I agree Kelechi Nwakali. tbaba1234: Salisu Yusuf should not manage the under 23.
Look at his list for the Athletico friendly... It is terrible especially the fringe foreign players. What is Kelechi Nwakali and Usman Muhammed doing there? Usman Muhammad that can not get games in Norway ??
What about Samuel Kalu, Olayinka, Obinna Nwobodo, Ebere Eze etc.. People that actually had good seasons.
All these padi padi invitations sef. |

Yes it was on SkySports News yesterday— SuperSports Blitz TheSuperNerd: Rohr harps on Quality team football above individual quality
”We don’t have Kanu, Jay Jay Okocha, Ikpeba, Victor Agali, we have a team team who must win together, play quality football because not one player can make us win,” Rohr stated in an interview on Channels Television .
”This is the first thing that we decided for everybody to be attacking when we have the ball, everybody has to defend when we don’t have the ball.
”This quality kind of football brought us to the World Cup. When we get the ball, we have fast attacks, this kind of style is for me among our strengths.
”What I like about the team is the fighting spirit and the capacity to suffer together.”

Aluko told CSN: “The onus is on Nigeria and not the players. Nigeria have to make it attractive for these players to leave the path they’ve known. ‘’After being in the English system, and Nigeria who have never invested in their career invite them, it would be difficult. “Even me that can be described as a success story, I only have six caps, I haven’t started in a competitive game for Super Eagles but I have scored two goals and people said I have done well. ‘’So it is the responsibility for Nigeria to make it attractive for them which I think is what they are trying to do now in getting these players.” komekn: Easily done.
But not without an official mandate and true commitment reflected on merit. The way Aluko was and is being treated does not inspire confidence in a lot of Nigerian origin players in the EPL and Championship. |

I wouldn’t go with Aina. 7-6-7 will be great. We have versatile defenders. J.Obi and Simmy in safarigirl: methinks our own list will be somewhat similar
If 8-5-7
Troost Balogun Shehu Idowu Awaziem Ebuehi Omeruo Aina
Mikel Ndidi Onazi Ogu Etebo
Moses Musa Iwobi Simon Iheanacho Ighalo Simy
Might be 8-6-6
Same 8 in defense, add Joel to Midfield, Remove Simy from Forwards. |

The conclusion of the matter is let the coach choose whoever he believes in. I’ve made the argument before that even national coaches know how they want to play, and will favor players they think can execute their winning formula. But coaches should never be agents. At the end of the day they are responsible for whatever outcome. andrew444: Lol
Breaking news bro,Andre Gomes and Nelson semedo of Barca not in Portugal final 23 man squad,do you think they deserve to be out? Who are the players Portugal have ? Imagine Cedric soared of Southampton making the list and not semedo of Barca? Alright it's football,Bt what can you say ? |

Very fine argument. Similar criticism Rohr has been getting from some of us here. Corrupt Deschamps andrew444: All the strikers deserved to be there,if I am the coach lacazette will take giroud place because giroud was a bench warmer at Arsenal, the same lacazette bench him he joined Chelsea and managed 3 goals in 13 games still not better than lacazette,I feel for lacazette no major tournament for such a player at the age of 26.
Giroud is just there as an old timer and that's all.
The only player I am happy for is nzonzi the rest deserved so,but my lovely digne of Barca is not there but I am not surprised befause he is a bench warmer same thing goes to giroud but he is coach favorite . |

Camera accessories na the koko. That’s what will aid better motion and placement. Quality of the cameras is just one aspect. Two cameras will not do much in terms of capturing different moments of the match. BascoVanVeli: I think we have at least 2 cameras but my problem is the quality of these cameras. |

Yusuf was appointed because of federal character rubbish.. our best tacticians should have been drafted to assist Rohr. We had both Amuneke and Siasia available. Humility017: it's like you still don't get it... SALISU YUSUF DREW UP THAT LIST....
I saw the laments online regarding the super eagles list i just smiled...only God knows players who would made up that list(SE WORLD CUP) had it been it was left for yusuf to draft... |

Why Usman Muhammad? This guy has played just 1 minute in the Eliteserien. We have the likes of Abdul Ajagun, Okechukwu Azubuike and we could have made a move for Ryan Sanusi or even Phillip Billing. Also it would have a great opportunity to make moves on some players like Ademola Lookman. This is an unofficial friendly so we could even cap a player like Lookman without having to make an application to FIFA first. It's understandable that majority of the players would have to be home-based, since the arrangement is put together to promote the NPFL. tbaba1234: Many of the CHAN boys are not on this list.

At least he should rep the league well in camp (and I mean not disgrace the NPFL). Why are some junors making it seem like Lokosa is going to Russia already? trust OGN daveP: Sad one. Very sad one. Looking for the universities that would Open that as a new faculty, or the parents that would watch their kids pick that as course of study when law, medicine, and engineering is there. Typical naija parenting. Hmm.
Lokosa doesn't know any iota of the burden on his shoulders yet. I hope he performs better than Mba that year and Rep the league well.

My brother the truth is we have to change a lot of things in our school curriculum. Even those saddled with teaching need to be retrained with a new mentality in view. What Nigerian grassroots development needs is the young ones to be exposed to the basics of tactics and an introduction to the science of football. But who can change things when most of our soccer administrators still hold on to archaic approaches? In fact most Nigerians need to be reorientated. The real problem is not age or ignorance, but is the holding on to preconceived ideas passed on to us. Sadly, we can’t give our children what we don’t have. T daveP: someone hyped the plateau united Vs MFM match to me so I had to go check YouTube. I was disappointed.
That off-key commentary was still there, then the officiating. The fans have improved though, in attitude. That red would've gotten a rush from the stands. But then again, after 1-1 and final whistle, the MFM players were jubilating like Asif they were in a CAF final and we're pressed to the end the way Arsenal did to Atletico.....
SMH.
Watched Barça Vs Mamelodi. Although they lost, I was just saying that this team would skin Enyimba anyday if they meet. very technical and tactically aware. I weep for NPFL. tortoise-like progress.
A lecturer of sport science (Shuu that one no course for naija universities?) from SA, wrote an article. Been lecturing for a decade now. He sat and help formulate lots of what the SA league are currently doing and he's less than 35yrs..... Young blood will help us... Even all of us on this thread would change our league in 2years with fast growth.... |

You can tell by just watching a NPFL match on TV.. it's a no brainer. If you have one camera, there are little you can do in terms of different angles and views. daveP: I just discovered that our NPFL have only 1 camera for covering a match compared to EPL's 47 for covering, and 16 for other thing. Or more closely, the South African league that uses 34cameras for match coverage from good angles and replays. pls how true is this? |

madam.. he is young. he will learn by experience. Even wise king Solomon admitted that Proverb 31 wife is rare. I suppose the kind of husband she had was also rare. Even people who say don't focus on looks but what is in a woman's brain, have they ever wondered what real intelligence is? Anyway we no dey church. The same book of proverbs says a woman's charm can be deceptive. Charm can be anything a man looks at in a woman that distracts him from what he should really be focusing on or studying in her. safarigirl: of course. But some things are too obvious not to know the motive. Just like there is a lot more to love and like in a man aside his wallet, but if you saw a young and pretty woman with an old, ugly man, would you think she liked him for his personality?
When Mikel started dating Olga, I never said a word of it, I understood their relationship to some extent, but this one, with this boy wey him eye too dey chook, I can never regard it. Just another gold digging oyibo with some low self esteem black man that is seeking recognition from the 'superior' race.
