When you don't things, u ask so u can be lectured. The symbian u claim to use was under used. If you had had hacked your symbian phone back then ,u wld do the Wifi printing seamlessly

Regarding security, bb10 wins here and widows follows. Quit spewing shitloads of cràps when you know nothing.
icloud got hacked sometime ago leaking out nude pictures of its customers. It still got hacked recently thereby putting your phone at risk with just the use of sms

Value retainship, yes iPhone retains value so does some androids like htc and Sony.
Mister don't come here and spew trash. No symbian phone and I repeat none could print through Wifi. Your cheap attempt at using hacking as an avenue to use wifi to print on a symbian phone makes it very senseless. Its like say you hack a phone not compliant with 3G to work with 3G its simply impossible.

Before you can print a document from any platform there has to be an hidden code script linking the document maker with the printer through the wifi. Or are you telling me that you will hack your symbian phone by inputting the code. Its lame and its making you look stupid, please stop.

FYI hacking back then was used to unlock hidden functionalities not to create and insert new codes. Even till date there's limit to how you can insert codes into devices especially when you have very little knowledge of the type of coding used to create the OS like the iOS.

Mr man. Anything that is in the cloud can be accessed by anyone cos its on a public platform INTERNET. Am talking about data security on the phone and not in the cloud.

VALUE RETAINERSHIP: Sony? HTC? Are kidding me right now?

So talk about best functions and features.

1. Iphones don't hang unlike androids (try playing temple run on it)

2. Multiple camera shots per second, fastest camera shot (later copied by samsung).

3. Panorama camera shots (later copied by samsung)

4. First phone to introduce high storage capacity(later copied by others)

5. First OS to introduce cloud storage

6. First phone to introduce VPN.

7. First OS to guide against Piracy. iTunes

8. First smartphone with a faceless charger

9. First phone to introduce tablet.

10. Coming up.

What Y'all don't understand is that fact that iPhones and Samsung are sold for the same price in the U.S., what you should do is ask your retailers why the prices varies in Nigeria, what a new smart phone is launched in the U.S., it's sold for $699 and iPhone is not left out, it's only when they get to our market here that we see crazy prices. I don't stand to be corrected on this one, it's fact, it's when you include tax that the price falls to $741 or thereabout depending on the state you purchasing from
Yes they may be sold for the same price but let's go back after few years to see the price difference.

Lol Sony xperia Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4 has that function. wink
eromspete:
I'd like you to know that this feature is not exclusive to the iOS devices.

All the Samsung devices I've ever used were able to print wirelessly (Note 3, S5, and S6). I currently have and use a wireless printer with my Android phone.

I'm sure other Android devices print via wireless as well.

What else does your phone do?
ollah1:
Dude don't go too far ehnn, my symbian back then does these things seamlessly. I mean one time thing, regarding Nano sim (yes, Apple introduced it first) does that mean anything. Do you know the number for things android introduced first? Do you know the number of features on iOS 7 till ios 8.4 that was stolen from other os and uis? When ios 9 debuts, u will still see more of it
Symbian with wifi? Guy take it easy with the lies now common. I used symbian phone too(N90, N91, N92) yes they print with cable and maybe bluetooth but through wifi? When did wifi printers even entered the market.? And please we're talking smartphones here(iOS, Android OS, Blackberry OS, Windows phones)

I would have taken you guys on on who introduced the Wifi printing but let's rest it since y'all have copied it.

Ok thank God someone knows Iphone introduced nano sim.

So let's move to the next class students. Our next topic is SECURITY.

Which phone is most secured against Virus invasion and hacking?

When you get it the next topic shall be VALUE RETAINERSHIP

Apart from the bragging rights of how much it costs.... What else?
In camera Lumia Windows Phone makes iPhone a learner....
Battery life Lumia Windows Phone setting the pace
I will give you only one of the things Iphone does and when you get another phone that does that you can come back for the second lesson.

I once stood at the front desk of Etisalat experience center at Allen avenue with my iPhone 5. Their service was horribly slow so typed a text on my phone which reads "YOUR SERVICE IS TOO SLOW", copied and paste to fill the whole page and then sent about 10copies to their printer that was on the Wifi. I was being attended to when one of their staffs came with the printouts to ask his colleagues who sent the printout. I actually went there to buy an Nano sim (iphone being the first phone to use it).

