Not surprised. $1 million dollars to ridicule Nigerians. Nigerian scammers are still learning from Russian fraudsters buh they dare not throw such an offer to Russians. Tell me again that imperialism is just a conspiracy. Most Africans in diaspora are a big part of the African problem. Imagine a guy I knew so well while growing. He struggled to gain admission for a diploma program in Osu which of course he could not finish as a result of hardship. And some how he found his way to London, today he is a British citizen rationalising Buhari's derogatory statement about Nigerian youths |
WinningSun:Sorry what does that mean? Is this the first time our banks have declared huge profits? |
These guys are making an insane profit and yet don't pay living wage. |
cbi24:Take it easy with the lie please. |
splmosixx:You didn't go back to complain? I have experienced same. The following day went back to complain. It didn't take more than 3hours and I was credited with the balance. Although, that was Gtbank. |

Ykman:Just like we focused on the positives when he took over the cement industry. Today Nigerians buy cement at double the price in the international market. Where are the forex we saved from the alleged cheaper alternatives. Nnpc must be made to account to the public. We can't continue on this part of concentrating the common wealth of this country in the hands of one man. By the time he ends up controlling, Housing via cement , Petroleum, and the food industry it's going to be a total disaster for the masses |
Nasir123:Rhodababy123 Brother, the reality on ground is that we Nigerians are already flooding the west African countries with cheap products we got from China. Just take a trip to trade fair in Lagos and find out how many 40 tons trucks they load on a daily basis to Neighbouring countries. Clothes, cosmetics, Electronics Auto parts etc Ariaria market too in Aba where local shoes are made load atleast five 40ton trucks every Saturday to Neighbouring countries. Tomatoes produced in Northern Nigeria find their way to Cotonou while we buy things like Garlic from them to complement the ones produced locally. I have sent toilet rolls produced here in Lagos to a friend in Kumasi almost 50kg. What made the supply unprofitable was the high custom duties. Protectionist economy will only limit our growth. Regional trade must be encouraged; Europe and America understand that. Nigerians are more enterprising than the rest of west African people. As of today, it's way cheaper to call China, UK, and America than to Call Ghana. A 1minute call to Ghana currently cost almost #200. My stand is based on personal experiences.we keep signing trade agreements with China, Europe and America and shy away from same trade agreement with our neighbouring countries, it's ludicrous. Not surprised this is coming from Buhari who told us he hasn't been able to make any money as a private citizen. |
geosegun:Your argument really lacks merit. Have we stopped bringing in cheap products from China? There is no need for long talk. Just go to trade fair and find out how many trailers of cheap products we got from China that we re-export to Ghana and other Neighbouring countries on a daily basis. Clothes, Electronics, Fabrics, Auto parts etc that we bring from China end up in Ghana and other Neighbouring countries. Africa need to trade more with each other. We can't continue to discourage regional trade. The disadvantages is more. As of today, it's way cheaper to call China and Europe than to call Ghana. Nigeria has a big rule to play here. |
gmoni2:Thumbs up. Our leaders are so myopic. Lets take petroleum products for instance, most West African countries depend largely on products from Europe and Asia. We should be able to take advantage of this agreement in planning on how to flood the west African Market with our products. Lolzzz... I have to repent from wishful thinking when we can't supply our local economy. |
greatsly:This is not true. Buhari and his Co travellers are just simply incompetent. Many west African countries depend on Nigeria for so many commodities. Just go to trade fair and find out how many trailers they load on a daily basis to Ghana. |
AntiWailer:Haba, you barely know me. I will do without the advice thanks anyway. This same mindset is what that will lead to the extinction of the human race. As far as I'm ok every other person can go to hell. Indeed you have worked harder than people in poverty! If people like Dr Jonas Salk who discovered the polio vaccine had not given it for free maybe You and I won't have survived infancy. Yet, you believe you have worked harder than him to amass the whole wealth on earth. I'm sure to you Jonas was foolish for deliberately refusing to patent the polio vaccine, just so everyone could have access to it. And back to the main issue. America has anti trust laws. Donald Trump doesn't control 10% of the Real Estate Market and I stand to be corrected. Dangote controls over 60% of the cement industry which is critical to the Nigerian economy as Nigeria needs over 17 million units of housing to offset the housing deficit. So is that really taking advantage of the system? My advice to you too will be when teaching your kids how to be a Dangote by taking advantage of the system, also try to mention to them the works of people like Dr Jonas Salk who devoted their lives to find the vaccine to polio that killed millions in the 1950s and gave it for free. Note: Nigeria can only thrive when every Nigerian thrives. |
dominique:Does Jumia still carry out such a transaction after the killing of the Dispatch rider in Portharcourt? This is very risky. Payment on delivery for an item worth over $1,000. |
INDUSTRIALFAN:The main issue is that his business practices is detrimental to the economic wellbeing of Nigerians. #Beggarthycountrymen |
