inasmuch as Israels use of force in areas of dense civilian population is condemnable, I am yet to see anyone anywhere including these footballers, political leaders or the UN call on Hamas to release the Israeli hostages that were taken on october 7. if releasing these hostages will end the siege and suffering of ordinary Palestinians and Gazans, why is no one asking Hamas to release the hostages?
