May God bless you relentlessly. I am equally facing almost similar situation where a colleague who's into scamming or getting money illegitimately shows me his bank alert virtually every day. He's even cajoling me into the "business". I must confess that it's very tempting, considering the fact that I am a family man(with a lot of financial burden). But I thank God for being a child of God. I stopped him from showing me his bank alert and would rather go hungry than ask him for money. Devil is really trying to win a lot of souls this end time. Indeed, "godliness with contentment is a great gain" May His grace keep us going.

I find it rather insultive on some of us who are good men when ladies make this assertion that men are cheat and not to be trusted. I have been married for eleven years and even though there are altercations which exist in marriage occasionally, I have never slept with any woman aside my wife. Of course I see beautiful young girls/ladies everywhere, some even make passes ( I must confess that I am a handsome guy) but I remain steadfast in my marriage. Please not all men are untrustworthy, few of us are loyal.
Education / Re: Private School Teachers Are Currently Benefiting From The Closure Of Schools. by joek(m): 8:54am On May 21, 2020
THE PRIVATE SCHOOL TEACHERS MUST HAVE THEIR PALLIATIVES .....................................
GOVT MUST GIVE PALLIATIVES, HARDSHIP SUPPLEMENT, COVID-19 SUPPORT AND RELIEFS TO TEACHERS AT THE PRIVATE SCHOOLS......

On the increasing cases of COVID-19, Dr Owolabi was asked on this show to explain how private school teachers have been coping.

In no time, hell was let loose into this topic.
THEY ARE ALMOST REGRETTING BEING TEACHERS
THEY ARE DISILLUSIONED
THEY ARE DEPRESSED
THEY ARE WORRIED
THEY ARE DOWNCAST
THEY ARE DROWNED
THEY ARE WEARY
THEY ARE HOPELESS
THEY ARE DISPARAGED
THEY ARE DEFORMED
THEY ARE LOST
THEY ARE LOOSING STEAM, THEY ARE ALMOST REGRETTING BEING PRIVATE SCHOOL TEACHERS, no pension and no salaries. What a world of hopelessness

These teachers are Nigerians, they are our citizens.
They are our brothers and sisters.
They are tax payers by all standards
They are those who chose the growth of our children.
They are our men and women who go to the same market with the rest of us.
They are those who have made schooling much more easier.

Remember, since the LOCKDOWN or STAY-AT-HOME they had remained at home like the rest of us.
They stopped collecting salaries since March 2020
They cannot go around doing their any private lesson.
They cannot organise their own private online, it is expensive
They cannot go to different homes, it is too risky to do that
They cannot find any one other job to do, it is not the best time to invest.

They must be assisted by govts-federal, state, local and even corporate bodies.

Every other businesses are getting back, the traders, the hawkers, the nurses, doctors, drivers, food sellers, ministry officials and others.
But, the teachers are not in the list and have remained the least to be considered to resume work.

STIPEND, OR CALL IT TOKEN will not be a bad idea for the teachers all the country.
The public school teachers, we know will receive their salaries, this is because they are paid from budgetary allocation of the federal, state or local govt.
Even if the lockdown stays for months, the public school teachers will continually get paid. Not so for the private school teachers whose remuneration is consequent upon school fees.

It is not too much to help them. It is not an extravagance to assist them and it is not too bad and idea to extend a hand of fellowship to this set of Nigerians who have helped the public school, who have helped the country.

At hyfield we always imagine the situation of education in their absence.
In their absence-
Admission into public primary schools will be war
Admission into secondary schools will be a tall order
So many children today, will not go beyond primary school
Schools will be a place for the rich alone
Books would be used and re-used over and again
Those working at public schools would be demi-gods
Several children will be aged and still be looking for secondary or primary school admission.
And many more catastrophies that will be experienced.

Govt knows how to allocate so much money to buy cars, furnitures, and dresses for our honorables
Govt knows how throw money during election campaigns and elections
Govt knows how to change the fleet of cars for the traditional rulers and send money to the houses of worship.

The govt knows ways used to settle area boys and street urchins
They know how they share their pack of rice to the women and men who hover round them.

They must know how to help these helpless teachers, these people who chose the future of our children ahead of other professions, these teachers who agreed to grow our nation.

However little there must be a help
They must get their own share of palliatives
They must be given their own lockdown supplement

IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO AVOID
Braindrain
Teacher scarcity
Lack of interest in the job
Disinterest in the profession at private level
Seing the job at the private level as being cursed

IT IS DOABLE & POSSIBLE
Where is the Abacha loot?
Where is the forfeited Dizzeani money?
Where are those money hidden in the various soakaway pits?

