Yet again produced some sublime moments of magic on the ball to get past Leeds players with ease. A constant threat going forward and was unlucky not to score when he had a shot deflected wide in the second half. |

The problem is Komekn will never rate a player until they perform in England or environs. Does football revolve around England? There are many players that have never played in England but they are still quality. Try and be more balanced. Look at Sadiq Umar's development. Not every player will thrive in every league. Umar has played in the Serie A and the Eredivisie and did well there. He did not have a great Olympic outing but still scored 4 goals from 6 matches. You cannot rubbish those performances just because he did not shine in Scotland for whatever reason. |

I agree those you mentioned are ahead. Although Tbaba may be commenting on his other abilities or how he may have put pressure on the opponent's defense today. However, they are strikers, and their primary duty is to score or at least make assists. Umar, Dessers and Okereke are clearly ahead for now. Danielnino00: Let him score some goals first.. there are other players like Umar, Desser and Okerekw who deserve to be called up too... |

That was my point, indirectly. Although I align with tbaba on that specific topic, let's call a spade a spade. darkelf: You guys were quick to castigate eartquake1. What he did was wrong and should never be allowed to stand. However many of you are guilty of the same. But nobody comes out yo castigate them
Komekn is a perennial victim of that crossing and verbal abuse but I don't see any of you coming out as defenders of the universe.
What is good for the goose is good for the gander. Tbaba isn't more important than any moniker here. So please stop the hypocrisy it stinks.

Strikethrough/crossing is just a formatting. It carries the same meaning as when someone goes ahead to rubbish your post with a response. somehow: Its a big issue
Makes us look stupid on this board Like some unserious people idling away with senseless comments day in and out.

Why are we making a big issue of the "crossing". A post can be rubbished in so many ways. I agree he should not have stopped there, but gone ahead to counter tbaba's post. modified But even in the midst of all that we have jabs that come from uncivilized people, who cannot make an argument without targeting the person. somehow: Prove that I've ever crossed anyone's comments or ever called any trash before.
I am not interested in mudslinging if that is what you come on this board to do.

This place is not Romance or Politics Section, where dunderheads have free rein to misbehave. We can take the occasional jabs from certain monikers, but this rubbish you did with tbaba's post will not stand.
It would do you well to refrain from such juvenile behavior next time. |

oga, Pinnick is going about it a very very wrong way. Why all the media panorama. He did the same with Tammy. All Eze needed was an official invitation. If he turns that down, then he should be allowed time and space to rescind his decision. komekn: Thankfully Amaju is not ignorant of the dynamics of football marketing and value associated with national allegiance.
Soon Eberechi Eze will be playing for Nigeria, my expectations before the end of January or sooner. |

Tell them make dem hia .. All those patriotic bs. tbaba1234: Football is a career, some of us make moves in our careers primarily for financial reasons not because we love our company more than another.
When the financially better move aligns with a career advancement move. The choice is easy. That is why most players will choose England over Nigeria.
It does not mean, they love one country over the other. Some of these boys listen to mainly Nigerian music but they have a connection to both countries. |

That Umar matter for Glasgow no pure.. modified Komekn need to be balanced Koboko99: On Sadiq Umar's time at Rangers FC and his relationship with Steven Gerrard.
Speaking to The Sunday Post, he said: “All of a sudden, I was told that I could not use the first-team dressing-room any more. Instead I had to go change with the kids. Then, after a few days, I was also forbidden to park my car inside the training centre.
“I felt humiliated and kept asking what was the reason for the change of attitude. But I never received any answers. Gerrard wouldn’t give any explanation about it, neither to me nor my representatives.
“I believe absolutely that I was not given a fair chance to show what I can do. They made me feel like a stranger. I started only once (in the League Cup semi-final against Aberdeen) and that was when there were no other strikers available.
“As I say, for me everything went wrong after they brought in another striker (Lafferty). Once I put a ‘like’ on Instagram to a post from a fan – and I was fined £20,000, which was absurd.
“And Rangers didn’t even pay me up everything I was due. They still have to give me my salary for December.”
If we talk about a certain player at wolves, someone will tell us he was frozen out of the team because of Jorge Mendez involvement with the club but he's always too quick to pass a judgment on Sadiq Umar.
Sadiq was froze out of the team too without any explanation, not like he played 25 games without scoring.
If you can make excuses for someone because he didn't get to play then think twice before you pass such judgement on Sadiq. |
