I appreciate and applaud all those who have contributed to this thread. In as much as we are taking some steps, I want ask what the modus operandi of this revolution will be but I can see its gonna be only an ideological revolution.
I might be wrong but I have reasons to believe that a Violent revolution is the most effective way to save Nigeria. This might be extreme and quite radical but I think there has to be bloodshed. Some of these politicians and elites need to be eliminated or exiled which will set an example for the others to follow and learn that Nigerians should not be taken for granted and thus whatever we request for will be granted very fast. I commend everyone here for their input.

I seriously support you in that ideology which has made Ghana a better place today but the question is how do we go about it since we are no longer in the military era...democracy in Nigeria covers those evil politicians.

My broda Osama was not in the US neither was he anywhere close and besides after his attack he never ventured into America again. These BokoHaram people are wrecking havoc on Nigeria...after multiple minor attacks they've brazened up and now conduct openly massive attacks which has claimed scores of lives. My dear friend i would love to ask you a question....did you or do you school in Nigeria? If yes then am guessing you know the state of our schools here in Nigeria. I schooled in FUTA and i can tell you as at the time i was still there things weren't very pleasant. Imagine you having a 7am lecture in 100L and you're using a small LT, having to do practicals with practically nothing.....now that is for a federal school. These are just tips of the iceberg cos if you're sincere with yourself then you know that worse things happen in Nigerian schools and we're not even talking of the value of our certificate outside Nigeria....so why not suffer now for the greater good. If ASUU are not rigid and firm with their decision we will be back here again in the next 5-10 years debating the same issues. Do you know what happened in Ghana during general Rawlings regime? Only violent ones taketh it by force.

I sincerely disagree with you because 419 and 666 are not the same numbers and if it was the former that had been assigned to her she would have gladly accepted it....if you're a christian you would know that the number 666 holds a strong meaning and even has an effect on the bearer. It is clearly stated in the bible that it is marked on either the fore head or the right hand of a person, that is why many people in the US rejected the obama care of a thing because the micro chip was to be embedded either on the fore head or right hand of the patient. As for your friend who was given the number as an admission number i believe he/she could have appealled to a religious HOD or someone of great influence.

@OP: I respect your being calm and collect even after all the criticism but the truth about this life is your approach (and activity/employ status), your manner of approach matters alot. Truth be told no man right now likes a lazy woman(all men are looking for independent ladies) so the main question is are you independent? If you are and probably in a little bit of crisis then you need not ask before he supports you, because when there is true love between the both of you then you do things for each other. If you're of the concept that he has sex with you so he needs to pay your rent then that means you do not love him(when there is love in sex it's called love making) then that would mean you need to re-evaluate your relationship...that would also mean studying your guy to know if he's the caring type (cos some guys are not just caring).

@OP: Chief you should know that it's comedy and 45-55% of Nigerian movies are done in pidgin or bad english. Now in the US the reason why there is slang is because the illiterate blacks could not speak exactly like the white men so they had to improvise to suit them, so it is here as well. The illiterates and unlearned citizens improvised with pidgin and bad english to suit themselves and personally i believe it is the duty of the parents to either correct their children when they speak bad english or stop them from watching such movies. Basically when a child has been instilled with good english it's difficult to deviate.

Bro sometimes mileage matter a lot but it also depends on the brand of car e.g M.Bz, Nissan, BMW. The aforementioned brands doesn't matter for mileage cos their engines are really strong and built to withstand Nigerian roads. But for the brand you mentioned i wouldn't advise you to go for it except you are ready to request the professional advise and check up of a certified auto engineer to check the status of the engine.

That's very funny....but seriously though we africans love to copy the western world and you really can't blame us since they colonised us and they are way ahead of us in technology. Imagine african movie industries trying to mimick the white's love making roles in their films (to me that's totally eeeeeewwwwww).
