Denmark 2nd division. He has to be the top scorer oh. Let's base our call for players that are really performing. junnyjake: That Brazilian - Nigerian, I happen to stumble on some of his YouTube video.
This is my verdict.
He plays in a shitty league.
Against shitty defenders, that would afford you the amount of space and time to do whatever the hell you want.
He's also up against whack GKs too.
So until he moves to a better league, hopefully everton and he's able to do what lukaku did for them, then I'd spearhead the charge to invite him. Until then..... |

Leave the management matter to the coach. Rohr set conditions for Enyeama's recall. my brother let me tell you this from my heart. I don't even believe that even if Martins is called up he will make the train to Russia. But my point remains, don't discriminate based on age, place of birth, home grown vs foreign grown, light skinned vs dark skinned etc. There was never fear of power dynamics as regards Enyeama. I want to think Rohr had long started talks with Enyeama before Ikeme fell ill. All those fears na our own fears. Rohr is the manager. Let him do his job. Mujtahida: It's not a matter of doing better than the new guys. I am sure if you bring Jay he will still perform well. Yes! But their time is past. And it's not just for footballing reasons. You know where Martins was in SE before Mikel joined. Mikel is captain, everybody looks up to him. Don't upset that dynamic by bringing an old blood. The same fear of power dynamics have dogged Enyeama's recall but truly if not for Ikeme's leukaemia I don't think I'd so much as whisper Enyeama's name. |

You now believe in Ighalo abi? It only takes one match to either break our heart or mend it. Mujtahida: I agree with merit but at the same time merit among the new crop. Seriously even if Martins(and before I am accused of hate, just know I like obagoal) is scoring 100 goals per season I'd really not want to see him in Russia. We clamoured for him and Keshi gave him an opportunity and his performance was ineffectual. There's nothing he is doing so special that Ighalo or Iheanacho cannot do. But that's even beside the point. He's done his time. Let him rest. |

My brother, that's a puzzle oh.. U20? not 20 year old or a little older? I will figure out who that player is if that's what he really said. junnyjake: Rorh, once hinted in an interview that there'd be one German U-20 player who'd be switching.
Could he be the one?? We were all Focused on Jordan. |

If not for Ighalo's performance against Cameroon, we will be saying the same thing about him. Well, Ighalo has better stats than Martins in the Super League, although the former has clocked more time. IMO I think we have to see what the likes of Onuachu, Dessers, Kayode, and even Tammy can bring. If any of these come well, then there should not be much talk about the oldies. The guys we are clamoring for still have to prove themselves in SE colors. So saying they will do better than the oldies is quite premature. Mujtahida: Guy forget about the recall of Martins and co. It's going to be counter productive. I'd rather an Onyekuru be drafted in, even a Tammy or Dessers or Onuachu than Martins. We've seen them before. At least I know Martins is not Rashidi even if he might be painting Chinese league red with goals. Ighalo is doing that almost every week. We don't need Martins or Osaze. Let's move forward abeg and stop trying to color the future with paint from the past. We have newer beautiful colors I am hungry to see. |

Na u just dey fear. There is no guarantee they would even bench the young ones. And there is no guarantee that even if the young ones went to Russia they won't act like Martins and co did. Rohr should pick on merit. And let's stop talking about Osaze. Among the oldies, who is still in form? Mujtahida: If those guys go to the World Cup it is finished for us. We will perform like 2002, 2010, 2014 for those were their World Cups and they stamped their below par performance on it even though they were young then. These guys are old, they won't lift us up. They will drag us down the senile path of their aging football. If not for Ikeme's leukaemia I don't think I'd even mention Enyeama. Martins and co will not do us any good. Not like we've not seen them before. What's in Martins and Osaze to hanker after that this new guys cannot give us? So we should take them so that those who should go to Russia now among the young ones and increase the number of experienced players for Qatar 2022 will be dropped and lose the opportunity. No way. |

