They should better settle their differences so we can return to our normal lives. Prolonged Russia - Ukrainian criss will cause humanity so much pain. Inflation is already out of control. |
Peacecore:Lol... Did South West vote Obasanjo? Abi una get short memory? |
pinkgoodies:I fit bet this one with you. South West doesn't have block vote. BAT will be lucky to come out with 50% of the votes from the region. |
This is the height of insensitivity. You're sending high powered delegation to defend someone facing a criminal case with tax payers money. While our economy is in ruins. ASUU strike, Daily killings, Galloping inflation, Huge number of IDPs when Nigeria is not at war. I will continue to say this, the masses need to fight to protect their interest which should be good governance that will improve the lives of every Nigerian. Religion and ethnicity has no place in this. The Elite will always protect their interests which is to win elections at all cost and share our commonwealth among their class. |
Wasteful when the country is in ruins. |
The type of infrastructure being pushed forward by this government will never improve our economy. Indians and Chinese make up a bulk of the work force. There's no local content. Our schools are on strike. It's same way we spent money to build Ajaokuta steel and refinery that we have to rely on the Russians to maintain it. No single input by our institutions. We rely on foreign help. We can't keep putting the cart before the horse. On the other hand compare the world's floating tunnel being built in Norway known as the E39 project. The contract is handled by Norwegian Public Roads Administration in collaboration with 3 of the largest universities in Norway. And currently, 50 PhD students are all working to solve engineering challenges of the project. Can we mention any project in Nigeria with collaboration with our tertiary institutions? What politicians do is borrow money to start a bogus project at a ridiculous amount then take their kickback to Europe to hide. There's no impact or whatsoever on the economy. If the said project breaks down we're screwed like the Ajaokuta steel and our refinery too. We must grow organically. The machines and materials for the Projects are all imported. The diesel that fuel the same imported machines are also imported while we have crude oil running beneath us. We have ended up with over $100 billion of debt with nothing to show for it. The trains and machines being operated at various work sites by Chinese and Indians can be done by average Nigerians if trained. The Nigerian project most be done by Nigerians. This will spore patriotism. But what we have is a situation the masses are looking afar from a project. And at the some people will continue to steal from the sites because they can't relate with the project. We're building Railway with borrowed funds, men and materials while having increasing unemployment rate that has created insecurity. Before Obi became a governor in Anambra in 2006. Onitsha most especially was filled with restless youths hanging around head bridge and Upper iweka. This was the first state in Nigeria where a sitting governor was kidnapped. Obi's solution was to encourage factories setup. Male child school enrollment. And today, Anambra is among the top states in every developmental indices in Nigeria. sound education is fundamental to economic growth and development. We're simply building castle in the air as illustrated with the last attack on the Abuja-Kaduna railway |

Ike Ekweremadu will serve a jail term. Unless they're ready to completely sell Nigeria to UK because of him. There's no way he will escape organ harvesting and human trafficking charge. Buying of Organ is illegal anywhere in the world. |
Cognitivereason:You're simply a clown. So Diesel is cheaper in Venezuela or Angola not because they have crude oil abi? Why is it not possible with countries that don't have crude oil? The only reason Iran or Venezuela is able to keep price of diesel so low is because they have oil. If they didn't have crude oil and relied on international prices it won't have been possible. It's only common sense. Cost of importation of diesel from Europe include shipping, taxes, insurance, cost of production that includes labour cost. Can you compare the cost of labor in Nigeria to that of Europe? Alot of cost factors goes into it. You people always rush to compare Nigeria to Europe and America leaving out the most important indices like per capita income, subsidized agricultural industry. America subsidize corn, Soyabeans, wheat, cotton and rice. EU has a huge Subsidy package for farmers. What's my own. Let's continue to rationalize deliberate impoverishment of the Nigerian masses when the crisis will start everyone of us will face it. |
Let's see. |
Cognitivereason:Lol... You're just an ignorant Mofo. I can bet my life you don't even know what hustle is about. Show me where Europeans and Americans are buying gas at 500% increment from last year despite the Russian and Ukrainian war? Your level of ignorance in this country needs to be given special attention. What we have is imported inflation because the APC government failed to build new refineries or make our old ones to work like they told us before they got into power. It's only in Nigeria we make excuses for clueless government. And telling me that even if we produce diesel the difference won't be more than #50 really shows how daft you're. A simple Google search would have help cure your ignorance. Iran sells diesel locally at $0.011 Venezuela $0.022 Angola $0.315 Algeria $0.199 Ethiopia $0.679 Togo $1.064 America $1.511 Nigeria $1.617 Presently Nigerians are buying diesel higher than Americans. Our per capita income is $1800 while America is $63,000. |
