What’s Kayode’s predicament? forgiveness: How come you pay attention to full details of Onyekuru's predicament but you find it hard to do likewise for Kayode?
He is not good enough... He failed in the la liga...etcetera are the only things that comes to mind but Onyekuru is hated by his coach.. the coach doesn't like him...the club doesn't want him to go to the WC and that was the reason the coach benched him though he was fit....etcetera...
As for me I know both players predicament hence the need to balance my judgements but ..na was ooo. |

You learn with a purpose. If it’s stops at the enemy as the target and how evil they are, of what good will it bring? Do you spend generations crying about how you are being held back? Even the thought that u are being held back can enslaven one to just give up, though u can argue it’s a fact. But believing that is more harmful to the mind. I know where u are heading already with the Nigeria talk. But I will cease from deviating the purpose of this thread OMANBALA1: Ok, if you learn history and realize how your people were exploited and how these exploitation has affected your people and brought them to a deplorable state it will afford you the knowledge of the problems at hand and how to correct them. How many Nigerians are actually proud to be Nigerian and if you claim you are proud to be Nigerian I will ask give me a good reason. Nigerians do not know what it means to be Nigerian because it is a foreign creation,a strange identity nobody knows anything about. Maybe this will elucidate my points. |

I don’t argue opinions as regards the Bible. Let’s keep learning more about Jesus. Let me leave u with 2 Corinthians 6:6-7 forgiveness: What is humility?
Is it by claiming you are a sinner though he justified you, sanctified you and call you saints?
Rather the most arrogant man is the man who sees himself differently from the way God sees him.
I didn't call myself saint because I lived as a saint but because I have been made a saint through Jesus and accepted that fact through faith. This is humility.
Why did Chief Priest rent his garment before Jesus was judged to be worthy of crucification? |

If you would read my earlier post again, you’d realize that this is not a discussion to show who knows more about black history in America. I don’t have to spill out my knowledge about it and how I also learned it in the for corners of university and my extensive research and observation of the people. It’s unecessary. The question remains what are you going to do about it? Learning with the right perspective is important. If you learn history with a view to picturing how damned you are and how there is no way out, to what end? I hope this sums it up. OMANBALA1: Joebie, my intention was not to spread hate, I am actually a peaceful man until you offends me. Somehow we are saying the same thing and that is that not everything the white man brought was bad but our people has not been able to separate the good from the bad. The idea of education is great but dont give us western education because we are Africans. An example of how you can take an idea from somebody and make something great out of it is history of music in the new world.... The black slaves introduced music to the whites when they(blacks) were still in the plantation...The slaves used musics to console themselves and sing away their sorrows and then it was just blues, then rock and jazz and pop and country and hiphop...The Black American brought music to the new world and the whites learned it and today they(whites) not only control but dominate the industry.
So, I am not a hate monger but our people need to get the full gist about what the whites did,no sugarcoating and that doesnt make me hateful person. If we as Africans dont realize the our full identity then we will always be inferiors to other race of people. |

Understanding Jesus’ example of humility etc is hard for many Christians, ironically. Modified I’m sure you have read the Bible extensively. Did Jesus ever call himself God, although he was accused of doing so? forgiveness: Then, why are you searching for what is not?
Call me so called saint? What about if I am holy, what will you call me?
My friend, 'unto the church of God which is at Corinthian.. to them that are holy...called to be Saints..' Who was Paul addressing as Saints in that quotation in 1corin 1:2?
If you want to know I can teach you. |

Show me a system that is clean. I’m not surprised this is coming from someone who calls himself a saint. Even Jesus Christ said only the Father is good. forgiveness: What triggers question?
You are trying hard to bring clean thing from unclean.
I can differentiate btw trying to bring clean from unclean and seeing seeing positive in weakness. Two different things. |

