Focus: I Will keep Passover at Your House

WORD FOR TODAY
The fact that we will all leave the world naked just as we came, justifies the fact that everything you have is given to you and nothing actually is truly yours. Your life is prepared to meet the Lord's need in every bid to fulfill His purpose on earth!!!

"And He said, "Go into the city to a certain man, and say to him, "The Teacher says, "My time is at hand; I will keep the Passover at your house with My disciples."" (Matthew 26:18 NKJV).

Every man of destiny submits his best for the saviour's use. If the Lord must stand by your side to bring His word to pass, you must always allow Him to keep passover in your House.

The man who received the message, in our text, accepted Him and we will continue to give him this credit even though we don't know his name. He is part of the success story of the redemption we have today.

Similarly, we don't know the name of the man who owned the colt on which Jesus rode into Jerusalem. He released it because the Lord needed it. We are not only reading about it but that action brought about the fulfillment of God's word.

We cannot but also talk about the Shunammite Woman who allowed Elisha to keep passover in her house; she wasn't comfortable seeing the man of God passing by; but prepared a chamber for Him. The aftermath of her action was that she bore a son after years of waiting.

At this point, Jesus is saying "my time is near, I will keep a passover in your house". Each time He comes in any form do not withhold your best and things at your disposal from Him.

The Lord will not but always acknowledge, defend and take responsibility of every actions done towards the fulfillment of His purpose on earth!!!

Human knowledge no matter how wonderful and vast it appears to be, is still shallow because we are designed to know in part. Therefore, we ought to be very careful when passing judgement over the deeds of men. There is a part in every action of a man that will remain either a mystery or untold.

Nevertheless, this does not change the undeniable facts presented through the word of God with respect to the deeds of men. The Lord will not but always defend His people who truly work and walk according to His will. Their lives and deeds will never put a question mark about their personality in the hearts of men nor defeat the course of righteousness because the Lord will always stand by their side to bring His words to pass.

As for the woman in our text, Jesus said what she did for Him; is not a waste but for a purpose. If there be any service to be rendered; let it fulfill the purpose of God.

Focus: The Day of God's Visitation

The fairness of God over all creation is seen in the fact that every man has an appointed time of divine visitation!!!

"So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites." (Exodus 3:8 NKJV).

At the break of a particular day the Lord made it known to Moses that He came down just to put an end to the slavery of the Israelites and also to give them a new experience. This is an important personality of God.

No matter what has happen to you before now; the Lord will surely come down for you at an appointed day to put an end to your misery in any aspect of life. Hence, you must wait for it, believe it and live with respect to it so as not to miss His visitation.

At a point Jesus wept and lamented over Jerusalem not because of any terrible situation but because she doesn't know the day of Her visitation; it was hidden from her(Luke 19:41-44) . At the point when God spoke with Moses the children of Israel were unaware of it. Some of them must have accepted the fate of being a slave for life and even plan their lives accordingly.

Even if your case is similar, the fact still remains that faithful is He who promised; like He did for the Israelites, He will also do the same for you. Keep your faith alive in God; He will surely visit your land.

Focus: Ancient But Not Old

Knowing God by experience begins with knowing Him by who He has been in the past, what He is doing presently and faith in what He says He will do in days to come!!!

When the Lord discovered that Moses complied and acted according to the instruction He was giving Him even when He had no prior knowledge of who He was adequately before this time; He further gave information about His personality to make him know who He was.

The first thing the Lord does after encountering a man is to make him know His personality. This is very critical to what you will become in Him. This is because you will only be strong to do great exploit if you know the God you serve. As you proceed on the pathway of destiny you will always come under scrutiny about the One who sent you or made you.

The Lord tried as much as possible to address the issue that made Moses to flee from Egypt. They asked Him "Who made you?" and He couldn't provide an answer because he did not know. Hence, He is not fit to be a deliverer because he doesn't know God.

The Lord told him; if you have heard of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; "I am their God" These men through various challenges of life such as famine, trial and disappointments were not consumed because the Lord was with them. Even now He is still the same God. Therefore, you must know Him if must represent Him accurately in His fullness.

