitted. |
(1)Do make 'google' your friend. Search for 'engineering schools in Canada', go through the list of schools web; paying attention to courses and requirement for international students. (2)Are you ready to gamble with application fee?...most school will tell you to apply before knowing your stand. Would advice you tailor each requirement to what you have(cgpa, experience etc) and fire with a comprehensive statement of purpose. You might e favored. cris83: Good day nairalanders. please i need your honest advice on applying to universities in Canada. Am tired of these agencies telling me that i cant gain admission into a university in Canada with 2:2, rather i must go through PGD, which i feel is not ideal for me. Its not possible for all universities to reject applicants with a 2:2 degree although i do know that applications are highly competitive but if God said you go get that application, nobody can stop it. |
You are cool with the application. It's all about favor. Good luck ahead. Rapuziaokwu: Pls house talk to me. I ve heard so much about sponsors not being credible. I ve submitted my application, my sponsor is my uncle who resides in canada wit no other dependent. He is even a canadian citizen. He gave me a sponsorship letter, his statement of account, tax clearance, data page of passport and I drew a family tree to show the relationship. I hope the embassy will see it as credible. |
Thank God you know 'vanity upon vanity'...this applies to your so called money. Get some attitude please! Themaingate: guy you are drunk ni ?Who e dey fight for ? why didnt he settle the issue amicably with the mgt of arik ? Why tryn to paint the airline black ? How much is the ipad that he will not allow us hear word na ? |
I don't know why some Nigerians are busy mocking Omojuwa. To me he took a bold step in fighting for people without voice...the #shirt he wore onboard was delibrate and did that all for attention. I have bn following this guy story since he narrated his experience. For those who can't stand for their rights, I wish you luck! Here is what I bookmarked then when I stumbled on his ordeal. http://omojuwa.com/?p=8676&wpmp_tp=0 |
Well, if he could address all they highlighted and repackage with same sponsor it's gonna be positive. It's not a must parents/people with same surname sponsor before one could be granted trv...it's all about meeting the requirement and God's favor. On this same forum, we have seen applicant getting denied despite been sponsored by parents and relatives with same surname. I stand to be corrected though! efosa12345: I think justwise is correct, because from my understanding distant relative might not work because the VO will be thinking that the cash will not be released once the visa is granted, if you has brother/sister, dad/mum it will be better than that of family friend because to start with not same surname. |
Hahaha...how do you mean please?. Postgraduate basically means 'aftergraduating' surecan: now you have come |
Ordinary diploma is different from post graduate diploma. I think we could get ourselves cleared by checking on the schools website for each requirement. PGDiploma requirement will surely be a BSc. While Diploma is seen as our National Diploma here.. House could put more light. surecan: Do you think that diploma and post graduate diploma are the same |
@bigfrancis21 GRE materials. I forgot to add that. Thanks. |
@bigfrancis21 could you send materials to oliverjoe980 @ yahoo.com Thanks |
