You're even lucky with 2k.

That's a serious offence in case you don't know.

Sedan cars are not meant to carry anything other than the Nos of passengers designed for the car and load for the boot. Anything out of that is a serious offence and endanger to human lives and property.

If that load you carried on the roof of the car get discharged by wind nko? On a high way what do you think will happen to the cars behind?

I've been in the repairs business and I'm still going back into it because there's a lot of potentials in it. But let me school repairpal on this that I've learnt overtime; customer relations is something you MUST NOT JOKE with in the repairs business be it computers, Phones, electronics or even cars. If you'd be running at loss to make sure you satisfy your customers, you must do it because trust me, you'd make your money back as long as you have a good brand. Damages could occur and it occurs many times especially when you're still small and you have to outsource but its not your customer's fault if it does. They MUST get value for their money and you (repairpal) must ensure it!

Having customers drag your brand in the mud like this is not good for your business and we can see at least three people coming out already to testify to your doings. I'll implore you repairpalng pls I'm begging you ensure you resolve all these issues pls. Sincerely if you call them and explain to them they'll reason you too, some of them may not even collect their money back but seeing you come out plain to them and your willingness to correct every wrong will make them give you a good name so please handle these issues well.

Trust me, I've been there before, but I know a lot better now, when issues like this come up it can be drainning and you may not even know what to do especially when you don't have money or enough money to do refunds cos most certainly you've used their money for other things, its part of the business. So pls, call them up, APOLOGISE, explain things to them and discuss how you intend to right the wrongs on ground pls.

You can only get away with these things for sometime if you're restricting your business to computer village only (last last they won't come to your shop again) but as long as you're building an online brand brother, TAKE CUSTOMER RELATIONS VERY VERY IMPORTANT! MAY YOU NEVER LABOUR IN VAIN MY BROTHER! GOD BLESS YOU.
True!
Recently, I had to change my phone's screen,
Paid 13k and it was fixed in a market, that same day in the evening the same screen went blank.
Then I went back to the phone repairer and explained to him, but by this time the screen started showing again, and later started blinking.
To cut the long story short, the screen was replaced with a new one at the expense of the repairer.

Una for ask Tojah if he pick the trip. I am giving you first hand experience.

Got a request from yaba to same address as placed. Put a call to rider, for affirmation sake I asked. You are going to the school at the said place. And she replied, no! Don't you know Awoyaya after Sangotedo? And I replied her from here to that place you are putting 2800. Check well, what I have here is Vi. She ask to check well and call back. Oh sorry, can we do offline? Ohk! How much are you going to pay for offline? This trip is 2800 abi? Can I add 1k to it. I smile and cut the phone, no need to bargain unnessary bargains.

I witnessed same experience and I gave up on that address. It is either rider is going to mobile or mansard. Ever since I've been driving, I have not driven into that school.

Got a trip from surulere to berger ard 5 30pm for 2750. PU is Iketa bus stop... rushing down to Iketa bus stop, I put a call to rider and she's the rude type. Shouting don't you know Iketa bus stop blah blah. I calm her down and ask her to explain her PU well. When she mentioned Lekki grin the first question I ask her was, like seriously? Iketa Lekki to Berger 2750 and you will enter? grin after Una go say driver won kidnap Una. She cancelled and did the same thing, I felt pity for the next driver.

Few errors rider's make...
1. Going to Jakande bus stop and putting Jakande at Ajah area. Free money
2. General hospital Ikeja and the map will take it for yaba
3. A beach around Ogombo and it will take you to that Gbangbala area. Once we are approaching and the rider is saying it's still in front. Please check the map well and see where you input. Ohk! What should I add to take me there. Me: my fuel don finish like this grin
This pope is not from Rome grin
But I swear u are 100% correct, I had my own share of it today,
Na so person put one address of a bank related to Ekiti, but when I check app, it's around ojodu, price 10k, I offered 13k, the person accept, next time is call on my phone

Rider: hello good afternoon
Me: good afternoon
Rider: where are you please
Me: am at ilaje bustop inside the traffic
Rider: ok I'm here too
Me: where are u going to
Rider: Ekiti State
Me: Ekiti State, shey u dey whine me ni, Ekiti State Na im u dey offer 10k?
Rider: ehn Na , u will say how much u want Na
Me: don't worry I'm not going

Thanks for this boss.

Whenever I jumpstart the battery and I let the car run for 3 minutes or so. Then turn off the car. The battery will start the car at once.

But when I park overnight, and I still remove the positive terminal, the battery would run down again.

The last battery charger said it is my battery that is bad. Although I have not done long driving for a while

Maybe I will remove the battery and give battery chargers to help me charge for hours before buying a new battery.

But I want to be sure if there can still be parasitic drain when the positive terminal is removed?
From my personal experience, it's Ur battery

Pearl1910 you too like argument.

Remember that he never said manual is better than automatic for Ehailing. So I don't really know the base of your argument.

Manual is not difficult to drive bro.
When driving an Auto car, your right leg is always busy going from throttle to brake.
It's almost same with a manual car. Your right leg is still more busy than the left leg which controls only the clutch. No big deal.
It takes time to master a manual car. And if you haven't managed one for at least 1yr, you may never get comfortable having one.

