Nowenuse: In life, we cannot eat our cake and have it!.
Did Osibanjo not know that many christians supported APC because of his pastorship title? Now that it is time for him to live up to the title he used to sway votes, he is clueless. He should never have used a title he couldn't live up to in the first place.
You must be a muslim cos no sane christian can comment like you did. I'm a Christian, a committed one. You can go through my posts especially in religion section. You people like missing emotion with reality. You are not truly talking on behalf of Christianity or Christian community. You are either from the East, SS or a PDP member. I ask you again, did GEJ administration also supported killings? Was Jonathan able to stop Bokoh Haram before leaving office? What did you do as a person when money meant to fight terrorism was squandered? Did he resign because of that? Will Osinbanjo resignation stop the killings? Is he the only Christian in APC or in Buhari administration. |

Tell them o. They will just sit at the comfort of their houses and be deciding issues. Was that not the same way the pushed GEJ against the north and became helpless to give him power. |

EsvNwoye: Osinbajo being silent couldn’t be the best to do. He represents the whole Christians in Nigeria domestically, that's the mandate that got him there, if APC or whoever tries to side line him for speaking up for the same voices that got them the win - Osinbajo will be tagged As Hero, APC might aswell consider there 2019 ticket gone, Christian community in the world will definitely react. When GEJ was there, they got him out and nothing happen The situation rather worsen. Wisdom is key here. If Osinbanjo resign today, they will kill the more. We need God's intervention to destroy the destroyers. |

You should at least say something Pastor VP! Bros, let's remove sentiment and political apathy Osinbanjo has nothing to gain from the killing and sure is totally against it. But His present position require Wisdom Northerners are dangerous to trade with. When GEJ was voted out all in the name of Christianity among other things, none of you could help him and the situations of things have not changed because of that. |

We need to be true and sincere with ourselves for once at least. What really do you expect the man to do exactly? To stop the killing? How? To resign? Will that be a factor to stop the killing?
Does his being silence support the killings? If he dare talk, they will show him a way out and you people won't still be able to do anything and that will be worse.
Let's just put ourselves into his shoe. What do we think he should do? |

Junia: Our only enemy as Christians is the devil and his cohorts. The agents the devil uses are doing it in the simplicity of their minds. If you pray that such a person should die, you kill a person Jesus died for, yet the evil spirit which possessed him or her will move to a different person to possess him or her.
Jesus died for humanity. He doesn't want us to kill people. He wants us to love them and pray for them.
Those people we call enemies are only demon possessed. Doing it in the simplicity of their minds? Bro, good night. I've heard you. |
Christianity Etc › Re: The Prayer For The Death Of Enemies Is Very Wrong by Johncuppa(m): 7:00pm On Apr 07, 2018*. Modified: 8:47pm On Apr 07, 2018 |
[quote author=Junia post=66509219]Lol In Christ, we all have the same qualities, aside certain gifts. It's up to us to exhibit them.
Shalom[/quote Bros, you tried but you see, there are two ways to understand Spiritual matter and affair; through Revelation and Experience. You can know something better by having revelation of it through the Word of God open to you but the best way to fully have the knowledge is by experiencing the Word.
Spiritual warfare is a serious issue in Christendom but we understand it differently because the war is not directly targeted to us the same way. Taking for instance, the way you will react to malaria or headache is not the same for Ebola. They are both sicknesses but one is more deadly than the order. So, it will now be suicidal to ask a patient of Ebola to give the same treatment as one with headache or malaria.
You are seeing Bible references to support your believe while those Engaging those prayers also will have scriptures to back up their action. Example of such is Psalm 18:37 - 40. I pursued my enemies and overtook them; I did not turn back till they were destroyed.
38 I crushed them so that they could not rise; they fell beneath my feet.
39 You armed me with strength for battle; you made my adversaries bow at my feet.
40 You made my enemies turn their backs in flight, and I destroyed my foes.
Now, talking of time of law and grace in dealing with enemies. Are you saying the grace of God brought by Jesus Christ to redeem us from the curse of law also cover the enemies? Did Jesus also come to die for enemies? Let's set the record straight, Jesus came to deliver God's people and to destroy their enemy. |

enilove: They are agents of darkness.
Why are they not against the Muslim or Book Haram who kidnapped Leah Shuab? All the rituals , kidnappings , rape and other social menaces are there that should be condemned, but they want to join that agent of Darkness ,Daddy fresh, to destroy Christianity .
After all , the churches are not forcing anyone . Don't think you've ever succeeded if your success attract no envy and jealousy. The fact that Church is the one being attacked is the confidence we have as believers that we are on a right path. It is scriptural to be challenged but to be defeated is anti -convenant. The gate of hell will surely contend and contest but shall not prevailed |

Even the acclaimed cursed Egypt is better of Nigeria, economy wise. Every curse and covenant have been nailed with Christ on the cross. Tell me something I don't know please! phranklyn92: I was expecting to see the 'Let my Enemies die by Fire prayer' but surprisingly, I didn't! You won't understand if you haven't been there. Fall and die prayer is what Paul termed warfare prayer and what Jesus meant by binding and losing. It is more severe in Africa than other parts of continent because of the terrain of things here - our lands are demons possessed than any other places and thus the high rate of wickedness of powers and principalities and the only language devil understand is power. It is either you kill them or they kill you if you ever fall victim of them but you see, this part of Christianity is best understand through experience, until then, it means nonsense to you. Don't ever think the likes of Adeboye, Oyedepo, Olukoya, all of international standards are jobless to focus praying "fall and die prayer". Life occurrences, situations and circumstances drove them into it. |