Focus: Take off your Sandals

WORD FOR TODAY
Every man of destiny takes off his sandals at every point of divine encounter with the Lord. Every true divine encounter will surely take something away from your usual self!!!

"Then He said, "Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground."" (Exodus 3:5 NKJV).

You cannot come in contact with God and still remain the same. It is not enough to present yourself and be available in response to God's call in any facet of life; the most important thing is to comply with Him and allow Him to workout His good pleasure in your life.

Every call of God is a call to a change of life. No matter who you are, you must always submit yourself in obeisance to God.

There are several sandals in the feet of men today which are not acceptable before God if a man must live to fulfill His purpose on earth. Thank God for your life and those wonderful things that has taken place in it. The fact still remains that the best is yet to come. God at various times will not but ensure you have a new experience.

This occasion in the life of Moses is symbolic and serve as a model for every man who really mean business with God. Old things must pass away no matter how good they appear to be.

Moses was instructed to put off his sandal not because it was bad but just because every assignment that has to do with God is sacred and holy. Therefore, he mustn't come near until the sandals of old life is taken off to give room to new life and new experience.

There is an underlying principle of God that defines and makes a successful marriage. It is not a function of faith, believe, religion, knowledge in the word of God or by how much you can pray but conscious obedience to God's principle for a successful marriage.

There are some unbelievers around us who are enjoying their marriage blissfully not because of the knowledge they have about God but the fact that they either consciously or unconsciously follow the principle laid down by God. Even when your marriage appears to be wrong the fact still remains that you are married already; you can correct every lapses by following God's principles.

Every marriage starts on a very good note, but challenges set in along the line. When this happens you must submit to do whatever God tells you.

His principle is revealed to us as follow:
1. God hates divorce be it physically or logically (Mal 2:16)
2. Husbands must love their wives the way Christ love the church
3. Wives must submit to their husbands irrespective of who they are and their status (Eph 5:25).

Irrespective of your experience in marriage; you will be on the safe side when you do what the Lord tells you.

Focus: Things God Hates

WORD FOR TODAY
Whatever God hates at any level of life, no matter how enterprising it is before men, is regarded as wickedness. The fate of all men who ignore God to do what He hates is Hell Fire!

"The wicked shall be turned into hell, And all the nations that forget God." (Psalms 9:17 NKJV).

Irrespective of what you feel about life the fact still remains that our God will not accept some things. You cannot submit yourself to do what He hates and still find his favour. Despite being a merciful God; He is also a consuming fire.

If you don't want to go to Hell Fire you must not submit yourself to do what God hates. The primary essence of your existence is to please God.

God said I hate divorce. Therefore, any man who divorces His wife or husband for any reason is at the danger of hell fire. The permission to divorce was given to men by Moses and not God who instituted marriage from the beginning. Hence, it is not an option when it comes solving marital issues because no man will be guiltless when involved or taking pleasure in divorce of any kind.

"These six things the LORD hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren." (Proverbs 6:16-19).

Make deliberate effort to please God with your existence in every aspect of life. Fulfill your days and be a promoter of holiness and righteousness.

Focus: Burning But Not Consumed

WORD FOR TODAY
The interest of God is revealed over your life in that you are not consumed despite all you've been through. With the presence of God in your life, you can never be consumed irrespective of the intensity of fire around your life!!!

"And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed." (Exodus 3:2 NKJV).

Despite all you've been through where you are today; it has been God all the way. You were not consumed because the Lord took it on Himself to preserve you.

This incident as indicated in the scriptural reference above came in a buildup to the deliverance of the Israelites from their land of slavery. It really meant a lot to them and very significant to their destinies. Despite being in their land of slavery the Lord still took note of them. This was also revealed in the fact that the task masters (Egyptians) were intimidated by their increase even as slaves. With all they did to them, including killing their sons, they were not consumed.

