....even though I am pro local coach but we need to be careful before handing the job over to an indigenous coach again.

Guess we all have read what Mikel had to say about our African Pep? Una hail am like Pep, Mou and Ancelloti in one body. LOL!

Same Amuneke una dey beg NFF to roll red carpet for and give the job on platter of gold, what has he accomplished that indeed worth celebrating?!

Finidi......?! What qualifies him as right man for the job?! Only local coach I can support is Samson Siaisia but Baba don fΓ»ckup well well. He played good football and had legacies to brag with.

He lost on 2 ocassions to a squad [though not all] that later won World Cup again for the Argentina National Team.

Let finidi proves himself with Enyimba and wins the league first.

Eguavoen and amuneke, couldn’t qualify us for the World Cup. That to me was a horrible indictment of local coaches.

Eguavoen will handle tactics, amuneke will handle the players. Awon buhari and Osinbajo geng. πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

Ehn but he didn't talk about Amuneke now. And yes it was obvious Oliseh was too hot headed. Because how can you explain only him fighting at two different jobs, given the remarkable job he did in Holland only to use ego to bungle everything. I would love to hear Mikel's views om Keshi and Siasia too. I think he liked Siasia though as he bankrolled the U23 Olympic team in the US and that Olympic sort of cost him his place in Chelsea and things went downhill from there.

Also, I think Mikel is a complete gentleman and he had a good rapport with the team as captain. The only thing is, he himself isn't interested in coaching. Hope he gets some training on management and maybe might just be like another Emenalo.

The same amuneke? πŸ˜…πŸ˜…
Una go soon learn.

Thank God this is not only platform to follow Super Eagles eh. LOL!

In 2004, two prolific Strikers, Aiyegbeni and Agali and a legendary leftback Babayaro were expelled from Camp for indiscipline, yet we didn't fail to reach Semi-final and went home with bronze medals.

Odewingie saw an opportunity and grabbed it. Utaka saw an opportunity and didn't shy away from it, guess what - both were Wingers.

Icon4s recently reminded folks here to refresh their memory or at best ask their Elders to tell them stories of Eagles at AFCON, but they would rather keep wailing here. LOL!

If JPes still plays 4 - 4 - 2 formation, absence of Boniface, Iheanacho, Sadiq ain't gonna affect the team. In fact, its an opportunity for Iwobi to play 8, behind Osimhen, flanked by Lukman and Chukwueze plus Onyeka and Oyendika double-pivot.

If Chukwueze head not booting well, bring on Simon to replace him. I do not understand folks here to be honest. Competition starts tomorrow but gnashing of teeth full everywhere day and night.

It’s really funny bro. People are just blowing hot air when the tournament hasn’t even started yet. Everytime , it’s paseiro. What about the clueless players? In football, if you convert your chances , you win the game!!

Pls bring out posts that hailed Eguavoen during last Afcon and mind you Stephen Keshi remain the best after Westerhoff, the records are there to see.

Yes Nigerians will cook Peseiro cuz he is not getting it right but we are not babies here that would not be happy for success of super eagles irrespective of our opinions.

Yes if Peseiro failed some would said we told you and if he perform beyond expectations some would still said we told you, that's the beauty of football.

Do you want to hear fact, most football fans are not happy with Peseiro, not only here but in other social platforms.

I never said Eguavoen got hailed. If it were paseiro that failed to qualify us for the World Cup, his head would have been placed on a pike.

Of course most football fans aren’t happy with the coach but is wailing everyday on this thread going to change anything? Why not you all wait till he fails before wailing and whining? This thread is becoming so irritating.

What if he doesn’t fail? Football remains the most unpredictable game, even for the experts. Even good football pundits, regularly get their pre match analysis of a game totally wrong.

Before the World Cup miss. πŸ˜€
robosky02:

As at today , we have more than enough Qualified Nigerians that are world class in their capacity to lead Nigeria to the world cup
Emmanuel Amunike
Finidi George
Augustine Eguavoen

Imean coaches that know Nigerian pattern of play.....who would have even imaging what Egwavon can do if the opportunity wasn't given him. In less than day

And you can see if it no NFF official is appreciating him....if it was that Portuguese they would have sang his praise.