Hyfield will be ready to help govt, we will be ready to help you reach the schools, get the teachers and have the token distributed.

This is the only time our education will count
This is the only time our nation will remain blessed
This is WHAT EDUCATION MEANS

I hope covid19 has not put unnecessary pressure on your man. Me as a man, I am frustrated now because salary of April wasn't paid to me and I have 3kids. If truly you are hypertensive, please I beg you in the name of God, apologise to him so that you can get your sanity back. You need a peaceful mind and heart to avoid stories that touch. You need to be alive to take care of your children. I pray that God touches him and changes him for the better. Cheers.

Another one; we lost if the Christian sisters in my fellowship in the village many years ago. One of her brothers said he believed it was not God's will that she should die prematurely. We were then encouraged to go to the burial ground in the night secretly(because it was Anglican cemetery) to pray and bring her back to life. We got there around 12 am. We digged out the corpse and opened the coffin. We couldn't turn on our Torchlight because we didn't want the security to know we were there. We prayed, spoke in tongues and one of the brothers lay on the corpse to command life into it but it was all futile. After all the prayers, we now agreed that it was the will of God to take her away. After many months, I would still perceive the embalment perfume from the corpse. I would pray that God should take away the unusual smell and finally He did it. I can never believe I participated in this scary activity.

Mine was when I was in primary 6 or JSS1. It was in my village. I went to farm with my father. While coming back home, there is a stream with bridge that we normally cross. My father was in front already and I was following him. I wanted to drink water from the stream and I saw a being like human, coming out under the bridge, beckoning at me me to come. The face looked non human. I quickened my steps and abandoned my intention of drinking water. Till today I am still wondering the mission/ intention of the being.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: How To Get A High Paying Job In 4 Months In Nigeria by joek(m): 2:28pm On May 05, 2020
When I say I will show you how to get a job in 4 months, I literally mean 4 months! But the fact is that the mindset must start from you. How must it start?

They basically lied to us that all we needed was going to school, become an Engineer, and get a job that makes us a millionaire. The end result is seeing Engineers becoming marketers in the banks or cashiers.

Others who aren’t so lucky are still searching for a good job to survive until this point in time. The ones who have a job are mostly earning less than 50k Naira monthly. This is bad and you can’t achieve anything tangible with that amount.

In the coming months, inflation would increase; what are your plans to deal with that?

I will show you how you can get a good job in 4 months. It has worked for almost everyone who applied the same steps. You want to know how?

How to get a high paying job in 4 months

The secret is that every 4 months (i.e the start of every quarter), most companies recruit people to add up to their staff force. How can you be among those recruited? Let me show you;

Change your mindset

Thinking of getting just any job shouldn’t be your target as a young graduate. You should aim for the best jobs that have a massive salary structure.

Most people come out of school and NYSC, hoping just to get any job to survive. It might be true that there are no many jobs, but there are jobs for qualified people on how to have the skills.

Gain a Lucrative Skill

As funny as it may sound, I will tell you that I have never seen any software developer that is looking for a job in Nigeria.

A female friend of mine graduated with accounting and searched for jobs for 8 months without success. I convinced her to learn Software Development as a side skill. Despite not any knowledge of ICT, she pulled through.

Now she works with a new generation bank and earns more than 350,000 Naira as her monthly income. When she gets promoted, the salary would surely increase.

Looking at the job market in Nigeria, I can only recommend two skills for you;

- Software Development (Java, PHP, Python)
- Mobile Application Development

Any of the above is lucrative and would give you a job within 4 months after learning it.

Rewrite your CV

Now you’ve got a new skill, it is time to flaunt it like no man’s business. You have to use a good format to showcase your new skills and attract employers to your CV.

Add a cover letter to your CV

You can write a cover letter around the new skill you have acquired and the related job role. A cover letter is what explains your skills, capabilities and what you have to offer. There is a standard to write a cover letter, and I have explained that before in this post. So you can read it and get to know the tactics.

Use Legit Job Sites

I would want you to know that so many of the job sites available are filled with scams and non-existent jobs.

There are few job sites to follow, and you can see them where I wrote it by visiting this page.

Doing all of these, I guarantee you that within 4 months, you will get a job. It has been tested, tried, and proven. I wish you all the best in your hustle and life endeavors.

Drop a comment and I will respond to you immediately.

I WILL LIKE TO ASK IF IT IS POSSIBLE TO LEARN SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT IF ONE IS NOT GOOD AT MATHEMATICS.
