TV/MoviesRe: Gulder Ultimate Search Vs Big Brother Africa. by joeekuns(m): 8:57pm On Oct 25, 2013
tellwisdom: only poor people apply for those shitty programs. Walking and sleeping in the bush for months just cos of peanut, not even enuff to buy me my choice of drinks. sad # spits undecided
Have you heard of "SURVIVOR"? It's an american version of GUS and it is one of the most popular tv programmes over there. People who go for the show are not poor neither are they nobodys so it is here too. So forget your notion and focus on the entertainment.
Music/RadioRe: What Does Your Taste In Music Say About Your Intelligence? by joeekuns(m): 7:51pm On Oct 23, 2013
bknight: Rather its the IQ that determines what kind of music one listens to, I think.

A man's higher IQ may lead him to listen to Ebenezer Obey. A man with lower IQ might consider the lyrics/thoughts in the lyrics dull, so he opts for Obesere.

Well, intelligent or not we all have right to live and enjoy life through music, so to each his own. Intelligence doesn't guarantee u 100yrs on earth

[quote author=vivacious
vivi]I have heard this argument before. Some
pals of mine were arguing about Jazz and
Hip Hop and its possible effects on one's
intelligence quotient. I beg to differ here
simple because I don't really like
generalizations and also because
population samples taken for Studies
such as these are most times, flawed.
Nevertheless, the facts seem to show it
but I still disagree.undecided
I tend to agree with this people because generalization does not really get answers. The kind of music you listen to does not determine your IQ rather it determines your mood. I used to have a friend back in school days who loved listening to blues most especially one by Celine Dion but she wasn't bright at all, so i beg to disagree.
CelebritiesRe: Van Vicker Celebrates 10 Years Wedding Anniversary With Family In Dubai (Photos) by joeekuns(m): 9:11am On Oct 21, 2013
LesbianBoy: His wife is too muscular and UGLY......jeez!!! I wonder what ('pick-up') van vicker saw in her angry
Ahan bros you should be celebrating then na....is it easy to keep a gf for 9yrs and then marry that same girl for 10yrs. Don't be a persimist abeg and besides beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Fine + Fine usually doesn't work out most times (like terms repel while unlike terms attract)
Music/RadioRe: Which Nigerian Musician Has The Best Stage Performance? by joeekuns(m): 7:15am On Oct 20, 2013
jeffoski: Well am really happy that some nigerian artist are now performing live and showing how professional they are in terms of delivery and showmanship. It really separate them from those who sing to dia C.Ds and sound really weird. Not many of them are able to manage their bands and u tend to here flops here and there and den dey depend on d popularity of dia song. Based on so many shows have attended I will say the best are

Femi Kuti
2face
Lagbaja
Omawunmi
Waje
Asa
Sammie okposo
Dare

This set are really professionals in terms of vocal dexterity, synergy with dia band, stage presence, showmanship, beautiful harmony from their backup singers and d way they remix dia songs on stage too.
You're right on point....i agree with your selection 100% but i think Faze and banky could be added to the list as well, they are really good.

RomanceRe: Ladies Can U Date A Guy Wit No Job!!! by joeekuns(m): 10:51am On Oct 18, 2013
Ogbakolo: u must be an urgly girl beautiful girls dnt date guys dat has no job, step up ur games and continue to be a proper Nigerian girl . prostitute
First of all it's immature of you to speak to a lady like that(calling her a prostitue),
Secondly everybody has a right to their own opinion of which she stated hers.
Thirdly are you trying to say Nigerian girls are bimbos(beauty without brain) not to be able to discern a guy with a promising future enough to date him even when he has no job/money at presenthuh

Sermwell: Wat kinda topic is dis? How was he mobbed? Well, kudos 2 him!
Well thought so myself till i checked the real meaning of mobbed.....
Mob: verb, past tense-past participle - [mobbed] - (of a crowd) to surround and push about in a disorderly way : The singer was mobbed by a huge crowd of his fans.
So he's right on point

FamilyRe: Bullying Make African Kids Stronger But Kills The American Kids: Why by joeekuns(m): 11:55pm On Oct 17, 2013
demelza: Bullying is not new to the african child. Right from birth, they have been bullied in all manner of ways by their parents under the guise of discipline.
No bullying that a child receives outside can be compared to the one he faces inside his house from his parents which is why things like this dont faze us.
Besides bullying na turn by turn. You do your worst now, when my time reach I do my own. God no go vex.
I support you...the discipline we get from home does prepare us for things outside and that's where the american child misses out cos it's against their law to physically discipline a child and now the ill effect is evident in their lives whereby a kid has no respect for his elders and can literarily walk out on you, scream at you and even leave the house with the parent being unable to do anything.
FamilyRe: Bullying Make African Kids Stronger But Kills The American Kids: Why by joeekuns(m): 11:47pm On Oct 17, 2013

TravelRe: Pilots Were Arguing Before Agagu's Plane Crashed - Blackbox by joeekuns(m): 1:53am On Oct 12, 2013
proO1: Thank you very much. Some of these bumpkins really make me sick. They purport to be Christians/Muslims and readily quote verses in the Bible/Qur'an when it suits them, yet they still rant against something that should.be considered a truism based on the scriptures of the religious faith they profess.

Every religion emphasises the inevitability of God's will. Indeed, every religion recognises that God gives and God takes. Death comes when it will, because that is how God ordained it to be. No amount of regulation can prevent human error or accidents from happening.. That is exactly what Stella Oduah meant.

Even the supposedly "unsinkable" Titanic sank. That pretty much explains everything - from a philosophical perspective.
Actually i disagree with you....God knows and allows it to happen does not mean it's his will, because in the holy book he told us that his thoughts towards us are of good (in the case of job). So if God wanted to kill one man and his children are there he would devise another means.
