Kunbi was doing a fitting for a client, Idunnu (jewelry makerMisayoHouse), who also happens to be Lanre’s brother’s wife, and she thought her brother-in-law would be perfect for Kunbi, so she introduced them.

Ex-militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, has been declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The anti-graft agency in a full page advert yesterday urged the public to offer useful information on his whereabouts.

So an armed man who believed he was confronting an intruder in the basement of his home Tuesday morning instead fatally shot his 14-year-old son, who was supposed to be on his way to school, police said.
Police said the teen had headed to the bus stop but apparently came back home through a back door. The man said he heard a noise in the basement. Police said when the father opened a door within the basement, the boy appeared.

"He scared me!" the distraught father said in his 911 call shortly before 6:30 a.m. "I thought he was in school.

So Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, on Thursday announced that a low-interest loan scheme for one million young graduates would commence next year.

The governor said the special loan scheme, which would be managed by the central bank in collaboration with commercial banks, was part of the strategy of the Federal Government to boost the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises sub-sector and curtail unemployment among the youth.

Emefiele made the disclosure in Lagos during the opening ceremony of the seventh Annual Bankers’ Committee Retreat.

Faleke stated this at a meeting of APC stakeholders in Kogi West Senatorial District in Kabba, Kogi State on Monday

He explained that this was in furtherance of his earlier letter to the national leadership of the party not to work with Bello, then governorship candidate.

Faleke, who was reacting to resolutions reached at the meeting that he should pursue the legal option to a logical conclusion, held that the Audu/Faleke ticket remained intact and unchanged.

Magistrate O. A Ogunbowale of an Igbosere Magistrate’s Court, Lagos State has remanded a 45-year-old security man, Musa Mohammed in prison custody over alleged rape of a 15-year-old boy.

The defendant is facing a two -count charge of assault and rape preferred against him by the police.

The prosecutor, Inspector Asu Feddy said that the security man who resides on 30, Glover Road, Ikoyi committed the alleged offences on November 9, 2015, at 4:10p.m.

The prosecutor said, “The defendant forcefully raped the boy.”

However when the charge was read to the defendant, he pleaded guilty.

A 42-year-old unemployed man was crowned Zimbabwe's ugliest man at a pub pageant in Harare -- but the contest turned ugly when the runner-up accused judges of bias.


Maison Sere, who was missing several teeth and dressed in torn overalls, beat off five other contestants for the $500 Mr Ugly prize -- a large sum in a country facing massive unemploment.
"I want to thank God for winning this title, last time I came fourth. I just want to thank the judges for recognising me as the winner," Sere told journalists
