Jobs/Vacancies › Re: As A Christian Can You Work For A Muslim As... by jomoh: 9:36pm On Jun 02, 2021 |
No Muslim family will ever stop you from going to church nor refuse to give you food cos they’re fasting but don’t expect them to go out of their way to make you food while they’re fasting. They won’t stop you from accessing their foods if you had access to it prior to fasting.
You’re only expressing fear of what you know most Christians do to Muslims working under them.
This is like a predator walking into the territory of the prey thinking he’d be treated same way preys are treated by his fellow predators. |

Esseite: When we talk about damning the consequences, do you also realise we are in a recessive economy with inflation figures in double digits?...
Where do we place the "shed" people?.. See it all depends on the sincerity of the govt. The money to be saved goes somewhere that will take care of another set of people who will now be more productive. Say a % goes to the retained workers(increased disposable income)/ better motivation and increased productivity. A % goes to other sectors that will employ other people equally with better productivity. |
Politics › Re: Kaduna labour crisis: NLC Threatens National Strike by jomoh: 6:18am On May 19, 2021 |
Esseite: So how does sacking 45,000 workforce help the situation when he never employed another 45,000 to replace the sacked workforce?
Would that not affect society? Would that not affect insecurity? Would that not affect out of school children Would that not affect poverty figures?
The multiple effect of this right now cant be compared to what ever advantage right now. A man on ground fears no fall. Nigeria is already on ground. The only way we can go if we get it right is the top. We won’t get to the top if we don’t shed part of the loads(troubles) that got us to the ground. The redundant Civil service is a major part of what brought us to the floor. People who receive free salary without working for it. They give birth at high rate upon free salary. No productivity. It is either we damn the consequence now and grow or we fear the consequences and keep coming back to the ground. The choose is ours. |
Politics › Re: Kaduna labour crisis: NLC Threatens National Strike by jomoh: 5:56am On May 19, 2021 |
SmartPolician: Who doesn't know that civil service in Nigeria is overbloated with unproductive people? Every governor that comes in use the civil service to compensate his friends and community, rocketing their salaries. That's why recurrent budgets are triple of capital budgets...which is absolutely abnormal for a developing country.
They come to work every morning, gisiting and selling things in their office. You see bunch of newpapers and they just talk about politics, sports, etc. Some of them come to work any day they want. Some just fill the attendance register and rush to their side hustle. At the end of the month, they want to be paid salaries. Salaries for doing what exactly?
Besides, el-Rufai has always complained that many teachers in Kaduna can't even spell their names correctly. Now, you ask yourself: What exactly have they been teaching pupils and students?
I continue to say that Nigeria needs sweeping reforms. We cannot continue to do stupid things and expect positive results. When it comes to the country or government, we prioritize sentiments. But when it comes to our personal businesses, we put competence first. And someone is still worried that the country isn't making any progress. Nigerians are too emotional for a country that wants to develop. Imagine people will still support NLC against the illegality they’re about to embark on. Because NLC has problem with a state governor, the whole country should suffer. That’s economic sabotage. The same thing Elrufai is fighting them for in Kaduna state, they want to replicate it on the whole country. I trust rivers state Governor sha. They dare not try that nonsense with him. We need better union laws in this country. |

I don't actually want to be the one who tells her to leave.
She should make that choice herself Personally I’d advise you don’t let her in at all. Let her report to her parents and they should be the judge. If you let her in and go without your parents knowing the true picture, that girl will cook up stories against you and it’s the word of a man against a woman(if you know what I mean). Plus she has friends already and you don’t know what she’s been telling her friends or what her friends can do for her against you. Keep her out until her parents interfere. |

Apart from the Fine of making the MD repeat himself(still avoidable with proper concentration) there’s absolutely none on that list that can’t be avoided and on a normal day should be the benchmarks. Then how many times will they have contact with the MD and allow many people will? If you get deducted anything above 15% in 3months your work attitude should be questioned. |

He said “all variables are right there” like the land topography will be the same all through and no road side building will be affected by the expansion, no compensation calculation, no new rocks will be met etc. Everything will just remain constant as it was before the expansion. Iwo road modern park, Airport road/Welfare/Back of Gbagi Market, Loyola road and that frustrating one-way bridge etc
Don't trust what you read here...some of them have never been to Oyo State You entered Ib yesterday and you already have opinion above those of us who has been living there for years. I stayed around that Loyola towards airport, gbagi for almost 5years until December last year not a single meter of tarred road has been added since Seyi cake in. Everything was done under Ajimobi. The only thing SEYI has done on that road is to expand the drainage bridge at Onipepeye for easy flow of the drainage. The road leading to iwo road was done by Ajimobi. Why will a Dane government with high poverty level be constructing ultra Modern park when there are many roads left uncompleted. Akobo road is still as dusty as Ajimobi left it. Less than 5% has been added since he came to power. You came from wherever and within a day you already have opinion about a state. Will you go and sit down. |

paulolee: no lies but we cnt rule out anything because i lost a huge bet on wilder before he waa disgraced by fury... remember the last match they both had, wilder nearly defeated fury after knocking him down twice.. You got it wrong it was fury that knocked wilder down twice and still they judged the fight to be a tie. That was when Floyd mayweather angrily stormed out of the venue because he knew the American judges were protecting wilder. That was a fury that just came back to fight after 3years without a single fight. If someone that came back after 3years without a fight can nearly knock out wilder, it should’ve given you an hint. Not to mention the retinue of hints that showed wilder wasn’t really a good fighter but a protected one. I can’t type everything but I’d help you get something to read up that will show you that wilder should never have been in a top ten in the first place. |

paulolee: there was a time that Joshua and wilder was on everyone's lips arguing for who the strongest is because both were on winning a winning streak... there came fury that said he would beat both of them easily and people thought he was joking not until he took wilder to the cleaners.. with what i saw that day, all i can say is that this fury guy is the best heavy weight fighter for now.. but boxing is all about technique and maybe he knew wilder soo well because it was too easy for him.. but i wont be surprised if AJ defeat fury and also wilder letter gets to knock out AJ.. thats boxing for you, it do happens in football too.. can't wait for fury vs AJ and i know it wont be an easy win for whoever wins it.. If wilder should beat anyone after the way fury exposed his one handed technic then the boxer should either fire all his trainers or retire from boxing. The fact is that fury clearly exposed wilder has being one handed. Just block his right hand and keep pounding him. |
