why are we sooo irrational in our thinking...the conditions fasola worked with are quite different from what this regime is woking on. let me remind you that since theend of last year did things start to degenerate in Lagos...it went unoticed cuz we sooo much like wat Fasola did. the fact is the fall in oil prices is affecting and affected previos govt..i remember that therr were soo many unfinished roads everywerre...projects had to be suspended okadas started comming back cuz of elections...and lawlessness also started coming bsck...i also remember Fasolas first regime...he ddnt just get dat overwhelmy support overnight. it took over a year before his policies and plan started to yield results...so pls to me its still to early to begin to say a regime has failed or not..Goodluck started his regime very well but ow far did dat take us...the economy is tougher. theres too much curruption and ppl are too lawless and impatient...before i forget sef..Traffic in Lagos....i wont be suiprised if half of those who are in dis forum who drive dont break thevtraffic lights more dis days...the real problem to me are more in us...we are just toooo selfish uncultured and impatient...pls relax abeg |
butterflyatalan:you are right..a man is meant to cultivate his woman...trust me there are no exact approach to that...ur method might work for the submissive type but...I hear ppl say the silent treatment...some girls are used to the silent treatment as well...in fact the danger in silent treatment is that its an avenue to look outside...if u are really interested in nuturing her....im speaking of the rude, uncultured, unappreciative, abusive, arrogant and self centered type ...trust me beating her is an option....I know most folks wud say its wrong but to correct sometimes requires a lot of power...silent treatment is one, love is another...beating is also another option....love isnt the only method..it depends on who u are dealing with. |

So the millions of muslims in saudi arabia and the other millions who come for pilgrims from all over the world have suddenly stopped becoming models of islam but a bunch of unguarded ppl coming together claiming to be what they dont know are now the real models of Islam. I so laugh at this video...islam is not studied in schools...having a Phd or masters or what ever doesnt place anyone in a position of autority over what Islam is About...I hear quotes of half verses in the Quran tryin to justify his opinion...lol...im sure there are millions of muslims in tbe south west ere in lagos yet most dont share the same view. Killing is a grave offence in islam. if u kill z person is as though u have killed a whole nation and if u save a life is as though u saved a whole nation...dats what d Quran says...waris a ruthless event...to create peace war is inevitable |

I am a yoruba man, I know the king might have been out of lead to have expressed himself that way but that doesnt mean he has no point...he only adressed it poorly. I wanna appeal to yhe Igbos to pls be fair and for once not act selfish in choosin a leader. just as the Oba was uttered disrespectul word so also has the leaders of yur tribe in lagos done worse. the yorubas gave wat we all know we can never get in your own land out of maturity and justice, the same law that giudes you guides the yy yoruba man yet out of wat id call greed or self centredness u say its not enough, u want the whole thing...the choice of words, the actions portrayed with the presidential election clearly states that. such actions tells u really dont respect the wishes of those who accommodates you with peace n love. u really dont mind destroying wat has been carefully built over 16yrs to have way to ur personal gains...to me ins not about jimi or Ambode or who ever...its the attitude thats disrespectul to the indegenes who offered you a level playing field that defines howyou would be seen after d elections irrespective of who wins |
Governor Babatunde Fashola has dismissed the attack on his person by the Presidency over his comments that the Lekki robbery incident was successful due to the presence of President Jonathan in Lagos. The Lagos governor had while reacting to a robbery operation at the Lekki area of Lagos alleged that all security personnel in the state were deployed to protect the president, making the state porous and vulnerable to criminals, hence the reason for the robbery incident in Lekki where three policemen and a teenager were killed. But reacting, the Presidency through its spokesman, Reuben Abati said the statement was irresponsible and unintelligent of the person of Governor Babatunde Fashola. Fashola in a fresh statement has however reiterated his earlier position, saying that Abati was completely oblivious of the traffic and security situation in Lagos, going by his reaction. In the statement, Fashola further demystified the ‘real meaning’ of being unintelligent. The statement reads: “From the statement credited to the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity. Dr. Reuben Abatti over the comments of His Excellency, Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, on the deployment of police during the visit of the president, it is obvious he is ignorant of the traffic and security menace, his principal constitutes whenever he visits any part of the country. It should also interest the ‘Vuvuzuela’ of President Jonathan that during these visits, which most of