Pls who has experience as regards Form A Refund

I had a shortfall of 189K on £3500 when I was credited. The bank told me that CBN bought it at a lower rate compared to the rate the pounds was sold initially.

Infact I was told the CBN always repurchase at lower rates.

Pls is this the true picture or it is GTB playing pranks

PoliticsRe: Olusegun Osoba: How Fake News From Foreign Media Triggered 1967 Civil War by Johnadelaide00: 3:20pm On May 30, 2021
When did Saudana die, when did Ironsi assumed power?
LegendHero:
Many things led to the civil war Chief Osoba, do you want to say you don’t know history or you’re just trying to be politically correct?

Often many people believed the killing of Saraduana and Balewa are what led to the North uprising against the Ibos in the North but this is half truth. The Unitary decree of Aguiyi Ironsi caused as much harm as the coup. Infact, it was what led to the initial killing of Ibos in the North, and gave the fertile ground for the counter-coup.

I will give timelines of events below, if anyone need proof of any of the point I raise I will provide it.

Besides the killings of other tribesleader by the majorly coupist of Jan 1966 which everyone knows, the below are some other side of the story.

Decree of 1966:
--May 1966, Ironsi announced that the regions are dissolved and there will be unification of the Public Service.
-- Note: The Ibos have the highest number of civil service candidates then and they are more itinerant than other group, which implies that decree will favor them.
--That decree was popular in the East and the Northerners received it as a blow on them and an act of marginalization against them because they have low number of civil servant. Remember Saraduana video that was trendy then.
--To crown the fears of the Northerers, General Ironsi announced the unification decree while the constitutional report group he set up under the chairmanship of Chief Rotimi Williams haven't concluded their report yet. So he acted on this own.

Riots due to the Decree:
--May 28,1966, A massive demonstration of about 20,000 people held against Ironsi decree in Kano which was organized to present a petition by the military authorities through the Emir of Kano. Slogans used were "Pure Federalism or We Bust", "We denounce abuse of power", We Separate Clearly". Infact that was when the North preached secession. 7 people were reportedly killed that day

Kano, Kaduna, and mining centers of Jos and Bukuru again protested with violence with placards saying "Let there be seccession". Infact over 92 people were killed in that weekend demonstration. They burnt Southerners quarter, houses and over-turned cars. Ironsi replied to the protest by saying he will declare certain area military areas, replace civil court with military court, and death penalty to anyone causing destruction in the North. He also accused the Arab world of being behind the protesters coz they are friends to Saraduana.

In June 1966, The government declared Dusk to Dawn curfew and these riots and killing still continued with rumors in the North that the Ibos will counter-attack. I don't know if Chief Osoba is referring to this.

--Over 100 emirs and Chiefs in the North gave an ultimatum to the Ironsi government to reject the decree. The resolution was presented by the 65-year old Sultan of Sokoto then who is also the uncle of Saraduana where they demanded Nigeria should stay Federal, and old boundaries should remain as before.

--The progom continues with several Ibos being killed across the North. The North sensed domination of the Ibos because the constitutional study group haven't submitted their report yet but Ironsi still abolished the system. Then the sentiment is that Ironis is running a Ibo regime just like people are talking about Fulani regime now. Gombe, Katsina, Bauchi also joined in the attacks mainly against the Ibos.

Counter Coup:
--July 1966, the mutineers arrested Ironsi and later killed him which set the ball rolling for more violent attacks here and there. Brigadier Ogundipe who is the Chief of Staff to Ironsi made a broadcast saying the military is still in control with but what happened in few days after showed that the mutineers want none of Ironsi regime and are all out for revenge. Cut story short, Gowon took power.

--Aug 1966, Gowon took power as a Northerner, first it is decisive, he is a Christian and he is from the minority so he is seen as a great asset not only in Uniting the North as a common force but also to appear to the South as being relatively acceptable. Then he ordered the release of Awolowo, Enahoro and other political prisoners which was a masterstroke, now you have the buy-in of some Awo symphatizers who are by far the vast majority of the Yorubas and some of the Edo areas.

