Hi everyone,

Has anyone experienced something similar?

I'm trying to book an appointment for my mum. I made the payment using my card, but I didn’t receive any confirmation, and I was logged out of the system. When I logged back in, I was able to proceed to the next step and saw that I could book an appointment slot but I still haven’t received any confirmation of the payment.

Also, is there a way to monitor available appointment dates for Lagos?

I'm in this same boat, got confirmation of payment but the OIS website shown error and no confirmation of appointment email

This happened to me too. I just told my mum to still go to dhl with the payment confirmation email. Luckily i snipped the initial appointment confirmation screen (before payment) so she took that along too and was able to get her passport.

Actually, the passport was initially returned due to the passport photograph being deemed too old. My mum retrieved the passport and resubmitted a new set of photos. The status changed to approved three days after the new photos were submitted.

Did you track after you submitted last week and did it at any time move from application received to issued? If yes, then I would assume the info on OIS is correct. If you are not in a hurry to collect your passport, I would recommend you give it some days.

Now OIS sent me a message that my passport is ready for pickup but ceac still says Received

Is it possible for OIS tracking to say your passport is ready for pickup but ceac still says application received ?

IW was submitted last week Wednesday

Malta has no embassy in Nigeria, u have to apply through the Italian embassy which means u will apply through VFS Italy if its a short stay but if its a long stay u will apply at the Italian General consulate. I am a film maker also, which film school do you intend to go?

Is this information still correct? Need a short stay visa for a vacation.

I don't think you can cancel. I had the same issue a while back and when I called to try and reschedule or cancel, I was told I can't. They said what I can do is wait for the appointment date, do not show up and once the appointment has elapsed, you should be able to reschedule immediately after (from the next day). I believe the option for rescheduling will come up on your profile.

But you should call and confirm this information again. Things could have changed.

Anyone know how I can cancel my IW appointment for my mum? I don't see the option when log.

Unfortunately something came up and she has to be in UK in July so got to cancel for another time.

I got the email after I posted this. But the problem is only July available. I wonder if I there will be earlier dates anytime soon.

You’ll receive an email once your request is approved." This seems new to me. Is this normal, and how long do they normally take to respond?

I got same yesterday when trying to schedule dropbox interview. Did you hear back from them yet?

I have a naija birth certificate and my husband, an affidavit which we used for ours, and we didn't have any problem during our adjustment of status (Though it was via an employer).

I am sure its fine.

That's not true. I just finished my building carcass with roof and my Engr built it. Engr just have to be a certified engineer. Though they have other issues so you may need to consider.

I have seen the movie.... but most of the reviews point are more about doctrine and not really about the movie. I don't agree with many of his views not because the movie is 100% but because I don't agree with his doctrine.

BTW the movie is 1+ hr there is no time to show ALL the repentance process or everything involved with winning a backsliding person. You learn this process not from just a film. Learn something from the movie and move on.

1st, pregnancy date is counted from the day of your last period not the day you conceived.

So if your wife period started May 12th, then she is almost 7weeks pregnant.

2nd, Scan uses the size of the baby at a time to predict the age, this may change and vary everytime a scan done. Also big babies appear older with a scan.

Did you sign on a long piece of paper with Nigeria coat of arms (marriage certificate)?
Did you go back to the registry after the wedding....

If the answer is No, you are Not married in the eyes of the law..
But the only confusion is most orthodox churches usually follow the normal procedure before they wed anyone. Surprise a Catholic Church gave out that certificate.

I don't think you need unblock international calls. I use T-Mobile, I blocked international calls but I can still text to international numbers.