the times are for campaign hustles, the entire Police and other security network are put on high alert to pay attention to the presidential visits leaving the citizens vulnerable to the reckless gallivanting of the visitor. ‘’Abati must be sleeping or indulging in his usual pastimes not to understand ‘route lining’ where every available policeman on duty is deployed to man routes where the President would pass through. It is not the statement of the Governor that is unintelligent, the unintelligent thing here is the inability of the President to weigh public interest above personal ambition. ‘’The unintelligent thing here is not to know the importance of the Police as an institution that deserves adequate funding to carry out its function of protecting life and property. The unintelligent thing is the Federal Government dodging its constitutional responsibility of which the Police is one of them. ‘’Governor Fashola is a very responsible Governor who put the people first ahead of himself, and this he has demonstrated over the years. He made reference to the dead policemen because he feels responsible to them. At the event, he prayed for the repose of their souls and enjoined the audience to stand with him in a one minute-silence over the fallen heroes whom he concluded died in the cause of serving their country. ‘’Abati could not comprehend why Governor Fashola would be shocked at the death of three policemen; we have not had such an experience in the past two years here in Lagos where policemen are killed by armed robbers. This is a different situation where it took the death of almost 20,000 citizens before someone started to take action. When the ocean surge was going to wipe out a whole community within the Lekki area, Fashola was there. ‘’When the Dana aircraft crashed in Iju, Fashola was not only there, his arrival at the scene was prompt, and for the first time in the history of Nigeria, we saw a systematic and methodological approach to emergency management. Mass DNA was conducted to identify the charred bodies of the victims. Trauma and psychological centres were established to attend to the families of the victims. As recent as few days ago, Fashola was at Papa Ashafa and Agege communities where rainstorm wreaked havoc. ‘’When Abati’s principal was holed up in Aso Rock Villa with his tails between his legs during the outbreak of the Ebola Virus in Nigeria, Fashola’s face was the succour and hope Nigerians saw. He was the only person the victims and survivors saw. ‘’So, this vuvuzuela should be courteous in his choice of words. We are, however, not surprised. Abatti is a serial reckless talker that likes listening to himself, and only thinks after talking. Latter converts like him acts up to become more Catholic than the Pope because of the fear to the past after the allure of office. His recent unguarded statement about General Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd) is still very fresh. ‘’If the retired General had not been a statesman, only God knows where Abati would be by now. It’s time someone close to this garrulous man tells him to start measuring his utterances.’’ http://dailypost.ng/2015/03/17/lekki-robbery-fashola-blasts-abati-over-ignorant-statement/ |
Let me inform you from real pracrical experience... 1 pure or fake honey would light a match stick for as long as it has negligible water content, 2 pure honey fake or not would attract ants, contrary to popular believes, ants are actually one of the threats to bee hives n why they migrate or abscond (using the beekeepers language) 3 pure honey comes in varying degree of thickness colour and opacity, its all in a function of where the bees source their nectar and the environment the honey is stored. 4 pure honey is best identified from its mild unpleasant smell and its mixed sweet n bitter taste. 5.honey when haarvested is sometimes not harvested properly so its mixed with bee pollen, proplis or wax. This is a good and bad quality has it tends to reduce ots shelf life but increases its quality. But if harvested properly it has the ability to last for years without spoilage 6.honey from bees are very good preservatives, so sometimes when u see dead bees in honey still looking as was alive. 7 honey produced from different hives have different properties and when u mix them together, it seperates its self. I was fortunate to serve in a state n community where bee farming is d predominant practice years back, original honey was well within ma reach, I took it up as a business coming back home n studied bee keeping coming back. |
kannymoore:Let me add to this, everyone complains of unemployment cuz people keep such thinking in mind...worst course! Really...we lack creativity in this country thats we never see where the potentials of individual courses lie...today every one is talking agriculture but what we dont realize is we depend on foreigners to give us the best seeds to grow crops, we need them to give us the best animals to culture if u really interested in making profit whereas these aremultibillion naira industries that havent bin explored locally effectively. Yes we produce but wat quality of yield do we produce, how do ww check for disease n shortcomings, we havent even finished exploring wat we eat not to speak of the drugs we use, the rubbers, timber, papers, furniture...these are all plant...maintained and nurtured by farmers n botanist...we wont grow if we dont know haw to reason beyond wats in existence...we run a manegerial economy where buying and selling is considered the best. Every artist that performs successfully has a bunch of soo many unseen professionals who naturally wont make it to ur top 10 or worse 10 but have more jobs that those u consider the hottest. |
