How you check this Seinfeit guy for Super Eagles? He was my pick back then TheSuperNerd: Morocco will beat Zambia and top the group so no issues.
Actually impressed with Mali's approach to the Moroccans. Started 5 natural midfielders. 5!!! And assigned them roles.
Morocco na my team but I kinda didnt appreicate how they got their penalty. Mali showing that this Moroccan team is not invincible at all. |

oga we lost because we couldn't play well after Osimhen could not continue. I have no doubt we would have won that game. why will i blame penalties for anything. Though I faulted Ekong not leading the team in the PKs. your argument is stale CapitalCee: Leave Osihmen. Nigeria Knocked out SA in the 2 biggest Football tournament in African in the last 1 year.
You denigrated the super Eagles for losing on penalties, but the match they won on penalties you said “its just penalties “ can you make up your mind? You are not consistent |

nobody perfect o.. but naija imperfection na pro max level. make we talk true. Egunje determines who becomes coach. there are no patriots in that glass house abi how dem dey call that house? modified need i mention the hotel Iwobi was showcasing? Bossoflife25: You need to read the news more, my friend! Everywhere is perfect except Nigeria! Read more news about SA football administration, abeg! Ordinary school boy error almost cost them the World Cup, if that was Nigeria I could not have imagine how hard you would have come for them but you are here praising the same SA Admin. lol
Sometimes we Nigerians need to take a break and think critically. Most of our outburst are not neccessary! |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 6:40pm On Dec 26, 2025 |
oga.. we fell flat after Osimhen could not continue. it is how we played they vex me pass. pk na pk las las modified A team that become useless when just on player is absent, is a useless team. Even thouhg SA played most of their games at home during the qualifiers, it was Osimhen's absences that is the major reason why we did not qualify. Maybe if we had a solid coach from the start, one player's absence will not be an issue. CapitalCee: Yeah but you de use PK knockout against Dr Congo to judge. This is the second time today, you have turned logic on its head, first you said Egypt will pipe us, we brought the friendly were they won with a clear offside Narrowly against our reserve team, you said its just a friendly, now PK is nothing, but its something when DRC used it to win against us. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 |

okay.. na bad administration go continue to kill us. Why do we find ourself oftentimes changing coaches? That is the big question. we are not even talking about our domestic league yet. Kilishihunter: We could have still qualified without beating them home plus away, we dealt with ourselves with finidi's appointment |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 6:36pm On Dec 26, 2025 |
you and I know we have not been doing our homework football admin wise. Let's have that convo if we are doing things right to show our full potential. I am not taking anything from them. Good administration and a nice blueprint has made them a force today. Not necessarily talents. Bossoflife25: Based on what metrics should SA not be discussed. SA eliminated the favorites in the last two editions! One of those team is 7 times Champion! That is not a small team. My problem with most critics is that you assume the Super Eagles top be a perfect team that you yourself has not seen anywhere! |

you dey use pk knock out and female football argue.. We no dey go world cup, no forget.. Who do us like that? CapitalCee: Same SouthAfrica that we knocked out in both WAFCON and AFCON semifinals in the last one year? 🤣🤣🤣 |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 6:30pm On Dec 26, 2025 |
We are not stuck on the past.. We are stuck on our football development generally. The NFF has had no solid plans. modified so in this respect dem no suppose dey mention thier name follow us if we have been serious about our football SymphonyRad: I no gree for this one, in the past 10 or so years SA have leveled up and are now at our level if not slightly above (truth hurts), many of us were still stuck in the 90's and early 2000's until reality woke us up. Only part I agree with is us performing below our potentials |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 6:28pm On Dec 26, 2025 |
SA were definitely not poor. E get why i said in the first half they deserved to be at the WC BankyGee: Yeah, in the first half Egypt were better, but they weren't out playing SA, SA weren't poor too.
Quality will always show, who big pass you big pass you, but SA will play you clean football even if they'd go on to lose. I'm not even trying to say I wanted South Africa to win or anything. My argument is simple – that South Africa are a good team. |

exactly.. remove Osimhen it seems we are one man down. We lose character and the match just drags out.. Our team get serious problem. minfelix: omo bro make i no lie, we faced same pressure from DRC ooo🤣🤣🤣, the pressure from DRC was more than this oo, ours even dragged enter 120 mins….though the only difference is that we weren’t on red card….but that Osimhen wey no come back second half b like red card to me ooo🤣 |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 6:26pm On Dec 26, 2025 |
we all watched the last AFCON na. The match could have gone either way. Normally sef SA no suppose dey the convo where Super Eagles dey. The point is that we are performing below our potentials. Bossoflife25: SA eliminated 11 man Egyptian team even when Egypt hosted it in 2019. Also eliminated Morocco last AFCON. Guess who stopped them on both Ocassions? The argument is not about how good SA is but about the disrespect to the Super Eagles! |