The bolded is the only thing I can pick from this story. I will have to do further research to verify the Nigerian allegiance claim. ChrisKels: Rohr On Alert: Bundesliga Teen Deji Of Eintracht Frankfurt Shuns Germany For Nigeria
Highly rated Eintracht Frankfurt 18 year old left full back Beyreuther Deji-Ousman has revealed his desire to play for Nigeria ahead of Germany, the land of his birth. Beyreuther has made the bench for Eintracht Frankfurt in some games in the Bundesliga this season, and the player who declared his intention to play for Nigeria ahead of Germany last year is still keen on a chance with the Super Eagles. He made his intention to play for one of the junior teams of Nigerian known to David Doherty two years ago when he was 17 year old and progressing through the ranks at FSV Frankurt before his move to Eintracht Frankfurt in January. This season he has moved he has moved from strength to strength and he is presently one of the most highly rated teen left back at the club, with his form earning him a rise to the first team from the U19 in just a week. DONT MISS ==> Leicester City Ahmed Musa Links With Hull City Explained Speaking on his rise to the first team, the left full back who says his style of play is similar to David Alaba of Bayern Munich also revealed he shares same Nigerian identity with the captain of the national team of Austria. ” I like the playing style of David Alaba, and we both have a Nigerian father”, he told Spieledb.eintracht.de, a comparison which sits as they both have same body size. Known for his pace and dead ball abilities, the defender who is yet to be capped by Germany at youth level said he is working on his right foot in his bid to become an all rounder.

lol Firstly it was Sennenger who declared. We dey see like that sometimes. Dessers also did. Otigba as well. But i've noticed from history that we are always slow with players who declare their allegiance to Nigeria, without any effort from us. Hopefully it won't be in the case of Rohr. I think I read that Rohr will be given 2 year extension regardless of how we perform in Russia. I have to check that story again. I'm sure Rohr will be keeping watch on some players, for life after Russia. Humility017: don't be surpised he will win the heart of rohr via camp....just joking though...
let's see how things go....but his dad should contact rohr...the lad being a German will make things easy for him... |

I personally said we should not make further moves as regards Tammy as there was nothing more to do. Pinnick already set the ball rolling. Pinnick had met with his agent and dad. Now that's a top level meeting, not play play like Tammy was suggesting to the press, just cooling things down. So it's not a matter of leaving Tammy alone. Is a matter of how quick the switch they are with the process. whenever Tammy's switch takes effect he is free to come to the battle. And I'm sure Rohr will give him a chance. I think he and Onuachu are similar however, and if Onuachu comes good for us, Tammy may lose the battle. But first Onuachu needs to get his chance. Let me not jump the gun. Humility017: yeah...I think you're right... reason why I will want us take Paul to the world cup...if he keeps scoring.
with him we won't miss Tammy much... I will want the nff to leave Tammy alone... he should be the one to contact pinnick himself..maybe via his father when he is ready....to play for us.. for now...we should let him be... |

Humility017: so sorry I never noticed that Europe camping..... that will be perfect....hopefully after the world cup..... I do believe Leon balogun success with the super eagles...hopefully we go far in the next world cup....

We've not missed out on Abraham. We never did. Seems you have not been following the latest updates here on that situation. However should Onuachu come really good for us, we MAY not need Abraham eventually even after he switches. I think they are similar players. some people want to fight me now lol Humility017: Paul brings uniqueness into the team..with his height...and the way he manage his long legs...same reason I was clamouring for Abraham....it seems we missed out on the latter so let go wit Paul....

U20 coach Aigbogun should take note. Also, he can always be invited whenever we are camping in Europe to familiarize with the boys for future sake. Humility017: I think we can made do wit aina for now.. meanwhile this young German should be invited to train wit the SE after the world cup...at least to keep him away from Germany....
he should be groomed likely replace elderson in the long run.... what do you think? since ojokolo and his son refuse to have sense |

That's why it's a battle. I've clamored for Paul Onuachu. People may talk about the league he plays bla bla bla. But you know a good player when you see one. ATM for #9, Kayode and Paul should be on the front row to be given a call up IMO. Humility017: how about Paul...? mind you...rohr see nacho as a striker..so whoever gonna come after ighalo and nacho gonna be the 3rd chioce striker... |