On the issue of Uphill/traffic:
Back then in owerri, I was driving a manual car one day and my car went off in a pool of water that was even coming into my car through the doors; car couldn't start and there's no way to come down and call people to help me push it.
Car was in gear1 and I tried starting it, forgetting to clutch and it moved forward a bit but didn't start. That's how I pressed the ignition and held on it, car kept rolling and moving forward till it got out of water but didn't start. I waited for about 15mins, tried the ignition again and it started.

The reason for this example is to prove to you that you can start a manual car while the gear is engaged, cos I tried it a lot subsequent times.

So If you're in an uphill traffic, there are many ways to move your car without rolling back. You just need to be good with manual cars.
You can half your clutch before releasing the break, which is no big deal for a manual professional driver.
You can start the car and release the clutch respectively in milliseconds, car will start and jack forward a little bit.
You can equally use the hand brake/clutch and foot brake. It works fine for a rookie.

These will sound complex, but believe me if you can, it's quite easy and fun to a professional manual driver.

So anyone that can't afford an automatic, but have money for a manual car should please go ahead. It may not go easy with you at first, but you will testify with time.
Most interstate commercial cars are manual and there's no big deal in it.
God bless you.
Bless me too and my manual car grin

I see people struggling to buy 3million car just for e-hailing lol.
Not a bad idea, but wisdom is profitable to direct.
Do weytin Ur power reach then focus on growth.

You have not been completely honest on this thread. There is a difference in encouraging people to look outside ehailing for better opportunities and telling people outrightly ehailing isn't worth it. Meanwhile u were cashing out day and night. See the way u gave breakdown of how to easily make 20k daily the other day. U never did that while u were still driving. All u did was constantly tell people it's better to do work of 80k than do ehailing, it's better to remain a restaurant staff or fuel attendant than do ehailing. Cos ehailing is stressful, suffer head, risky, and u go home with peanuts.
I am not against guys doing better things with their lives, what I am against is people saying that there isn't anything good about ehailing.
Anybody that has a low self esteem already will feel demoralized doing this but if u know who you are, if u know ur worth u will not define yourself by what u do or by what people think of you. Who jacket, white shirt and tie hep. When u collect your 100k salary and enter market u go know say there is a difference between 6 and half a dozen.
this people don't knw the effect of there comments on people reading it in other to make informed decisions.

I bought a manual car dey told me that my legs will be dis and that, that I can't face the stress and the rest of their lies.

Today me and my manual car are doing very well, car will be one year next month, bolt don pay me the money wey I take buy car, yet see me see car everywhere good.

WEEDsdom wan finish you lol, it's ok.
Well truthfully ehn, let me say this here now and maybe it might be my final comment on this our baseless argument about bolt hustle paying.

Let it be known that b4 I started commenting on this conversation actively, a narrative about lazy drivers and ant drivers is already ongoing.
Now, back to what brought me to this thread I have narrated the story here b4, but will repeat it for d sake of genuine people here who need real life experience for them to make their own decisions.

I was working at an office in Victoria Island at the initial, my salary was 50k monthly, I resigned in 2019, November precisely and I was legit grinding with my main hustle (handwork) I made quite reasonable amount of money legitimately and I was looking for investment opportunities did a whole lot of research, the one that resonates well with my current reality as at that time was e-hailing, reason because my main hustle gives me a whole lot of time to relax doing nothing, so I had to convert that free time to making money , and e-hailing is was the favourite business idea to me then, I started following this thread, asking questions and the rest of it, finally and luckily, I bought a Nigerian used manual car, did it took me sometime to register and put the car in order, along the line Cheerfulgiver was an high earner and the kind of motivation I needed that time, he then drop a mail so that those that are interested in earning high like him should contact him, I did contact him, he added me to the telegram group without any of those bloody lies( birth certificate, local government, D.O.B ) and the rest of it some people are spreading around, the one that made me really know that cheerfulgiver is legit, was when he called me with his own airtime to check on me asked me about my car challenges and even offered to assist me financially if the need arises, common it's rare to see a total stranger who cares so much about another stranger success. That's one of the reason I always tend to reply any cheerfulgiver slander if I knw it's not true.
I dont want this too long,
Now back to the bolded Baz001 I stand with my full chest to tell u that bolt is my side hustle even if I spend more time on bolt than my real hustle, because from the very initial I stated it that my real hustle gives me a whole lot of time to rest without doing nothing.
Now let me give u a practical example my real job can pay me 200k for a day job, and after expenses and production, I still net way more than 50% of the 200k.
Take note bolt cannot pay u 200k in a day.

Baz001 I no wan cap too much, I have said this b4, but let me say it here again, I can afford not to drive bolt again and still grind legitimately.
PBUY.

Manual is not hard to drive even in traffic... Just put on neutral then use your hand break to release yourself.

As it is now self I'm.feeling like my left leg is dead, that leg is just there doing nothing during driving hours this is not really comfortable to me any more... If not for the stress selling of a manual car I would have gone to buy one since but with manual car your entire body will be active which is good.
