OLD THREAD RESURRECTION. E TUN TI DE O. Well the women have several reasons for that. 1. They do not want their boobs to brush the back of the driver while driving, especially on rough roads. 2. They are wearing free-flowing clothes like gown / robes etc and will make it difficult to climb the seat. 3. They do not want their panties to flash when trying to climb the seat. 4. They feel its safer to jump off the bike in the event of a collision or accident. |

When we call nigeria a zoo, we have every reason to. In a true country, first of all, there would have been weather forecasts of a dangerous heatwave and the zones already specified. Then the govt would have provided methods to safeguard yourselves against it. - Cooling centers would have been provided already. In advanced countries like Canada, USA, they experience deadly heatwaves too. Your car can effectively become your cooling center, or your house. But most public spaces like libraries and community centers with reliable air condition systems are effectively cooling centers. - Functional water systems can encourage locals to take regular baths. - Education to the locals and good network for real time display of temperature / humidity details and label worse-off potential zones. - Enable special hotlines to alert and prevent danger and victims. - Declare public holidays if possible. But the stupidity of somd of these nigerians amazes; you'd see the locals hailing and fighting for their oppressors. For others, its religion that full their dummy head. Stupid fools. I heard one viral note during the elections that all that concerns the mofos is muslim-muslim ticket. That their agenda is not for good roads or improvement of facilities but to further the agenda of islam. Since that day I swear, to rate black people just hard me. Especially the idiots wey carry religion ontop. I just always hope that I can have a country without them... even if that country is just 50 sqkm in territory size. It is better to live in a small island with sensible "islanders" than to have a vast territory with black religious dumbos. There is no going-ahead. Their backwardness will be like an anchor to your own progress and state of mind. |

lamentor78:Africa most beautiful campus indeed! If it is the most beautiful campus in the whole of africa, should that not make you worry as a person? The same thing y'all have been saying since the past 50 years, is the same thing you're shamelessly saying today. And it's not like you do not know that there are scarce improvements in the school's glory. So if it still remains the most beautiful campus after decades, with little or no improvements, you inadvertently say Africa is a no-progress continent be that. You see, Im deliberately forgiving you by not even delving into what the hostels look like. Are the hostels beautiful? Angola painted yellow on tiny bungalows that look like prison cells is what you're shouting "Africa's most beautiful campus". Do you want me to talk about block 2 and 3, Awo hall? Or 5 and 6? As I dey look u, u be like person wey go be apc supporter. I swear, ur ideology and bragadoccio no fit see me reason u past apc. Ki oro e pada si e l'enu. Una sha wan make person cast. Ma je n binu tan o. Most beautiful campus my foot! Black people: always raising shoulder over any small thing. Brag brag, brag... let's all sharapp pls, abeg.

The last time I visited this place and comparing with now, it still remains as it is. I don't want to castigate oau because I know they are not that bad when it comes to changes but hey, for the most part, why are we in this part of the world not quite given to change? Something just feels awkward about a so-called open-space theatre used as class room (with no walls). Any sounds outside, you'll hear. The horns of buses and motorbicycles, you'll hear and even see. Chit-chat from passengers, hawkers, students around the vicinity, you'll hear. How do you even focus fully? Those "seats" are cement seats. Incredible. Yet the architecture of the place is quite good. On the one hand it makes you want to criticise, on the other hand you feel restrained not to go overboard with it. With a board that far though, do they just assume every student will all have eagle-vision to see writings / diagrams on the board? Hope they've begun to consistently use good microphones. I say "consistently" because sometimes, from outside you'll hear one gen sound go off, and the lecturer just continues with his lectures without no mic. Jesu, where person go start from? |
Nahunger:That is the problem. And they will absolutely see no shame in it. They will be raising shoulder ontop what they haven't produced. That is if the nigerians even exist till 3049. |
"He's not british". That's very correct. |
Blitzerz:Eehya. Maybe that were your own ancestors in your clan. Such a pity. |
The bastard omokri wont say anything |
Blitzerz:Our forefathers were free people before d contact of d europeans. How dare u define freedom for the black race in conjunction with a mere religion that came here just 200 yrs ago? Do u know how inane that is?? |
Stupid emir |
ZUKKYY:Whoa. 😳 What a badge of honour!! ![]() |

grandstar:Read your link. Interesting. Hmmn you have said it all. I don't think it's obvious that I don't believe in God though. My only argument is there's no hard proof. So people that talk with conviction, I wonder where they get it from. I think what I mainly said was to consider the thought of dying and never having to resurrect. It's not too much of a hard stance to come to terms with. The reason being that animals, the ones humans tend to call "lower", all live and die like the same humans. But in most beliefs, humans tend to feel very okay and comfortable with the animals dying and never resurrecting. Once they die, they're dead. No spirit; no soul. Nothing. When they are living, they have life just like the same humans. But when they're dead and gone, why does the human case suddenly become different? Don't you think it's out of a selfish and fantastic imagination to escape what may be the ugly truth? Anyways, as for the "intelligent design" you talk about, I tend to not vibe with this as a convincing argument. When people say "See the earth na, see the sun, moon, stars etc"... "It can only be a God behind it". To me that makes the logic even worse because if you say the arrangement of these celestial bodies and the life in it is a pointer to a magnificent creator... by applying that same logic, it means the magnificence of that creator can only be a pointer to an even more magnificent creator. This then creates an endless loop of awe. I really dont know why believers are so comfortable stopping at the first loop, then shutting their brains. If you believe the green earth and blue skies awe point to an awesome creator, then me I would step in and say the magnificence of this so-called creator can only be a pointer to a greater creator. The creator of that creator is my own bone of contention. |
hammer567:It's painful, I know. But let's not pass harsh judgment on the dead. From the narrative, he was a victim in this case. Granted, he may have misjudged some things that may probably have kept him alive today but hey, even we alive today have misjudged some things too, sometimes even worse, yet we are alive today still. |
hammer567: |
GenghisCan:Nope |