Aina can play LB comfortably. You only call it makeshift when we are actually trying to patch him there. That's not the case o Icon79: I agree with you. That's why we're all praying that Aina would be comfortable playing LB because Echiejile would get us badly exposed in Russia.
Problem is, Ola Aina is a natural RB and I don't like people being made to play in makeshift positions, especially in a big tournaments like the world cup.

my point is on what ground do you invite Dessers and co? Are we calling for their invites just based on age, or performance first? Performance has to be the first criteria. And IF their performance stats is not as good as the oldies, then why the bias? You cannot give what you don't have. Let's leave Osaze out of this. It's not like he has been scoring in IndonesiaHumility017: to be honest wit you... this oldies are not even the best...they can't compete with this young and hungry blood... I will rather we invite that far away Brazilian guy than invite Martins and co.... we have Paul, dessers and even kayode... and here some persons are mentioning Martins as if him and osaze can do match kayode in abilities....and moreover playing at the world cup will even profit a player like kayode career than those oldies which also benefit the SE in the long run...
many writing those articles are thinking wayside |

Na just assumption based on the fact that Uzoho played under him as first choice GK. Was the coach quoted as saying anything to that effect?\ Owngoal guesses they hit sometimes, e dey miss other times. ChrisKels: Owngoalnigeria.com is reporting that New Deportivo La Coruna Coach Backs Uzoho To Continue As Number One
The chances of fast rising Nigerian goalkeeper Francis Odinaka Uzoho retaining his spot as first choice goalkeeper of Spanish La-Liga side Deportivo La Coruna won’t be affected following the sacking of coach Pepe Mel. Mel gave Uzoho is first team bow at the club, but he was sacked after their last league game which they lost 1-2 to Girona, and his sacking has lead to talks about Uzoho losing his first choice spot. The club appointed coach of Deportivo B Cristobal Parralo to be in temporary charge until the end of the season, and his appointment will no doubt help Uzoho cement his spot as first choice. Parralo was the coach who signed Uzoho to the club, and recommended him to the first team after just two months with the B team, where he displaced the first choice goalkeeper. A member of the Nigeria U17 team of 2013, Uzoho will no doubt relish the prospect of working with Parralo who once described him as one of the best hands he has worked with at junior level. The 18year old Uzoho will however have a first feel of his spot in the manager’s plan when they take on Las Palmas in back to back game in the Copa Del Rey on Thursday and in the La-Liga on Monday. |

True.. but Messi is a very special player. You know very well that he can make the difference. We also need to worry about keeping him quiet. That's the first priority always for any opposing team. It's not like our forwards will always convert when they have the opportunity. Truidstar: I fully concur with you. My confidence is based on the fact that Argentina's back line is slow and they tend to play a high pressing game when Messi is with the ball. It plays to our counter attacking strength. |

I actually hope we lose the match but don't lose our pride in the process. Sometimes these friendlies can make u feel like you have arrived, when you are actually far from it. Truidstar: On the contrary I am very confident we will beat this Argentinian side based on the way our team is set up to play. The current Super Eagles have a weakness, LONG BALLS!!. Tanzania, South Africa and Zambia (second leg) adopted long ball tactics and we struggled. In the case of South Africa we lost. Any team that passes the ball from the back to the midfield on the attack we do well against because we have one of the most devastating counter attacks in world football. Argentina will come out and play and will be beaten. |

You seem to have forgotten Martins was in the team just before Siasia took over I think. .Wetin he do? He warm bench wella. Ighalo was benching him. All those fear-mongers spreading rumors around. If they (the oldies) are performing, they should be invited. When they show and if they are not good enough, they will still be benched or better yet never get invited again. All those tagging and discrimination. No be turn by turn. The best should always be used. Mujtahida: Hahahaha hahahaha but I read your exchange with one guy on the Algerian match thread where you said any Nigerian whether he's old or young (you in fact mentioned Defoe) should have the opportunity and I was like is this safarigirl or a clone.
Truly if Martins comes things will spoil. Those guys will trigger something that will jeopardise team spirit. I don't want to hear Ma not to talk of Tins. Of the old lot only Enyeama should be recalled and even that is now looking unlikely cos it seems Enyeama has enemies in that NFF.