inoki247:I get weak when I hear this excuse from the so called woke Nigerians. Those countries you mentioned enjoy power supply more than Nigerians. Please tell me what's the minimum wage in Nigeria compared to Europe and America you have mentioned? Since the deregulation of Diesel how has that improved our lives as Nigerians? There's no oil producing nation buying fuel as costly as Nigeria when we compare the earning power of their citizens. What will bury this country is corruption. Nigerians are already extremely poor. Exposing Nigerians to more hardship will only create a crisis we can't solve. Endsars will be a joke. In Europe, the price of flour, Sugar has remained relatively stable for the past 20years. It's not because it can't be increased but the government knows the potential danger. Even America pays subsidy to American farmers to make food affordable. Total support to farmers is above $500 billion yearly and America is the advocate of capitalism. Corn, Soyabeans, wheat, cotton and rice are all subsidized in America. But in Nigeria Bread has gone from #300 to #800 within a year and according to you it's normal. It's all right. |
inoki247:Who is responsible for the jump in diesel? Is APC not the ones Nigerians voted into power to solve problems? Why are you people always looking to defend an anomaly? How much are you paid? Ojota protest comes to mind. Increase was about 60% the current clowns in government were ready to shut down Nigeria. Today we have experienced about 500% increase in Gas and diesel and everyone is quiet. |
Lol... Vote Peter Obi for Presidency. How Diesel went from #180 to #800 in less than 18months is still a shock. Anybody campaigning for APC to continue in government is an enemy of the Nigerian masses. |
Lol |
bizbrainko:Lol. I'm very such you have never crossed Ijebu ode. How you people stay in South west and conclude on things happening in South East is simply amazing. That's how my painter told me that Igbo's don't sell land to non indigenes. I ask him if he has been to the east and he said no. That he heard it. I told him I have a land I'm selling if he has the money I will personally sell my land to him and he started laughing but I meant it. Guys travel and see. The development the Easterner have experienced is as a result of their open mindedness to travelling. There's no region that is more developed in Nigeria than the south East. This is a region that fought 30 months civil war. They lost everything and started life Afresh. If you consider the 5 Eastern states side by side with other regions You people should try and learn. Nigeria can be great if we humble ourselves to learn from each other. |
How do you go killing unarmed youth? This is cold blooded murder. I can't see the arms these youths had with them. |
anonimi:Lol... Most of you are so ignorant. More than 400 public enterprises were privatised. And today only about 10% is still functional. What happened to the rest? If you think privatisation of public enterprises is the solution to our myriad of problems then, you're completely out of touch with reality. |
anonimi:You can download labour party's manifesto. It's people's oriented. No sane Nigerian will support APC or PDP after going through Labour Party's manifesto.
|
Leaving paid employment is the best decision I ever made in my life. |
Peter Obi already raised the bar as regards to conversations concerning our dear nation. Now we're talking about Investments, monies left in the government coffers, and not what was looted; traveling to understudy a system that works and not for medical treatment. If we were left with Atiku and Tinubu the only conversation would have been who looted more than the other and who spent more time abroad on medical tourism. |
Well... |
Dead party. |
There's need for a new government to come and revamp our security architecture and same time improve the economy. If APC had any solution we should have seen it by now. Vote Peter Obi for Presidency |
Peter Obi should pick Ahmed Musa as running mate. We're tired of hearing youths are the leaders of tomorrow. |
Sad |
Impressive. Our own players came back with sport betting package for youths. |
The biggest mistake Kwankwaso will make is to align with APC or PDP. He will become less popular in the south. Especially among the youths. Unless he doesn't plan to contest going forward. |
Lol. The hustle is real. |
Piggyeasterner:Lol... If only Igbo's are supporting Peter Obi it means the Igbo's will cause a major upset. PVC campaign is championed by Peter Obi's candidacy This level of awareness has never been seen before. For years Inec has been spending billions on sensitisation with no result. Only Obi's candidacy will bring millions of first time voters. Play this down at your own peril. |
Mfetenang:This structure thing go shock una. I can tell you for free that the excitement over Peter Obi's candidacy in South South, South East, North central and even the south West is huge. People are mobilising voluntarily. There's no financial inducement. Obi Candidacy is going to set a new standard for politicking in Nigeria. Whether he wins or not it will send a clear message that people are tired of the bulshit. Buying of votes and delegates won't be tolerated going forward. This presidential election will shock you guys. You will see polling unit where Governorship, and legislative offices goes to PDP or APC but presidency will be Labour party. A few PDP families I know very well in Jos plan to do this. Campaign is yet to start. The worst that will have to Atiku and Tinubu is if they shy away from debate. |
Viraltrends123:What i stated are not blogger news. You can pick up the appropriation acts from 2015-to date. Nigeria has never been this bad. Voting for Apc or Pdp is simply to reinforce failure. Only Peter Obi is addressing the issue of waste. Eliminate waste in the system then you have solved about 50% of Nigerian's problems. |
