Juicybreed:
Good evening Family.

Please your advice in urgently needed. My first time to post.

I just got a Job offer in one of the Airlines in Lagos.

With Monthly Salary #70,000.

I have already spent one cool month working with the Airline.
But right now, am thinking of my future working with them. Because naturally, I wish to be an Entrepreneur.

Meanwhile, towards the end of last year before i got the job, i applied for Holland work Visa through my Cousin over their. And just this morning it has been confirmed, I already spent much processing the visa.

My aim looking at the country economy is, if i travel and work and get something reasonable, hopefully will establish a business back in the country.

Ps. Am the first Child and have little Sister am taking care of with my Mother too.
Bro, destiny journey needs extra care.
Nobody knows what is ahead of/for you except your God.
Ask Him to lead you, no matter your relationship with Him. Just be humble enough to speak to Him in your own understanding and see Him putting you through anyhow.

May God send His help to you.

Your time will come, be patient and also try and be exercising at least 4 times a week and also you should read up on meditation.
As much as this advise is good, things don't always work that way bro.
Nothing will move until we move it.
At times, we need to shake the yoke off our necks in order to be free.

Wait! I don't have much to contribute but you see, I've experienced depression and I know the effect.
Depression is a dangerous zone. It is a state where devil either allow you to take your own life or you are demonized.
You will get to a stage where you will even forget all your problems looking for how to get out of the effect of depression.

No matter what, just first try to find joy, until then, you are in a dangerous zone.

The Federal Government has deem it fit to engage qualified young Nigerians through the Npower Agro programme as plan to diversify our economy. Beyond what the Federal Government can do for us, let's discuss what we can do for our self, like small scale agricultural business we can venture into that can enrich our pocket, seminar, field trip practicals etc.

This is the major (yes, not that I did not have job of #30,000) reason I applied for NPOWER and thought you guys should have made it your first assignment upon resumption.
Since NPOWER is not a permanent job, coming together to form something like cluster or cooperative and start life from there should be paramount than expecting federal or state government to permanent you.
This is just my thought though.

There is no need for all of these.
Seriously, it is too late to reform the north, any attempt to do so is just wasting of resources and time.
The governor should just empower their youths in what they know how to do best - Agriculture.

Nigeria is far fading, let's not start the foundation again - it's long over due. We can only continue to build on the foundation. To lay a new one is impossible, Nigerians are matured already, we've become dried fishes.
Each region should just capitalises on what they know how to do best.

Agriculture and Power to the north
Education to the west
And entrepreneurship to the East

That Governor that sent Igbos to China to learn shoe making has my respect.
If I become governor of my state today, I will prefer sending youths for training in lieu of academicians' study grants.

Are you minding them. As if they have what it take to deal with the political class. Is it not the same NPOWER some graduates are still blaming government for , for not shortlisting their names.
And besides, couldn't the poor lady make it to her dream business through savings realised from the #30,000 or have better opportunity through networking from the mere NPOWER job.

You never can tell that might be all she needed in life to break forth. Nigerians are despising the days of little beginning and our problems are measuring up on a daily basis.
They will prefer to be complaining of unemployment rather than take the available and turn it to desirable.

Good for you.

You are satisfy with it because you are a female. You don't have much financial burdens, you don't have people looking up to you for financial assistance, may be you don't have parents and siblings to support financially.
Let us consider the case of a guy leaving in a city like P.H. with its high cost of living. If he must spend #300 on transport fare, at the end of 24 working days, he must have spent #6,000 out of the #30,000. How much will he now save for rent? How much will he spend on food? How much will he spend on clothing and up keep? How much will be left for parents and siblings support? How much can he now have as a savings? Compare it with the millions of naira the not so educated, not so enlightened and not so hard working politicians are spending on just news paper allowances.

Nigerian Youths pls let us open our eyes. Let us emancipate ourselves from every delusional spirit we may have being enslaved. Let us wakeup to save Nigeria. Follow "Arise Nigerian Youths" on Facebook: https://m.facebook.com/arisenigerianyouth/
To start with, she never talked of being satisfied with #30,000. She had a vision and government never called NPOWER job - it is an empowerment, in my own opinion she is using NPOWER to gather resources for her dream business.
We have heard of people that started their businesses with money realised from NYSC days and are doing fine. So, if #19,800 could do how much more #30,000.
Don't despise the day of little beginning.

Why will she settle for that if there was better opportunity and should she be sleeping around instead of #30,0000 offer or may be you have a better option for her?

Instead of you advising her on how to make good saving and plan her way out of poverty you are talking of voting out bad politicians.

There is nothing you can do about our political class - bad governance has come to stay in Nigeria. You just have to take whatever you are giving and use your godly wisdom to multiply it.
You who have never been able to enter political class are talking of dislodging them by mere Facebook campaign.

Do you mean to stop northerners from voting for money sake?
Do you have the power to stop Lagosians from rendering their loyalty to Tinubu?

Get out of delusion of changing Nigeria while you are yet to change yourself.

Good bless you.
To think Reno is a Pastor and wrote this is a shame, and shows the level of Ignorance in the body of Christ.

