Some pictures of my own slope roof and of the duplex on the thread linked above which served as inspiration for me.

Slope roof consumes less materials, a major advantage.
But i wouldn't advise it for large buildings though.
It makes large buildings to look plain...don't know if it is just me.
Especially duplex...

You also raise the issue of students graduating from foreign institutions, that is the result you get if people practicing and voting for rice, money, ethnicity instead of quality people with discipline, morals and integrity. Mind you if all this hate and divide by rule by so called politicians that you guys voting for ethnicity line, nothing will change anytime soon. Not until we put our difference aside and be patriotic citizens that have interest of that country at heart and bring value that will make meaningful changes. Instead of going their with a mindset of looting. I remember when they thought the economy was booming and people come here, even low earners with government jobs. Some of them come here and spend $3,000-4,000 a day. Some of these people today cannot even afford to charge their phones for whatsapp and they make us look stupid, as if we don't know what we are doing out here.

I think I should say my own.I started my 3 bedroom flat with mud block within a little time I have taken it to roofing stage then some things happened that couldn't make me to roof it on time.rain came heavily on it and a part started coming down.I pulled it down and started all over again with cement block,thank God today is at roofing stage.I have started buying the materials for roofing now.

I sacrificed trending clothes, living in flat just managing a room a time,sometimes sleeping in my office,no friends that could increase my expenses no girlfriend.

You can start with any amount available it got to a point that u started thinking of how many block can I get from this amount I was to spend on some things.
