GRACEGLORY:I presume Dangote is crying profusely right now , because he doesn’t hold any crypto right? And that famous Nigerian ,Bitcoin chief and social media influencers enthusiastic about crypto are now richer than Dangote and Mark Zuckerberg in Forbes list right ? Or richer than Steve Jobs was, right? Ingenuity and creativity pays in all fields of businesses and human endeavors, especially if one can quickly identify a problem or a need for millions of people on earth or a target market and proffer a solution . No wonder the richest people on earth in Forbes list are those who identify a problem, come up with solution/products of market value & utilities that quickly solve the problems. Ingenuity in Business pays a lot and l am not exactly what you call “a crypto guy”. I am very passionate about creating my own digital and physical products and building businesses especially Fintech. Crypto is not my thing. So l would rather spend 70% of “my funds allocated to spending on crypto”, in stacking on BTC and Etherum only, while l focus on my daily business without any coin or token giving me unnecessary sleepless nights #Dokwon . Generally, financial experts warn to only invest as much as you can afford to lose in all cryptocurrencies due to their risk!. Some people even lost their life savings & retirement funds to that Dokwon’s Luna months back. The case of one USA doctor in the news was too pathetic. Better safe than sorry!. If any coin or meme is going to the moon and $hooting 5000% overnight, e not concern me. as such an extremely volatile coin can equally lose 90% value overnight and I hate gambling with my hard earned money. Some alternates which ruled the crypto space years ago have gone into total obscurity since 2018 Bitcoin crash . Once l hear alternates my heart don start to beat gbim gbim Different strokes different folks! Nevertheless, l stay updated on the crypto market and whenever considering where l can put a few careless bucks once in a while, with potential of times 100yields , l appreciate recommendations from crypto enthusiasts like you and others with a good nose to smell the next big alternate thing… Nor vex, l was almost getting sold in on the #babydodge thingy until l got to the social media ranking part. And burst out laughing.  You raised a lot of salient points worth considering for any potential investor of the babydodge $alt. Why do you think Elon musk insisted on an audit company auditing twitters large humungous numbers of signed up users base? Sometimes, social media can be just an illusion. These days, Several websites abound on the internet to buy social media followers for Facebook, instagram, twitter and tiktok, etc. These days, one can even buy customized post comments and likes on social media posts and even specifically select the region/country of desired fake followers and bots commenting customized comments on social media posts! . Always check market. Cap to be on the safe side!. And Average Daily Volumes and the rest. But Social media Hian!. Social media lol Social media is something else these days!. Even me talking to you, l have like 15k followers on instagram. But only 1000 people are my true followers. I acquired the remaining 14k followers overnight by just entering atm card details on followers buying site. If l was more buoyant, l woulda selected the more costly safer option of getting the followers delivered very slowly to my account over the course of two months, to make it appear more organic. The fact remains that crypto is a. very volatile financial instrument unlike traditional financial markets like stock or even the forex market. Movement from 102.0002 to 102.0008 might be all in a day for a typical forex market. 4 or 5pips might be all in a day for forex for example.That is why crypto has been classified as one of the most volatile assets requiring extra caution especially when using leverages. leveraged trading normally is very risky even in traditional stock markets and the lesser volatile financial markets and one is to manage that risk accordingly, But low chances of success does not require giving up. Despite that, even a sea safe for voyage ( with some relative risk still of course on a normal day), it's not advisable to sail on it when there are heavy storms . flying is risky, comes with some risk, but it's not advisable for a pilot to fly when the weather is stormy & chances of unclear weather & probability of fatal accidents highest. Same applies to crypto. On a normal day, It is extremely risky and dangerous to use leverage in trading as one is more susceptible to losing capital, since a leveraged position can be easily liquidated even without asset price dropping to zero unlike spot market . Crypto ordinarily , is a very volatile asset requiring extra caution especially when using leverage. The greatest numbers/volumes of liquidations as established, occur in crashes/depressive prolonged bear market, TIMES like these of EXTREME PRICE VOLATILITY . It should not be an an addiction. A calculated short break from the market this period is worth it especially for leveraged positions. Last time l checked, even successful most skillful 1% pilot, don't fly unnecessarily in stormy foggy misty adverse weather with greater probability of fatal accidents And yes Low chance of success does not ever mean giving up, but it is worthwhile to look at what the 2% are doing when in a place like Nigeria, and emulate their success . For example, the 2% who own 90% bank deposits are likely to be multinationals workers or oil workers, (corrupt)polithiecians ( president,governors, etc) at corridors of power & national cake, or friends & associates of polithiecians who ruled the nation in the past and benefited massively from policiess to grant their business monopoly in the past eg Dangote was granted monopoly of cement importing in a full country. Or simply associates of polithiecians in the past like the very very lucky tailor to first lady, Folorunsho Alakija who became oil bloc owner in military regime. It is pertinent to look at what the 2% are doing and emulate them.So if not in politics or not working in multinational like chevron,etc l would advise an entrepreneur in Nigeria to be closer to polithiecians. Imagine owning a pure water factory & winning contract to supply all the politicians in Abuja whenever they meeting. it is very worthwhile to look at what the 2% are doing when in a place like Nigeria, and emulate their success . If you look at the numbers, oil wealth of Nigeria is estimated to benefit an approximate 1% only as a result of corruption. . Nigeria is a classical example of the 'resource curse'.