Most of tbe coments here shows that alot of you didnt read the whole write up but only commenting based on d heading.... read and coment based on the write up..ud all sound more intelligent |
Slonge2:Contrary to what you have been programmed to believe....islam was spread by providing peaceful alternative to governance and standards of living and not with the sword...no man accepts faith with force, they can only pretend for awhile. Uthman dan fodio remains in the book of history as a hero and not an enemy because he brought in something good not just religion. Islam grew with convicton, developments enlightenments and not just with the sword....arabic numerals that we all use today has its history with jihad...scientists, scholars...al thier discoveries were to promote peace and progress...algebra that we all use would never be credited to islam cuz uv bin programmed to believe western education is where knowlede exist...google the history of algebra, algorith, astronomy...infact google islam and science and see how really islam was spread. U listen to half info n refuse to reason over its authenticity. Read btw the lines and stop being manipulated into taking your saviour as you enemy...its ur soul ud hurt eventually |
Pecca:its very straight foward, just google d names and ud see the history yourself...the history of mordern day mathematics n astrology began from islamic studies. ARABIC NUMERALS, ALGEBRA, ALGORITHM...you could extend your research to the ottom empire...history of turkey, real madrid...maybe ud see who really spead religion with the sword...read on the crusaders... |

drehdinho:kai your coments here shows how insensitive and selfish you chistains are...here in the south west u carry your religion like its the only religion that exists. On d radio, on tv etc...some stations and radios dont even mention anything islamic except its bad news, cool fm, channels, rhythm, stv...name them....its always one church programne or the nxt...in schools on assemblies only a few schs allow muslims say their prayers on friday..some dont even allow them go for jumat...how many offices do u know dat allow muslims worship as they aught to...all that deffinately means nothing cuz we dont complain, yet u are yelling here cuz some text was written in arabicon our currency dat was removed....really how more selfish cud u be. Look if u guys cant see how much tolerance your immediate muslim neighbor is that u suddenly feel threatened cuz someppl who you dont really know are perlertuating crime in d name of religion. If u see recognize them more that those uv continually lived with in peace all these while then id just say u looking for reasons to hate what has really done u any harm...boko haram is an enemy of the state, its an enemy to islam just as it is to chhistainity and other tribes that dont share their sentiment. Unfortinately, only those who have wisdom wouldunderstand beyond wats metions and make corrections where neccessay others which I can see fall into the majority here would only keep ranting and ranting over wat hasnt harmed u...na una sabi |
abdulwastecx:the sun and the moon catching up in the holy Quran has nothing to do with you over long unrelated explanation....thats an explanation of day and night and time differences...day and night lengths are responsible for a whole lot of hemoestatic balances, biological clocks and a host of other scientific backgrounds...when esclipse happens it has nothing to do with catching up...its simply Aligning of the heavenly bodies...1234567890 are called arabic numerals...why is that so? Months were counted to 10 but from this info from the Quran...it was deduced that there should be 12...eg october, oct 8 but is the 10th month.november, nova which means 9 is the 11th month and december, deca which means10 is the 12th month...Algebra and algorith, morden day clocks etc all had it foundation from what u in ur littlethinking see as wrong or faulty were as its wat gave birth to modern day science when the world was in confusion. Before u make assupmtions like this pls again read vast an not just wat someone wrote to confuse u. Unlike ur thinking as its made to be believed by todays world that islam was spread by the sword...it spread through science...islam8c scientist, surgeons, mathmatetians. ..etc they solved ppl problem...they had strong architects, engineers...go round the world where islam once dominated...see for ur self...read on how islam was in spain and how it was overthown...maybe ud see who really used the sword in spreading their gospel |
