Osimhen is not in the class of Mbappe and co. What he brings to a team those guys don't. He brings more than goals. He is a monster tackler in attack. it's massive.

realpoacher:
I was watching the Galatasaray match and kept shaking my head.

I hate unambitious people

Very annoying set of team mates

Against E. Frankfurt without Osimehn, you lost scandalously 5-1... He came back and Singlehandedly and I mean every single word of it, Osimehn Singlehandedly won 3 straight matches for you Topping the UCL Goals Scorers chart in the process.

And on the day he was absent against USG at home, you can't step up and win.... Useless bunch of idiots.

Same as SE..., those clowns we call players can't even beat any poor African teams to save their lives.

These situations clearly shows the top quality of Osimehn.

Osimehn is a Top, Top World Class Striker, a World Class Player and I will hence forth have issues with anyone here criticizing his game going forward.

Osimehn is in the class of Mbpape, Halland and Co.

My God boy is too good.

And where the Bleep is Sir Komekn btw ? huh

We haven't seen him since Osimehn has been leading the whole Europe from the Hausa league

Also hope everyone can see that Osimehn Singlehandedly made Galatasaray beat Liverpool on Match day 2 and it was by no means a fluke?

If Gala couldn't beat common USG without Osimehn, I wonder how they would have fared against even a "poor" Liverpool without him

The rumor has been on Bissaka, but I doubt there is anything on him.
Amedino99:
unless there is a rule that you cant invite a player that his switch has not been fully confirmed, i dont think the case has any merit. Maybe wan Bissaka and DR Congo is not even the target. Lets see how it goes. We cant lose in this situation really. If there is a case we win, if there is no case we maintain status quo although im of the opinion there is no case. If they want to go to the world cup they can buy the ticket e no cost like that for them.

OGN published a weird news article. Oh yes it is OGN. but there is definitely some smoke here. Whatever it is, I hope we will not be taken on another round of rising hopes, and then finally dying -- a third time. The only thing that brings me from hibernation is the world cup. Osasu, OGN and facebook rumors please don't let me return to NL just yet. If anything let it be that SA has a match fixing allegation.. na that one i go like hear. Benjamin Frederick and Osimhen, see you at the WC grin

You have summed it up!

TheSuperNerd:
WE HAVE MIDFIELDERS BUT CHELLE IGNORES THEM.

AKINSANMIRO. UCHE, he doesnt know how to utilise.

Onyedika, he doesnt know how to utilise.

Again, I will say it... I laughed so hard when folks here were praising Chelle for saying he monitors over 500+ players overall or 80+ players weekly. That is cap! Complete cap! You dont monitor that much and not come up with tactical realisations on certain talents monitored.

We were not disgraced playing 2nd fiddle to Congo DR for most of the game. it's a shame

Goke7:
Anyway, is ok, we were not disgraced

We need to scout for midfielders

Okay, I pray Ajayi will be at his best.. Other than that, I am pretty comfortable with this.

soetanoreoluwa:
This formation can work for
4231, 442, and 424

It will depend on the transition of building up, offensive and defensive....

Easy switch formation...

if you follow my takes here you will observe this is what i'm saying:

1. Okoye in the past donning the GWG kept with pressure. And this is what the fans didn't like about him. Nwabali stepped in with a high level of confidence.
2. Okoye has had more games under his belt for club and has shown like stars recently when Nigeria took on Russia
3. I am saying now that if he gets another chance at this high stakes match he will seize it with with both hands and never look back.

Kilishihunter:
O pari cause of an afcon game years ago? He might not even need to make much saves tomorrow if our offense does the needful
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 5:35am On Nov 16, 2025
i was implying the opposite bro.
charlesemeka85:
the way u guys undermine some certain players here eeh dey annoying

Okoye wey dey face the likes of inter Milan, Juve, Napoli and Milan stars week in week out na em go come dey shake against congo? Nawaoo for una ooo

I don talk am, if Okoye get his chance for this kind high stake matches, na o par i o
Goke7:
He was limping for some part of the match with Gabon after one of those his stunts I even thought he will be subbed. Won’t be surprised if he doesn’t achieve full fitness. That one na self harm for himself cause no body send am message to dribble anybody

He actually refused to be subbed in the Gabon game perhaps seeing the risk to his starting place
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 8:51pm On Nov 15, 2025
the thing be say the kind confidence he get players/coaches no even dey reason say if dem test am with shots he go crumble. if you get shaky shaky goalie e dey embolden opponents oh. lol

Toylove:
If my memory serves me right, I’m not sure Nwabali has faced serious shots in recent times. The goals he conceded were mumu goals which he could have done better
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 7:28pm On Nov 15, 2025
kai.. i dey enjoy your imputs. i'm learning

So Tiv people would problably have given us Dominic Iorfa jnr if he didn't stall when we wanted him.

Mujtahida:
No. Simon is Idoma. Amokachi is mixed. Idoma father and Tiv mum. Tiv people have given us the Kpakor brothers (Moses and Terfa) , Barnabas Imenger, Edward Anyakegh (Oman 95 u-17 tourney), Dominic Iorfa.

Francisca Ordega, the Falcon player is Tiv.

In the 90s BCC Lions and Lobi dominated in the Nigerian league.

But my people, nothing nothing. E dey pain me.

Lookman was immense against Gabon, provided several passes to Osimhen. But there is just something about his passes, maybe a little heavy, maybe a little out of position than Osimhen is used to.
9JAMac10:
Chukwueze >> Lookman. Sam had better bond and chemistry with Osimhen than lookman does. Lookman likes to hold on to the ball unevenly , is selfish and wants to be a headliners hero. That hat trick was a year ago , he better step up or step out . Players full Nigeria home and diaspora