What you need as you go on in life is the presence of God. The experience you had in the past does not matter; what really matters is the fact that the Lord is going ahead of you. It only on this basis that you can say I can face tomorrow.

Focus: Sin is a Reproach II

The fact that God forgive sins does not change the fact that history does not. Every man irrespective of who he is; prepares his life for disgrace each time he sins against God!!!

"Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people." (Proverbs 14:34 NKJV).

Reproach sets into a man's life each time he falls out of God's grace. The only hope you have as a man on this earth is the grace of God. But you cannot continue in sin that grace may abound (Rom 6:1-2).

Therefore, when grace is not made available for a man he becomes disgraced and his life will be characterised with reproach. History can never forget the man called Gehazi who brought leprosy on himself and passed it unto his own lineage by the virtue of His lifestyle.

You will always be known for the type of lifestyle you lived in every domain of your placement. You are either a blessing or a reproach. Are you sure that you are not dragging the name of the Lord in the mud?

It is a pity that many people are losing interest in spiritual matters because some men choose to be a reproach by the virtue of their lifestyle. The brotherly love which existed among brethren in the past is dying a natural death because we can no longer trust ourselves due to the fact that it sounds so very costly to do so.

If you will not be disgraced at any level of life you must be righteous. You must always allow God to work in you to do His good pleasure. This will not only bring about your elevation but will also make your memory a sweet one in the heart of men.

The fact that every man needs an element of darkness to fall into sin; makes it a reproach. Irrespective of who you are; living in sin is an invitation to living in reproach!!!

No man can ever glory in sin. There is no other way to prepare for reproach than to live in sin. There are several wolves in the fold today who always appear in sheep clothing and not in their true identity just because their lives of sin is a reproach. It is not presentable.

Have you seen a man who confidently boasts in the public that he is a thief, murderer, adulterer, drunkard, liar, witch/wizard and the likes? It is not common!

However, there are men who take much pleasure in sin and pretend to glory in it. When they do this they are still looking for covering. They want more people to do the same in order to influence the thought of men that everybody is doing it.

Whatever the case may be, the fact still remains that sin is a reproach. It is a sin if you don't read as a student; if you are not faithful to your spouse, if you are not committed to doing the will of God at any level of life. The aftermath of these actions is reproach.

You are created for God's Glory and the only way to it is to live righteously. Always devote yourself to doing the right both in the sight of God and Man. Don't sacrifice your peace, joy, happiness and fulfillment on the altar of sin.

For this is your lot in life and in your toilsome labor under the sun." (Ecclesiastes 9:7-9 NIV).

Life is given to every man as a gift. It is indeed the most precious gift of God to you as a person. When you consider the earth in it entirety; you will always see things to worry about; therefore, your primary assignment is to always find joy in whatever situation you find yourself.

Finding Joy begins with finding God - the eternal King who rules in all affairs of men.

It is only what is given to you that is given for your enjoyment. You don't have to be sorrowful or fret yourself on the account of what you don't have.

Many atimes as humans we always make effort to have some things thinking that they would give us the desired joy but on the contrary they rather increase our worries. Always have it at the back of your mind that those who have what you are even praying for are still asking for more. Stop eyeing someone's food, wife, clothes and other material possession but find grace in God to enjoy what He has given you; because before every man there is a grave.

In life, we will not but have those who will either be wise or foolish. The Lord in His graciousness will not but visit His children at the appointed time. The major issue about every divine visitation is its timing which is always concealed from men.

Therefore, we will always experience a waiting period. The essence of this waiting period is meant to prepare ahead for the unknown day of visitation.

Every wise man acquires strength in the process of waiting. The Lord on His visitation may require from you the ability to mount up with wings like eagles, run without growing weary and walk without fainting.

As you are expecting the Lord's visitation and trusting Him to promote you, take you to the next level of life as you advance on the pathway of destiny let not your lamp lack oil. Only a burning lamp is presentable on the lamp stand. Develop yourself so as not to be found wanting in the aspect of requirement expected of you to meet.