[quote author=qtx post=28107701]What is this man talking about? If the issue is minor why are people including you nagging about it? Do you know how many christians have been killed in this country recently , churches burnt all because they are not muslims? Ismaic clerics and congregations are continually wipped off... What issue is more sensitive than the safety and security of lives? Let us just keep praying God continues to water the hearts of christians bc one thing i know is that guns, bombs, knives and whatever can be carried and used even by Christians as well and not only by muslims alone. [quote]so when bombs go off in the north it only kills chistains, when there are shoot outs it only kills chirstains, the market places, schools, banks are strictly christains...reason, the notherners are the victims, the muslims in majority...who are those that live in fear? Ur concern is dat churches are burnt and chirstains are killed but truthfully u forget to be honest...it kills all irrespective of tribe or religion. U live in safety here in the south or southwest yet u accuse the victims of causing harm on them selves |
Pecca:its called arabic numerals because the concept of numbering from 0 to 9, algebra and algorithm was modified with the then islamic mathematical Scholars and scientist...they laid the foundation of modern arithmetic and astrology...dats not to say the figures are arabic |
Built2last:so since those arabic text have been on the notes has it threatened the existence of chirstains b4 now or has it made muslims stronger. The north speaks more of hausa and arabic yet cuz u dominated in the south u believe the whole of nigeria is like here in the south west...I feel all these actions are the sor es of these religious tensions....and most of tbe coments here are fueling it with too much sentiments...how really does its removal help anyone |
abdulwastecx:You really need to read into history objectively, contrary to your opinion, The Quran was the source of a major astrological correction of the Earth being flat where as the earth was oval shapped, this paved the way to correct the months which used to be 10 months being corrected to 12 months, the bane of mordern day arithmetic originated from islamic Scholars who were great scientists,...Algebra, Algorithm etc, mordern medicine was not left out...read on Absinia...those who study medicine should know his history...contrary to ur understanding God Challenges any one to do tje research and see if they can match that genieness. Based on this trust some dod n verified it and dat paved way for better learning and reaearch...read this history properly n onjectively pls. Till today ots not everything that can easily be comprehended by the human brain...u want to prove if Heaven exist or not...id sugest you start by showing the word the proof of all your dreams when you sleep and probably a prediction of what next you would dream about...if you truely read the Quran chronologically as u claimed u did im sure u would understand wat I say but im sure u didnt but just picked up a few verses n chapters to drive home your points that why u claim u have read it all...trust me if u did read it ALLwith an open mind ud understand better |
Jinns are universal, they are called demons by Christians, alijonu by yorubas...the idea of exorcism is to remove jinns or demons etc...when ppl are possessed its cuz some of the jinns have taken over thier body. We see this in american movies, yoruba movies etc...so really its not just restricted to Islam. Yea, islam recognized their existence and recommends how to avoid them and over power them but thats not to say its all stated in the holy Quran like Empire has quoted. Some of what he said are expantiated in the fiqhus, sunnahs and hadiths...pls lets be careful not to say whats not in the Holy Quran and then say it is. May Allah forgive our short comings and reward our good intentions. Those who know the powers of these jinns and how to invoke them know the difference...ppl who do money rituals, disappearing acts, jazz, seeing into the future, etc mostly invoke the powers of these jinns...so religious or no religious...thats the source of Evil...thats not to say thereare no goodjinns, just as empire said, they have thier own community of Christian s, muslims and pagans...denying their existence is ones personal poing of view, true or not.. na u go sabi..lol |

One of our bigest problems in this country is our inability to reason objectively, I mean think through it for some minutes before concluding... most of us who are able to pass comment here live in no fear of attacks because we hardly witness any...think like u live in d north, do you know the level of fear in them naw, do you know how traumatic their lives are...in a scale of 100...im sure at least 70 percent would be living in fear and then these are the people you accuse of making their lives miserable..bombs dont seperate religions or tribes...it kills people..anyone...that terrorism, it could be here it could be dere it could be anywhere...and then they would say they want to islamatize nigeria, reason...wheres the logic in that, wheres it done dat ppl terrorize and kill to gain congregation....ppl flee from such...the idea is to make ppl flee..and then use words to cause confussion. They accuse buhari...really, his levarage is in the north, how many of them would really want to come out to vote if thats where they live in fear or yes he would bomb them out of their houses tp vote...reason objectively and see who the real victims are and who really stands togain from all these...dont judge with sentiments of tribe or religion but an objective Nigerian |
Most of the time you'll see that once that bogus complain is busted they just walk away from it and jump on the next bullshit. Im sure even they arent delsional enough to actually beleive their own bullshit (well some of them are i guess) so its kinda pointless trying to even address their attitude.
