Op,the "If you hit a woman , you become less a man" isn't to cage or manipulate you but to elevate your thinking,self discipline and maturity in handling violence.

Women are known to sometimes act irrational, appalling,uncontrollable,Aggressive and Emotional, Some act before thinking. But it is expected of Man to act calmly when they are in their hypersensitive state. Not because he is a fool or because he is weak but for sanity sake.

Humans irrespective of genders must learn to control their reactions. No one is anyone's fool! Male or Female, act humanly! . It is very wrong to treat a fellow being badly and expect to be praised or ignored, When we see each other the way we see ourselves, we will treat one another nicely.
Sanity demands : In a tensed environment or situation, there must be two opposite reactions. One partner must be calm while the other foams else conflagration is set to occur.

Yes. He roofed the top with aluminium and POP for ceiling.
All the pillars/columns were extended and a chain lintel and beam at the top for the roofing.. and like three courses of blocks on the external walls... and floors/decking slab was tiled. Looks real nice for entertainment.

What a friend of mine did was to have the slab and then raised like 3 courses of block around the house and then still roofed it with aluminium...
the floor was tiled as regular, so the upper level was used for recreation events...

You keep mentioning german floor repeatedly. What I mentioned is for the walls alone(where blocks run). And I know all the reasons for it. Now as regards the concrete thickness he can choose to do a minimum of 4" thickness

There are lots of less economical approach to the subject matter. It's all a matter of choice.

Well I do not know what most people do over there.
This is what we do over here.
You can use R12(preferred) or R10.
Tell your iron bender to do same thing as for lintel. It should run continuous on all walls in the building. If you want to be economical you do it on all external walls and major walls cutting across the building. Depending on the span of your structure you can choose to introduce columns at all ends of your structure.

Lemme explain this to you the best way I can,have it at the back of your mind that we are all learning.

Now,you have a girlfriend/wife who is violent and tries to ruffle you up during an argument and as a man you get angry, you don't want to hit her,you refrain,you even manage to escape her because she is a woman.

You are doing that because you have self discipline.
It is established that men are generally physically stronger than women,now imagine you react back by giving her a hot slap,she can go deaf or blind or have serious headache etc. But if a women who is weaker than you slaps you,it hardly have much lasting effect on you.

But generally my advice for men and women is to avoid such violent people,take them for therapy,keep praying for them,then don't let them influence kids around them.
Mos violent people are influenced by their upbringing.

Thanks all for ur input, this particular client is trying by all means to reduce the cost of this building so telling him to do roof beam is like a wasting of effort and time cos he will tell U he didn't do that in his first building and it is still standing till date .I wish clients will come to understand that no part of Building elements is not necessary.

Hello people.

I just need some inputs and advice concerning my situation. 

I have just completed the foundation for my twin flats (2bed and 1bedroom) and I'm about to take a decision on the German flooring. 

Due to cost constraints I have at the moment, I'm forced to think of other options that will possibly achieve the same end results. 

Instead of German flooring, I'm considering a 150mm thick concrete layer on the blocks alone throughout the entire foundation. I'm of the opinion that this option will stop ingress of moisture from the soil to the superstructure, prevent insects and rodents from moving through the soil to the roof, offer some sort of atabilizatin for the building and of course drastically reduce the cost associaTed with filling the entire foundation with concrete.

I'll like that you please look into my idea and advise me based on your experience.

I do not know your cash constraints but it would be economical to do the flooring with a mixture of sharp sand and fine coarse (3/8" or coarse alone.

Nonetheless I'm sure you know that which you intend doing will be reinforced.

The temporary slip can only be used to open a tier one and two accounts. In fact, for tier one, they can waive the ID stuff but no one will call it tier one savings account for you, the person who opened it knows what he/she did.

Banks or should I say most that I know, don't accept nimc temporary slip as a valid means of identification.

NIMC should contact NIBSS instead of trying to exchange word with Sterling. I think they are speaking from the position of all banks. Compliance won't even allow the account be opened with that paper