The five foolish virgins after keeping themselves and consecrating themselves away from the world failed in the aspect of preparation.

Anything a man sets his mind upon forms the bedrock of his thinking, understanding and behaviour to achieve whatever he desires.

Wrong estimation of who you are as a child of God in your mind goes a long way to influence your place in His purpose.

To have a correct mind you must set your heart on things above. In the world, prosperity or success is synonymous with wealth, popularity, power and position. But in God's own perspective, none of these things make a man prosperous. A prosperous man is someone who has God on his side (Gen 39:3).

Also, the world considers someone to be beautiful based on his/her appearance. But in God's sight; someone is beautiful when he/she has a meek and a gentle spirit. That is the set spiritual understanding of beauty.

It is true that you may lack some wonderful things of this life. However, don't underestimate yourself. Serve the Lord joyfully and stand firmly in the rightful place to always be what the Lord wants you to be.

Focus: Beyond All Understanding

When the Lord works in the life of a man; its magnitude goes beyond his capacity, strength, resources and all understanding!!!

"God's voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding." (Job 37:5 NIV).

The Lord God almighty uses various situation of life to bring men to the end of themselves. Sometimes as human, we brag about the resources at our disposal, our capacity, knowledge and other wonderful things in various aspect of life. However, most of these things fail mostly at critical times just to prove the supremacy of God over all creation and to establish the fact that by strength shall no man prevail.

The Lord is speaking to you once again that you must neither place your life nor the perspective of your destiny in the arm of flesh because they are liable to fail. You must always acknowledge God and allow Him to work out His good pleasure in your life.

It is an understatement to say you don't have your own capacity or knowledge but there is a limit you can go as a man because you cannot act beyond the grace made available for you. We know the workings of God by its nature; it surpasses all understanding.

Even when you think you will fail, die, be disappointed or be disgraced His mercy says No; just to make you have a lasting weapon called testimony for the Glory of His name as you move on in life.

The basis of every act of unbelief is fear. The first statement the devil presents to every man who desires to advance further into his glorious destiny is that "You cannot". He does not only present it casually but with evidence.

When some set of Israelites were sent to spy the promised land in a bid to possessing it. They came up with following fact:-
1. The Land was indeed a land flowing with milk and honey just as the Lord had said.
2. The Land was already occupied by some set of people who were considered to be giants (Anakities). This also was a fact which is in line with the word of God to them; He promised to give them the land of the Amorites, Jebusites etc.

However, they only considered their strength with respect to the giant they saw and concluded "we cannot possess the Land". Therefore, many of them couldn't make it there because of fear.

Situation of life will always present two basic facts before you; Positive or Negative. Irrespective of what is presented to you. Be mindful of the word of God and act towards it. Never consider your capacity; Look only unto God and take a bold step in the direction of His will for you.

The youthful age is characterised by strength. This strength is not for nothing but for bearing a yoke in preparation of the coming days.

It is a pity that the youths of this present age are not interested in bearing any kind of yoke; they love to be free and to do whatever they wish. Despite attending the best kind of schools with wonderful resources for learning such as the internet; many still remain uneducated and provide jobs for men who provide aid for examination malpractices.

Your youthful age determines how far you will go in life because it is the period of foundation laying. Moreso, it is also a period when many things about a man becomes permanent. When a man chooses not to bear his at his youthful age several misery will also become permanent.

As a young man try as much as possible to bear the yoke associated to your marital, academic, spiritual, financial life etc. while you are still young. Those men who are considered to be old men today were sometimes strong as you are presently. What they are today was actually the product of the choices they made in their youthful age. If they were to be given another opportunity to be youths again they would have loved it; however, you can only be a youth once in a life time.

The word of the Lord does not come to a man without a purpose. The Lord is so gracious in the fact that He will not but always send His word to His people in every situation of life. Each time His word comes it is to make you experience the fullness of Joy.

Joy is exclusively the fruit of the Spirit; the reaction or the expression of God's satisfaction in the life of a man; which comes as a result of absolute obedience to God's will.