Being rich or success is a product of principles - a biblical doctrine, sowing and reaping. You don't need to be a believer to experience this. It is just like "seeing a man diligent in his work" these are just principles that work for everyone irrespective of whether you are born again or not.

Christianity EtcRe: Training Your Spirit-man To Know The Voice Of The Holy Ghost (2) Heb 5:12-14 by Johncuppa(m): 12:26pm On Jan 05, 2018
darol4real:
You can train your spirit to pick every sign or signal from God. This body is the house of that spirit and just as you can build up your body, develop and train it, so also the spirit-man can be trained. To train your spirit-man, there are three things you must do regularly;

1. FEED CONSISTENTLY ON GOD’S WORD: Read and meditate on the word and hear the word. The word of God is the food of the spirit-man. What natural food does to the body is what the word of God will do to your spirit-man. Can you imagine what happens when you don’t eat for a long time? Your body becomes weak, you cannot see clearly and you cannot even think coordinately. That is the same thing that happens to your spirit-man when you do not take in the word of God.

2. PRAY MORE IN THE SPIRIT (Jude vs. 20): Praying in the spirit is another spiritual exercise that builds your spirit man. Pay attention to it and do it as often as possible. Don’t limit praying in the spirit to the period of your quiet time alone. You can pray in the spirit while doing some other things.

3. EXERCISE YOURSELF IN FOLLOWING THE PROMPTING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: As you begin to notice or sense the prompting of the Holy Spirit and you respond to them appropriately, your ability to know that signal will be getting better by the day, but when you pick those signals and you do not respond to them, you will be shutting down that ability inside you.

PRAYER: Lord I pray for divine infusion of strength into my inner man. I will not be weak and feeble to pick divine signals in Jesus’ name. Amen

BIBLE IN A YEAR: Genesis 11:1-13:4, Matthew 5:1-26, Psalm 5:1-12, Proverbs 1:24-28

Rev. Olusola Areogun
Another Spiritual exercise along praying in the Holy Spirit is fasting and prayer. It really helps especially when we have issue bothering our mind and we need quick intervention through the voice of God.
Fasting and prayer,as so many Christians believed is not a rescue system that you use when you only have problem, it is suppose to be our lifestyle.

And the mystery behind it is simple, it suppresses our body (flesh), so that we can concentrate our inner man (Spirit) on the frequency where we can easily pick God's voice.
It is not as if God has times He speaks, no, He speaks to us every time but we only hear Him when we tune to His frequency.
It is just like a TV set, stations like AIT, or CHANNELS work 24/7 but we only know what goes on there when we tune to any of those channels.

That's why Moses fasted for the two times he met God on Mt Sinai where he received the laws and revelation to write Genesis (if I'm correct), Jesus fasted in Gethsemane, The Apostles were fasting when God told them to separate Paul and Barnabas for Him, Paul fasted when God told him his assignment and in the wilderness of Arabia where he received the revelations to write all of those his epistles, John was fasting (probably) in the Island of Patmos where he got the revelation for the book of revelation, remember, he said "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day"

To hear God, we must be in the Spirit realm, and to do that we must suppress our body and soul. Even though, we can't be fasting everyday like reading the Word and praying, it is something we must be doing once in a while to strengthen our spirit man.

#Shalom!
Christianity EtcRe: Was Apostle Paul Married? by Johncuppa(m): 12:04pm On Jan 05, 2018
BiafraBushBoy:
The Bible never says whether Paul was married or not. Some think that he was at one time based on what he said in 1 Corinthians 9:5, "Don't we have the right to take a believing wife along with us, as do the other apostles and the Lord's brothers and Cephas?" If Paul was married at one time, his wife likely passed away considering he never mentions her in any of his writings. Paul declared that he had the gift of celibacy in 1 Corinthians 7:1-7.

Paul’s statement to the unmarried and widows in the Corinthian church gives evidence that he was not married at the time of his writing the letter: “Now to the unmarried and the widows I say: It is good for them to stay unmarried, as I am. But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion” (1 Corinthians 7:8-9). Clearly, he was not married at that time, but whether he married afterwards is also a matter of speculation.

Some believe that the apostle Paul was married because history tells us that a member of the Sanhedrin was required to be married. However, Paul never stated that he was a member of the Sanhedrin. He definitely seemed to be on the path, "I was advancing in Judaism beyond many Jews of my own age and was extremely zealous for the traditions of my fathers" (Galatians 1:14). However, Paul might not have advanced that far before he converted to Christ.

So, was the apostle Paul married? It is possible that he was at one time, but again, the Bible does not specifically say.
So deep! Weldon.
While we can not ascertain whether he did or not, there are more evidences that he did not than he did.
And many theology Historians believed he did not.

These two things about Apostle Paul are hidden - His marital status and his thorn (2Cor. 12:7). I'm so much interested in his thorn than his marital status if you have any info about that. However, nobody can make a perfect assertion about the duo as they were never recorded in the scripture.
He also talked about the thorn but not extensively.

But on his marital status. it is more convincing to agree that he did not than he did but it is still personal opinion.

When we get to heaven, we will know.
