Education / Re: Industrial Chemistry Vs Chemical Engineering by JoeGaruba: 4:48am On Oct 19, 2010
I think Mechanical Engineering is the best option. However, you asked about Industrial chemistry or Chem Engrg. I'm inclined to say Chem Engrg. gives you a wider variety of choices of potential job choices. Mainly because it has more application to process/ process engineering. There is no industry, industrial/chemical/ especially petroleum/mechanical that does not follow a process.

Most importantly, many posters have said it. Get your grades up and the sky is the limit. It might be important to find people who are both and see if their work life is something you will like. Some courses sound gengen but the workload may not be right for you. Be sure you get a personality match. Ask many bankers or engineers who are bankers now, some of them may have a job they hate.

Good luck

Ponzi schemer! Why dont you get a real business plan and make something out of it.

This is not the solution we need to empower our people.

Do be careful that you are not charged for treason for this nonsense.

Chelscum failed against decent opposition. Arab money has taken over. No team has shown the grit too win the title more than chelscum but in the end, they may fail.

Thanks to Newcastle for demystifying the Blues.

Glory glory Man United !

Designate before you celebrate.

Cant these celebs hire drivers or have friends who would not be drinking?

Having a designated driver when you want to go clubbing might be the way to go.

Blah blah blah

I guess those advocating gay rights under the guise of it being between two consenting adults will have no problem when parents decide to have relationships kids with their (own) grown children. We are already that desensitized.

Homosexuality is sick and those advocating it are sick.

I have noticed a trend on nairaland.
if you start a thread and some people
condemn it, all others will join the bandwagon.
such cowardice really beats me.

Everybody is hating but what is wrong with a
Nigerian being elected into a Catholic body?
After all there is no single religious body in the world
that has reached out in terms of charity and other humanitarian
services like the Catholic church.

what you should rather say is for him to make sure Nigerians and
indeed Africa benefit from the goodies of the Church has to spread around.

HATERS, get a MIND EACH and EVERYONE of YOU!

Well said bro. Mob mentality is the bane of this forum. Mindless lot cannot appreciate the achievement of others.

Meanwhile, its not necessary to comment but out of sheer stupidity, many join the fray.

You claim not to be a Nigerian but you spend a great amount of your time on a Nigerian website arguing with Nigerians. I am sure that there are Biafran sites that you can go to, to rub minds with fellow biafrans. Your smug condescending attitude may cower some but it will not cower me.

Well Said! Meanwhile, I hate yam but I love pounded yam  grin

Its amazing how we can get riled by speculations and things we have little control over.

All the idle recrimination and intellectual bigotry on this thread and many others is proving IBB right about the Youth and leadership qualities.

These are the stuff we should look forward to @ NASS in the coming years since it will be this generation in power eventually.

Why cant divergent views be expressed in a civil manner? If Ojuku wants to support Abacha/IBB he has the right to. We forget he has just one vote and the rest of us are able to make our individual choice as we deem fit. IBB is not credible by and stretch of the imagination but as long as there is no written law that bars him or criminal conviction to disqualify him, he will be a legitimate candidate.

IMO, the discussion should be on how to stop these dead woods from recycling themselves in power or planting cronies. Just like the TEA party is having a say in America, we should have a say too. To do nothing or just quarrel on NL is to rubber stamp the status quo.

Its club finances that rules them out. (UEFA rules) Their problems began after they won the FA cup in 2008 and racked up a bundle competing in the following season's UEFA cup.

Even Steve Wonder saw that Chelskums second goal at OT was offside. The ref and linesman were both relegated to championship games the week after. If not for poor performance, why? Lets stop calling a spade a soil redistribution equipment. Its not over yet!