There are so many people who have various academic achievement and yet have no Joy because they have no place for God in their lives.

We have seen and heard of men who wanted to commit suicide despite having very beautiful wives, children and several wonderful possession of life like cars, houses, clothes, awards, certificates etc. The possessions they have does not give them enough reason to live on. These happened to them because they failed to submit to God through His word and His principles.

You may not have much of these possessions of life; however, the word of the Lord coming to you on daily basis is presented to you so as to find fulfillment even within the limit of your divine allocation.

Irrespective of the reasons behind your actions the fact still remains that the expectation of God over your life remains unchanged.

It is possible that you have gone astray and fallen into sin; the fact still remains that nothing has changed as far as God is concerned. His love for you is still intact and never take pleasure in the death of a sinner. You only need to repent and turn back to Him like the prodigal son.

Similarly, you may have cogent reasons for compromising your faith. To you, it is situation of this life that gave you no option. Nevertheless, to God, nothing has changed; He knows those who are His, if you must be for Him you must depart from iniquity (2Tim 2:19).

Your own case may also be like that of Moses who was made to sin against God by the people he was leading. This also does not change the requirement of God; He is not a respecter of any persons; He only accepts those who fear Him and work in righteousness.

Jesus at a point in His public ministry had compassion on the people not because they had no food to eat, cloth to wear or shelter to live in but mainly because they were more or less like a sheep without a shepherd (Matthew 9:36).

The issue of leadership is a very serious one in the heart of God because they represent the channel through which He ministers to the needs of men at different levels of life. What do you think will become of a sheep on whom the shepherd sees as a meat to feast upon? What happens to citizens of a land whose leaders lack vision?

There exist a Pharaoh who through the grace of God in the life of Joseph saw the time of abundance as well as a time of famine ahead of time. He made an important sacrifice by putting a stranger he did not know at the helm of the affairs of the land of Egypt just to save his own people.

You also; at your own level you are a leader. God will never consider you innocent or righteous if you lead your own people without a clear cut vision.

However, irrespective of your knowledge, what you feel about life and your experience; the fact still remains that every affair of this life is programmed around Him and for Him. If you have known Him by experience you will be sure of the fact that something definite will surely happen at the mention of the name of Jesus. It is not by norms, tradition or custom but by faith in His word, works and personality.

As a human; we will not but always come to the point at which we will be incapacitated and will need someone to help us out. When this time comes; don't call on men who also need help in certain areas of their lives but call on the Lord Jesus. He is the strong tower in whom the righteous finds refuge and the ever present help in the time of trouble.

challenges of life. The fair nature of God is seen in the fact that no man is totally free from the challenges of life irrespective of his position and status.

The measure of God's grace in the life of a man will be the measure of the challenges he will have. A man who is not a President of a country can never have presidential challenges. There are some men whose sickness, mistakes, grace, disgrace, evil or good deeds will not only be known at local or national level but also internationally even when thousands of men with similar issues are not known.

As you move on in life you must never be ignorant of the fact that life's challenge is part of the human life. God allows them into our lives to measure the progress of our growth and character. In whatever situation you find yourself try as much as possible to remain acceptable to God.

We meet to part and part to meet so they say. However, several factors in life will continue to influence the level and the degree of our relationship with men.

Life has proven over the time that this world is not our home; we will surely leave this present habitation. If we can point to some of our loved ones who have passed unto eternity then we can be so sure that our own time to meet our creator will also come. At death, the consciousness of man is passed unto eternity; his real home.

No matter how painful the exit of our loved ones might have been the fact still remains that we didn't stop living; life continues just the way the dead continues his/her life in eternity.

Don't give up your eternal destiny with God on the account of various relationship with men. Be very sure that you have a personal right standing with God. Detach from your life everything making it difficult for you to do the will of God.

In whatever you do in life be ever mindful of the fact that God is watching and He is a God that always fight the course of both the powerless and the helpless.