INDUSTRIALFAN:Please don't insult Entrepreneurs who actually brain storm by including Dangote in their league. Nigeria is Dangote's personal property. Its a known fact that Dangote has an undue advantage in this nation. We still don't think it should be corrected. Instead, we keep applauding and trying to be like Dangote. Nigerians never see suffer. |
AntiWailer:To prove nothing. Nigerians never see suffer. Let's keep applauding and trying to be like Dangote. |
AntiWailer:Bros, Dangote is part of the Nigerian problem. Although, I would be the last to criticise his daughter's wedding. Its their business. Buh when it comes to his business practices and how it affects the common man that is where we Nigerians should really look into. It's on record how he threatened Yaradua over his decision to give more import licence for cement. Today, we are buying cement almost double the price in the international market. Not forgetting the fact that he gets his raw materials here almost free of charge. #25 per ton is the Royalty he pays for limestone and the rest. That guy made about #1trillion from 2010 - 2015 and paid just 12 billion in tax as a result of the pioneer status they kept on granting him even when he took over Eagle cement that was already in business. |
Another Recad and Naija taxi scam loading... ![]() |
project4OO:Those bottle necks don't apply to Dangote. He generates his own electricity which is way cheaper than what it cost the federal government to generate same amount of power. Fuel is still relatively cheap compared to other countries with cheaper prices for cement. Goodluck trying to get Dangote to pay double tax with Omonile. A man that made about #1trillion from 2010-2015 and paid just 12billion in tax as a result of the pioneer status government keeps granting him. Even, when the economy was not this bad he had always been offered Fx at official rate while others go to the black market to source for Fx. Dangote that still pays #40k salary at his factories. No security agent can demand bribe not to talk of seizing Dangote's truck. We all know this. Bringing in his equipments he pays almost nothing to our custom. How about the mineral resources he gets for free? For instance, a ton of limestone is sold for about $30 or more in the international market, but, he pays just #25 to the government as Royalties. Note: His quality of cement can be sourced from the international market at less than $5. The only reason is that he owns over 60% of the market. He owns us. He will dictate the price. |
Cool. Well done Op |
undigeh:Hehehehehheheheh ![]() |
WizzPoll:Thought I was the only one that noted his performance. He reads the game perfectly unlike Ezenwa. |
Real missionary. Not our Billionaire pastors that take advantage of the congregation to amass stupendous wealth here on earth while promising the members paradise in heaven. |

ibadanfinest:That is not true. There is what is known as catchment areas. If UNN for instance, covers your catchment area gaining admission in UNN will be easier for a candidate. I know for a fact that candidates from North Central have a lower cut off point than candidates from South East for UNN admission. UNN is one of the universities with the most transparent admission process. There are generally two cut off points. Merit and catchment area. If you meet up with any there is nothing that will stop your admission. Unlike a school like unilag with zero transparency. They deny most jambites admission just to create a space for their diploma students where they make a hell of money. |
It's a common secret that charity organisations spend more than 80% of their funds on just admin. Not just churches, international organisations like Red Cross are also culprits. Charity organisations are nothing buh full blown scam. Going forward, I think as an individual if you have the means to touch one life at a time it will go along way. Buh trusting these so called charity organisations to do the right thing with your funds is a big joke. Middle managers in some of these international charity organisations working in Nigeria earns over #1.5million a month while working 35hrs a week. They earn better than bank managers and work less. |
Xisnin:There is no need for name calling. I'm not your problem. I hope you have a property in Lagos and you're coping very well with the 400% increment. Firstly, you don't know me enough to call me lazy. Half education is really a bigger problem. If you're even enlightened to a level you should know that one of the principles of a good tax system is that it should not be a burden. When a tax becomes a burden then the purpose is defeated. 400% increment in every economy is excessive and as such, is a burden. Normally, I wouldn't result to insult buh I will say this to you. You're a retarde.d ass.hole for supporting a clear case of oppression in the name of development. The last time I checked this same Lagos government is still fighting freedom of information act so they don't open their books to public scrutiny. You're fast to quote the western world. The last time Gordon brown spent a paltry sum of £12000 on his garden there was a public outcry and he was made to pay back that sum. How much is your Ambode using to run his government?. I'm very certain you're a product of illicit wealth that's why you can open your maggots infested mouth to call someone one poverty-stricken. No be your fault. It's simple, a government that is not accountable to the people has no right to over burden the people with tax. You can go hang yourself now. F.ucking nitwi.t |
Proudlyngwa:This is the reason we're in deep shit because of how we blindly support govt at our own detriment. What has the government been maintaining in Lagos that we don't pay for directly? The other day I was inside a keke. Two Keke drivers were discussing how they change their parts almost every two weeks because of the bad road meanwhile, they pay tax of over 30% of their daily income. The money they generate from just Keke and okada in a month is enough to carry out a quarterly maintenance. |