And I bet you the Portuguese can't do more than this....

After eguavoen failed to qualify us for the World Cup. πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ€ŒπŸ»πŸ€ŒπŸ»πŸ‘‡πŸ»

robosky02:

The Truth is all the blame should go to somebody at NFF
He killed Nigerian football for his ambition
The worse NFF I have seen

We keep shouting.... If you remember give it to Emmanuel Ammunike

At least he is still a practicing coach and a FIFA technical team member

Yet padi padi... Brought Eguaveon.... Can't blame him much he did what he knows...

But we can win nations cup with Eguavoen abi?
robosky02:
With this coach

Nigeria should just forget this AFCON

Till the next edition

If not the Hart break will be with premium tears

Some fans here are just shameless.
There are cooking Peseiro but failed to cook eguaveon for the rubbish he did.
They also hail keshi as the next best thing after sliced bread.
These guys act like the Bruce Lee of Nigerian football but in reality they are suffering from selective amnesia. They truly want Nigeria to fail so they can boastfully say, β€œwe told you so”.

No one says we all behave like that but how I'll a response is.

Not everyone likes my opinion. And thinking everyone should like yours too is funny.

On the internet, there are people of every type. Serious, non-serious, sincere, and just playing too. The opinions and criticisms are given differently.

There are so many people who try to satisfy everyone. There are also people who take everything non-seriously and don’t actually give a rat ass. So it is your own duty to ignore some comments and quote the ones you feel comfortable with.

Everyone is wired differently. And you DO NOT expect someone to change because you DON’T like how he β€œcriticizes” a certain player online. His phone and his time.. Skip his posts if you don't like them.

Do you guys think it's everyone who likes the weird opinions some of you dish out here on a daily?

I wonder why some of y'all live for social media validation.

Lol. This man forever remains my 🐐.

The media, Paul flopgba and most of the ex players of Manchester United are responsible for the club going downhill.

Why don't you give him the benefit of the doubt and believe him. He said because he is Nigerian, he was asked to choose between Salah and Hakimi. And he chose Salah given that he has relationship with Egypt.

Why take the negative view? Is this not a perpetuation of the 'village people' mindset?

Baba, if believe the lie amuneke is spewing then you will believe the earth is flat. There's a video. The question was who do they want to win..

People literally picked Osimhen in that same Video.

He (Amuneke) was actually interviewed by Mimi on CAF platform with El Hadji Diouf and he said Osimhen. Why is that one not trending? Why trend only a snippet of a tiktok video?
What if he was asked to choose between Salah and Hakimi cos the interviewer wants fairness since he knows he will select Osimhen? Agend must agend!
This is why most Nigerians based their voting on emotions rather than deep thinking.
Believing someone can use fake certificate to work as an accountant for exxonmobil! lol

So he was the only one asked a different question? Why were the others picking Osimhen?

I can't get the rationale behind him thinking Salah is going to win it when 80% of Africans including Egyptians knows it's btw Osimhen and Hakimi..

Trying to defend him makes it even funnier. Agenda must truly agend.

Meanwhile, this is sports section. I believe there’s a section for politics.

Also you sugarcoating Nwakali’s issue so far is a no no to me. This is a player that emerged as the best u17 player in the world years back but yet to make a name in europe since he left Africa 7 seasons ago

I accept that many promising youth players don’t make it in men’s football but my annoyance is with those always making case for him as well as making us believe he is the best that will turn the fortune of super eagles midfield around. Truth be told he is a low level footballer in europe and it’s high time we stop deceiving our selves with the illusion that he now plays in a top division league in europe. Any player in the portuguese top flight who doesn’t play for clubs like porto, benfica, sportin and Braga is a grade Y footballer 🀣🀣🀣🀣

I am praying this Portuguese ladan bosso should invite nwakali so hype merchants can let us hear word small.