In my Office in Ikeja GRA then, our office was using a duplex building. Instead of climbing the stairs with my Laptop to connect to the printer stationed upstairs before printing a 300page proposal sent to me for printing, I will access my mail on my Iphone and send the document to the printer's WiFi while doing other things on my laptop without leaving my desk until after some minutes that I believe the documents must have been printed completely.

When you get another phone that does something similar, come for a second class.

Alright.
Tell lagos state to supply the dry dock the necessary raw materials.
Afterall, someone said feasibility studies was carried out.
Raw materials?

Do you even know what a dry dock is? I doubt.

FYI Dry docks don't need your useless oil. Its just a workshop for construction and repair of vessels and ships.

Obviously Lagos/badagary has more ships berthing on its shores more than the whole ND combined.

Another advantage is its close proximity to other african countries who can bring their ships and vessels there for repairs. Talk of feasibility studies.

So next time your Jobless Illiterate Rogues Youths starts agitating for something you should get an education from google first before joining and making yourself look stvpid in the process.

ADVICE: Tell your brothers to clear the water ways of pirates and make the place secure first before calling for investments. No sane company will want to locate its investment in a volatile environment.

How is badagry more feasible for a dry dock ?
Your country is afflicted with tribalism. Don't be an ostrich.
So when has it become the job of ND jobless youths to tell privately owned companies where to site their business.

Why can't they site the dock in Badagary.
Why didn't they tell Dangote to site his refinery in ND.

Politics › Re: Let's Look At Buhari's Appointments From Another Angle by jomoh: 12:20pm On Aug 29, 2015
bushdoc9919:
All the more reason why you Nigerians...Northerners and Southerners....should get your state governors working on diversifying the economy so that there may be jobs for all.

And anyway....federal character provisions make it increasingly difficult to employ people from one tribe/section.Nowadays...you have to submit potential employee lists to the Fed Character commission for approval.(Especially jobs like Customs....where you must employ from all tribes for the rank and file.).

And some Northerners too have employment issuesZ(I read about a Hausa guy from Kaduna who has no job post graduation).....and in the private sector....more Southerners are employed/owning businesses than Northerners.(Shoprite in Kano employs mostly Southerners. And the Banking sector is Southerner run).

I am a Southerner by the way.....and I think that govt work is overrated. We must diversify....because oil prices have fallen....and I doubt there would be enough cash to create new jobs in government.
The fact that Northerners don't occupy private sector has also given credence to my submission.

They mostly don't care about Private sector since they know they can grow and have a great career in public sector stealing and growing fat doing little.

70% of huge shopping/office complexes in Abuja are owned by retired civil servants of Northern extractions who had gotten rich from public service at the expense of the public and other regions.
Politics › Re: Let's Look At Buhari's Appointments From Another Angle by jomoh: 6:43am On Aug 29, 2015
Sweetlemon:
Since it's in vogue to check demographics of appointees rather than their track records, very well then we shall do so. While most of us are shouting "Northern Agenda" Let's take a closer look at this expression called "North". Let's be sincere, when we hear North, the first thing that comes to mind is Hausa/Fulani/Muslim. But we have all forgotten or simply refused to learn that North is divided into
Geographically:
1. North East
2. North West
3. North Central

Demographically:
1. Core Muslim
2. Almost 200 Minority tribes
3. A fair chunk of Christian population
4. Hausa/Fulani plus Kanuri Majority Tribes

Simply put, the North is 5 times more complex than the South.
Now let's examine possible reasons why we just assume North to be Hausa/Fulani/Muslim. The answer is not rocket science. It's simply because Hausas and Fulanis have been dominating the Northern scene since forever. Now let's take a closer look at Buhari's Northern appointments so far;
Did we miss the fact that a fair number of the ones in sensitive posts are from minority tribes and in fact Christians??
Now help me ask yourselves, when last did Northern Christians get recognition? When last did we hear of tribes like Kilba, Angas, Tula, Waja? Is it not indeed some sort of change from the usual Hausa/Fulani/SS/Yoruba/Igbo/Muslim we keep hearing all over the place? Ok nau. Are we aware of the SGF is a Pastor of proven integrity? Don't you think that empowering and recognizing the Christians and minority tribes will go a long way in checking insurgencies and attacks on these vulnerable people by Fulani herdsmen, etc? Are you now trying to say that these minorities in the North who have never been given recognition but have been patiently waiting are lower and inferior Nigerians? Don't they deserve spots just like the conventional Yorubas which make up SW, Igbos which make up SE and then the different SS tribes?