It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hand of the Almighty God. Who will deliver a man from God's hand? When God resists a man who will help him? and when He is willing to defend a man and fight on His behalf who can resist Him?

Don't take advantage of someone weakness, ignorance or needs. Don't play God in any domain you find yourself. Keep reminding yourself that you will always be answerable to God over your deeds and that He is a God who pays every man according to what he sows in every aspect of life.

Don't be eaten up by the fact that there is no immediate consequence of what you do to others. The Lord is patiently waiting for the day of vengeance; that is why at a point, He says His reward is with Him to give to everyone according to what he has done be it good or bad.

Also, allow God to fight and plead your course. It is not an act of weakness when a man allows God to fight on his behalf; in the actual fact, it is the most effective approach to fighting life's battle without having wounds.

Irrespective of how you have lived so far in life the Lord is not willing to condemn you if you will make yourself available to do His will . He is not interested in your past but your future.

It is not the sin that you have sinned against God that really matters but what your reaction will be when similar occasion that led you into such sin arises in the future. Whatever your history might have been don't be eaten up by it; don't give up on living rightly according to the will of God. A decision to respond to God will always go a long way to reduce the enterprise of the evil one in any domain.

Despite the fact that God and men may forgive sins; history does not. However, history can be re-written just like the case of Paul initially known as Saul. The Lord is always ready to accept a man who turns to Him to live a new life.

(Ecclesiastes 10:19 NKJV). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Even if a man has so much money to buy whatsoever he likes; the fact still remains that he neither buys nor have everything. Various situation of life have proven the fact that there is a limit to which money can carry a man.

In the actual sense, those who truly enjoy life to its fullness are not those who have plenty of money but those who enjoy the mercy of God at every junction of their lives. There is nothing that can be compared to be living freely, walking freely and having good health without been eaten up with cares and worries of this life.

The rule of nature is seen in the fact that the more you have the more your worries. It is not the case that money is not good, in fact you need and you will always need it; However, you must live having the orientation that everything is not about money.

Don't define your faith, career, marriage, academics, ministry and your destiny with respect to money. If you do; any of the above mentioned aspect of life can be bought with money. You are bought with a price; don't give up the precious plan of God on the account of what is meant to serve you.

Question For Meditation: + What value do you place on yourself with respect to money? What is your worth?

It is a man only who cannot think with his right senses that will deny the fact that God is great. The more we take time to critically observe and think about what He has done the more we will see more of His greatness.

His greatness is seen in the fact that we cannot provide an answer to several questions of life. No man can explain how the bones grow in the womb nor what the Lord used to hold the sun, moon and star in its position.

When it seem the end had come for the Israelites at the Red; He made a way. When it seem as if the dream of Joseph was aborted; He used the situation around him to bring the dream to pass. We can't forget what He did with the three Hebrews in the fiery furnace and Daniel in the Lion's den; to them, the end seems to have come but everything eventually turned out to be for His Glory on their behalf.

Your greatness is not negotiable irrespective of the way your life appears to be at present; if the Great God is still standing by your side to bring His word to pass. Your past, present and future will continue to speak of His greatness come what may.

The greatest evil that happened to the entire human race is religion. This is because religion puts garment on people rather than a lifestyle after God's likeness.

What do you see each time you see a pope, priest, bishop, imam, pastor and the likes? Predominantly, you will always see garment. The human race is very weak when most of these garments are sighted mostly because men love to honour God.

Men open the door of their homes, release their money, give out various precious material possessions and sometimes put their lives in line just to honour God.

Therefore, many men try to put on these garments to make livelihood, exploit men and make themselves a semi-god over the men under their tutelage. Don't be deceived by those garments; a life contrary to that of Christ is not of God.

Try as much as possible to appear the way you are. The garment you put on can never change your personality before the Almighty God. You cannot overcome the evil one with fake lifestyle.

It is not enough to do something for God; you must understand that He has a standard that mustn't be compromise. You are doing nothing until you have obeyed God strictly.

Despite the fact that the Lord need men to stand in the gap for Him in every domain in life; He will only acknowledge those who present themselves to fit adequately into His plan in the domain of their placement through absolute obedience to His word.