All these contributed to other riots, killings, thousand Ibos killed in the North, Ibos retaliated in Port Hacourt killing 25 Hausas, plane evacuating Ibos, and eventually the civil war as the ending game.

What is the cost of refining crude oil? What they say is it takes over $15 to refine per barrel
Thisnut:
dagote will even make more profit self.

He buys a barrel (159 liters) at 19usd and sells at 115 to 120 naira a liter to the distributors. Even if he decides to sell at 80naira self he will still gain.

The losers here are those that are selling the raw material, not the finished product. Na as you buy you go sell, but here, he's buying low and still selling high.

My only only fear for dangote is why not invest on renewable energies since that is the direction the world is leaning to right now. In 10 to 20 years from now, newer car models will be fully running solely electric and solar. The fate of fuel will then be like that of kerosene now

Over to the economists.

Report syas CBN has sold at 380 to banks so parallel should be hitting 400, other reports says the 380 is a unified rate.

FAAC disbursement that was done today at the rate of 360 instead of the previous 305 so automatically the rate has been adjusted
9jatriot:
First of all, CBN rate is 305 and not 366.7, so I am suspicious of this kind of news.

Thank you but its not the POP it is the wall that is cracking and its affecting the POP. The main problrm is the cracking wall
Hargbo:
Firstly, You need to make sure your roof is not leaking o.
The solution is for you to regash, redress and shine the crack line .. just call any Pop guy to come with a bit of POP powder and FILAX, It will do the trick

But before doing all this check your roofing for leakage and your walls for ground moisture seepage
grin grin grin

Cheers

I assumed they will understand because the credit has a narration " matured NTB"

Yes it has 500k entries

The credit made up about 75% of the closing balance

pls how do i go from here
bigtt76:
Did you explain the whereabouts of the large deposit made into the account?

Did the bank statement you attached had entries to the N500k you earn monthly?

Did the large deposit form 90% of your account balance?

Is it through EcoBank or Access Bank "AccessAfrica"?
collinsobinna:
Well i got mails but after reading some posts I remembered that while i started t bills I got most of the information I needed for free.

Okay so to prove some people like dake 40 wrong.

Here’s what I have to say.
I’ve been on holiday somewhere where there are Nigerian banks. You have to figure out where.
Today I felt the need to inquire about treasury bills and I got rates like 14 percent for 91 days and 17. For 182 and slightly higher for 364
I almost screamed out of excitement. I asked the lady if I needed anything else to invest. She said no. And the bank is a Nigerian bank.
But I think if they told you guys this shit. A lot of money will be domiciled in another country.
Though it’s the same bank and you don’t need to move your money.
Just fill forms at the local
Branch in person.
I’ve tried. Thanks yall

PoliticsRe: Abiodun Akinlade Returns To APC by Johnadelaide00: 10:18pm On Dec 23, 2019
Maybe but it cannot be suicidal considering the vote margins of 2019
ProWalker:
Regardless of that, it will be suicidal for the cabal to do things that will undermine the chances of APC post 2023 as they also have lot of things to hide.
PoliticsRe: Abiodun Akinlade Returns To APC by Johnadelaide00: 10:06pm On Dec 23, 2019
Pls note that Amosun is one of the most influential ally of Buhari from the SW. Despite that he's not in control of the party in the state presently he calls the shot in Abuja and it is evident in the appointments.

This cabal is working day and night to old Nigeria to ransome or do you think they do not know that PMB's tenure by 2023?
ProWalker:
Lmaooooo this is ridiculously funny.

The so called cabal don’t have or exercise influence outside the corridor of power in Abuja and by 2023, their power to influence things would have been greatly diminished

This conversation is not even necessary
PoliticsRe: Abiodun Akinlade Returns To APC by Johnadelaide00: 8:23pm On Dec 23, 2019
Considering Amosun's relationship with the cabal and how PYO has been cut to size, Akinlade will pip Abiodun to the 2023 ticket but that's some 3 years plus away