I'm not done yet. Have we noticed that these appointees are not your usual politicians? Does that not mean that it won't be the "awon goons mi" business as usual? They were almost regular people until Buhari made them popular, meaning they don't have a never-ending list of goons they need to reward. I know most disappointed APC fans had placed their bets on Onu, Fashola, and Ameachi. They have erroneously seen Nigeria politics as a sport betting game or a fantasy football league where you conjure up your own "dream team". Smh.

If we still insist on this marginalization talk can we ask ourselves these questions?;

1. Is there more stable electricity in North than in the south?
2. The clean up in sectors so far, does it in the long run affect only Northerners? If the EFCC, Customs, pensions, NNPC etc are functioning properly does it not mean better for us as a whole? When last did you queue for fuel?
3. Buhari just ordered clean up of ogoni areas, (let's not forget we just had an ND son there for the past five years!) Are Northerners the ones to benefit from this exercise?

Can we please just relax our muscles a bit while we watch how things eventually play out?
I don't know why the average Nigerian does not think outside the box. These points here are things I pray each and every person reading this will ponder on with at least half an open mind. This is the first time I will be begging the mods to move my thread to FP. My message must touch as many hearts as possible.
Call me a hopeless Nigeria-lover. Yeah I know I am because I'm the type that loves with all my heart, I may get angry but I still love. smiley

Good bless The Federal Rebublic of Nigeria!
Sai Buhari!

Cheers!

Honestly I share your valuable opinion and I hold it in high regards but let's look at this from another angle.

Apart from the greedy politicians who want their goons/protege to be appointed, the reason why most ordinary Nigerians like me shout is the future. Future in the sense that, presently Buhari may be able to perform with this people and no doubt that we all enjoy the output but one thing you forget is that this people will have a very huge influence in the recruitment process of people that will run whichever parastatal they head. Who says the fact that they are technocrats that they cannot be ethnic bigots who will favour their own people above other tribes like we already have in most ministries.

We shout unemployment everyday but have you ever considered how many Northern graduates are unemployed compared to the south? and before anyone says I should also compare the number of northern graduates to that of the south, ask yourself, who's fault? The truth is that they don't look for job. Once they graduate its either a family business awaits them to join(for the influential/wealthy ones) or a government job awaits them. The fact is that there's no Unemployment in the north. Only unqualified youths. Visit most government ministries and parastatals in Abuja you get a hint.

If tomorrow FG decides to create employment opportunity, this guys will have the control.

You can Imagine if the people he appoints also appoints Northerners as trusted allies who also appoints Northerners then the northern Pyramid of appointment goes on until it gets to employments.

Am still a Buhari Fan and I trust his judgements on governance but I don't trust the people he's appointing as it relates to recruitment of our youths.

Except he wants to tell us SE,SS,SW don't have technocrats that are trustworthy.

the world and Nigeria of the 60's is not the same with that of today... any attempt at genocide on the Igbos or any ethnic segment in the country will totally disintegrate the already severing union...
Even though I'm never in support of genocide against any tribe what-so-ever, The Igbos have no moral justification to accuse any tribe of genocide against them going by the events that unfolded during the First Military Coup.

You just cant murder the leaders of any tribe like they did then without expecting any response. Even the most docile of tribes would react.

So I have a very good friend, let's call her Mary. She moved into a new apartment some weeks ago and we were all happy about it. But today, she informed me that NEPA/PHCN/KEDCO or whatever they call themselves these days, disconnected her light.

According to her, she was informed that the apartment owed about five months of light bill. But she just moved in last month!

My questions are;

Is she supposed to pay for the previous months when she hadn't even moved in yet when the bill accumulated?

The previous occupants of the apartment moved out about 3months ago, so they owed just two months before they left. Who used the electricity they charged for the following three months?

Guys/ladies in the house that work there should clarify me on this abeg...

cc: Lalasticlala
let her tell the landlord to pay and if the landlord refuses, she should remove the money from the next rent or she shouldn't make any contribution in the compound again.

How can I pay for what I didn't enjoy? Who knows, the previous tenant might have paid to the landlord while the landlord spent it? Just saying.