What deprive Moses from making it to the promises land was because of his non-compliance to God's specification at a point as He advance into the promise land. The same thing happen to several children of Israel; they couldn't make it to the promise land despite God's promises on them.

King Saul lost his position as the king because he also fail to comply to God's specification in the assignment given to Him by God. The same way Jesus spoke about the people of this generation. Some are preaching, teaching, praying, healing people and prophesying in His name yet will be considered as alien in His Kingdom (Mat 7:22-23 ). God did not know them because they don't fit into His purpose according to His laid down specification.

The faith of a man has not come to maturity until he comes to understand that God is able to save even when situation proves otherwise and cooperating with Him to have His way to do His good pleasure even when He appears not to save!!!

Maturity as far as faith is concern means absolute loyalty, cooperation and acceptance of what God intents to do even when it appears not favourable. Faith that understands that man must not live by bread alone but God's intention through His word.

Many men gave their lives to God through Christ Jesus so as to have a good life; to be healed of their sicknesses, get good spouse, good Job and deliverance from various life's problems. Whatever might be the case with you, know that God walks and works mysteriously. He may not do it even though He can.

You are created for His Glory and He can use your life to do whatever pleases Him. However, His plans toward you any time any day is for good and not evil. The measure of your Faith in God determines your attitude in every situation of life.

Irrespective of your experience, knowledge and feelings about various situation of life the fact still remains that God is real and Jesus is Lord.

The statement credited to our God and our Lord has been the headache of several people on this planet earth. Many make several effort to discover God like embarking on a serious scientific research using both the Bible and other relevant books. However, the more they advance, the less they see and more confused they become (Rom 11:33).

The Bible will just be a mere literature book to us until God Himself through His Spirit opens the pages of the scripture for our understanding (Jer 33:3). The personality of God will continue to remain unsearchable to the canal mind.

Your experience or knowledge is too shallow to prove God's personality because your life is a very minute fraction of His work. If you must seek to find Him; it must be with the heart of worship and faith in His word (Jer 29:13, John 12:46).

Excuse is one of those things that will not allow most people to experience the Kingdom of God in their pilgrimage. For some, it is their business, family, spouse or quest for material possession.

In the parable of the great banquet in Luke 14:15-23; Jesus made a description of various invitation to different calibre of people. The people that were initially invited made various excuses to exempt themselves from the banquet. When this happened, the invitation was made open to all; be it the rich, poor and even those who are physically challenged in any aspect of life were invited.

Since the invitation is made open to all; You can't say you weren't told about the good news. You can't say you didn't come because you are rich, poor or even physically challenged in some aspect of life. The invitation that was made freely open to all is designed that way to ensure that no excuse is tenable.

The Lord knows the resistance you are likely to face in every bid to doing His will and also to fulfill your purpose in life. Put aside every hindrance to coming to Him so as to find rest for your soul. Don't join the league of those who say God understands while acting contrary to His will.

Since all men have sinned and fallen short of God's Glory; we all have a case to answer before the evil one until we take deliberate step to surrender our lives to God in response to the call to salvation.

Satan is an ancient angel which existed even before the creation of man. Therefore, no man can rebuke him except the Lord alone. Even if he is subdued at your command it is actually the workings of God in you.

If the Lord were to keep the record of sin who can stand. Can you stand? If No; Yet the Lord chose you and rebuked the evil one over your life and the affairs of your life. If the Lord had brought you this far this year and in your journey in life; you did not die nor suffer loss in various aspect of life; it is an indication that He has rebuked Satan on your behalf.

Satan in his attributes does not rest. Like a Lion seeking whom to devour; he has not given up on you. He is very optimistic of performing his enterprise even with the little time left this year as well as the coming days. Irrespective of his evil plans against your life; take refuge in God whose mercy is unlimited. I decree that the Lord rebuke Satan over the affairs of your life and over everything attached to your destiny in Jesus name. Amen!!!