I tell you the truth black Americans have had these kind of lessons at the homefront for generations now. How has it helped them? The history of man is about conquests and kingdoms. Hatred of whites will not help our cause going forward. History should be taught with an analytical approach. What could we have done differently? Are we still under the influence of our past colonial masters? If so, in what ways? Hiw are they keeping us in check. How can we break away from that in the most clever way possible? How can we instill new values in our society with the aim of rewriting history? Teaching ourselves to hate whites will enslave our minds even more. Hatred itself is draining and hinders innovation. The only way we can beat them is to use them. You can’t achieve this by wearing the cap of hatred. We must think how we can be better, not how we can be like them. For many of us, this is a tall order, and that’s because we are still slaves mentally. OMANBALA1: Oga , I dont have a domineering attitude I just feel there are things nobody should teach or remind you. The whites came to Africa to steal, destroy ,ruin, exploit and wipe you off the face of the earth and this need to be taught in our schools...Every African need to know this moving forward ,they(whites) are not your friend and they dont pretend about it rather you are the one romancing them. They take what is good in you and leave but you swallow everything they feed you and latch unto them. Not everything the white brought was bad but we have to be smart enough to identify the ones that can benefit us. |

How about Keshi and Okala? You are as good as the people you have around you. If u can do it all, then what’s the need for assistants. Siasia has had more spells as coach with Kalika than without him. Please can u tell us more about Mutiu’s successes as a coach. forgiveness: Compare Siasia's brand of play with and without Kalika. So, obviously different.
Siasia's most successful career was with Kalika. Fact.
I was number one supporter of Siasia to get the SE job on kickoff Nigeria and also one of those who vehemently kicked against his sack. So. I know what I am talking about.
I will rather take John Obuh as assistant of the super eagles or Garba, Mutui or Salako ahead of Siasia and Amuneke. Gbam.
Amuneke to me is an agent coach and his tiki taka style is one way traffic. You can't compare it with Guardiola's style. |

Sir, why do u think Uzoho kept for 90 mins in both Serbia and poland friendlies? Our minders know that he needs that kind of exposure so he is not overwhelmed by the pressure of playing in the WC. Same reason why the newly appointed GK trainer have been working with him closely. Same reason why Rohr has been pulling strings to ensure Uzoho gets training time with Deportivo main team. Yes we have a problem in our hands. But I think we have been taking the best measures to solving it. Hence, let’s be hopeful and throw our weights behind our anointed #1 goalie. It will go well. Funnily, I’m a little scared that our forwards will not take their chances whe it matters most. Mujtahida: In a competitive game the stakes will be higher, the pressures more intense. Being confident and assured is not for the first half or second half of the game ooo. An outfield player may have switch on and off moments (that too can prove very costly) but for a gk it would lead to pure disaster.
Perhaps the reason Uzoho was calm against Argentina was because the damage had already been done by Akpeyi. In that kind of scenario you'd say to yourself 'well, it cant be worse than this'. But in the friendlies he felt the raw heat that comes with carrying on one's shoulders the hope of a whole nation. I know it's not easy but hmmm no excuses will be tolerated at the WC ooo. Uzoho will either become a hero or a villain. |

First of all, how many of their players would be flying in from overseas? And even if ALL their players would be flying in from overseas, what about the officials, supporters club, and other contingents that would come with them .... would they all be flying in from abroad as well?? Remember, it only takes ONE infected individual to infect others!
This is how these people put our country at risk. I bet you that some people would be making money from this game, that's why they'd insist that it goes ahead.

wetin be send off? buhari no fit skype them? We always like to make everything a ceremony. e remain to declare national holiday to send off the team to Russia. Icon79: Exactly. And we don't even need this friendly match, IMHO. The boys just concluded a very long season, we should give them a couple of weeks to recuperate then the team should camp in London (or somewhere in Europe); play all our friendly games in Europe and proceed to Russia from there.
All this idea of playing a game in Nigeria so they'd get a proper "send off" doesn't make a lot of sense to me. After all, in 2014 we went to Brazil directly from the United States.
