Yes, I am looking forward to becoming a full-time member of administrative council in that school, besides, you're the one being confused here. As the VC of the school, how does she study and analyse the types of infrastructures needed to boost the learning activities of the institution and the calibre of personnels that are suitable for the school as she does not have any knowledge of Transport, Marine and Maritime studies?
This is the major reason why this country is not growing unless the needful is done.

Are you seeing what I saw? Why appointing someone who read Mechanical Engineering and other non-maritime related courses as the V.C. of the Maritime University? How can she manage the school, will she give what she doesn't have? Does she know anything about ports, dry ports, vessels turn-around-time, cargoes, ships, containers, handling capacity of any port etc Or can she evaluate the criteria for siting and development of seaports in any part of this country? Not even Marine Engineering. Let GEJ come to the departments of Transport Management Technology and Maritime Management Technology in F.U.T.O. to pick the new V.C., we have competent professors and Ph.D holders in these departments who I know very well will handle the affairs of the university and take us who have M.Sc certificates in Maritime Management Technology as lecturers so that we can unload the cargoes (the knowledge) we have loaded for 7 years to the ports (brains) of the students. By so doing, this institution will be a university to reckon with, as it will be filled with qualified personnels who know their right from left hand in transport, marine and maritime industries.

What an irreparable loss! RIP.
