Marriage is an important institution created by God for men to enjoy life and fulfill His purpose in the land of the living. However, if marriage must be exactly the way the Lord wants it to be; fulfilling it intended purpose; it must follow the ordinances of God.
The ordinances of the Lord defines what marriage should be according to the fruit of the Spirit.
Ultimately, marriage is all about love. Nothing works in marriage without love. It is the only virtue that prevents frustration in marriage. Also, it presents a platform to live joyfully and peacefully in life. Having joy and peace is vital to a blissful marital experience.
There is no marriage without its own challenges but patience as a virtue keeps it moving strong and steady. It can never survive nor be what God wants it to be without other attributes like kindness, goodness, gentleness and self-control.
The missing link in every troubled marriage is the involvement of God who exhibits Himself in the lives of men through the fruit of the Spirit. Therefore, don't enter into this honourable institution without the Spirit of God else you will become miserable.

There is no one like our God who takes pleasure in taking glory in every possible situation of life. Despite all we've been through here we are today. This is only possible through God alone.

When we read about various men in the scripture who had relationship with God; sometimes, we are tempted to ask - how possible is this? Can this be true? If by experience, it did not happen to us, how can we know that what we read are not mere literature or fable written by busy bodies? But the Lord continues to prove Himself as the Almighty and work in us to prove the fact that man does not live by bread alone.

In our little state, He worked big things in us. In every spiritual confrontation and various storm of life He kept us safe. Even though it seems as if we don't have much we lacked nothing because He continue to open doors after doors and we were not ashamed in the time of critical needs. Where there was no money; His mercy was made available.

As far as am concerned, I will not glory in flesh but in Him who brought me this far. Thank you Jesus for what you have done, doing and what you will do.

Every man has his own time. Just as we know that the life of a man is characterised by various times and seasons. Hence, our knowledge about various times is not complete until we have come to understand that times are not equal and the fact that change is constant.

Do not consider it strange when you experience famine in various aspect of life. It is part of what man will not but experience irrespective of who he is in this terrain. Despite the promises of God in the lives of the likes of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob they all experienced the time of famine. They lived certain times of their lives yearning for something. Nevertheless, despite the fact that they experienced famine; the famine did not kill them neither did it stop them from living in the reality of God's promises for their lives.

When you are faced with famine in any aspect of life; know that God knows what is best for you and no matter how tensed the famine might have appeared to be, it will soon pass. It is not an act of wickedness on the part of the Lord to make us to experience famine but to let us know that there is more to life than bread and that His word is enough to sustain us through the wilderness of life.

Nothing is actually certain in this life. No matter the magnitude or the level of whatever you enjoy at this very point in time you can only enjoy it while it lasts.

Every feeble old man of today represents the future of every agile young man. If you are healthy today, it is a wonderful privilege because the body we carry can fall sick. Our lives is characterised by various times and seasons.

We continue to live our lives looking forward for what the next moment holds. Days of opportunity will not but come. When it comes, do not misuse it. At certain point in life God places men at the top of the world; placing wonderful resource at their disposal just to prepare them ahead for the days of famine. However, many thought things will continue to be the way they used to be.

It doesn't take much time or effort for what has been built for years to be destroyed. That is the mystery of life (Job 1). When you eat don't eat alone because everything will surely come to an end.

If life has not been treating you well; your life can as well change. Don't give up on aspiration and what the Lord has said concerning you. The fact that you are not favoured today doesn't mean you are out of favour. If you remain in God trusting only in Him; He will surely bring into perfection every issue of your life.

No matter how wonderful and commendable what you do might have appeared to be before men they are nothing before God if they are not according to His will.

What we call the work of God is exclusively His work and not of men. If a man must be involved in His work he must be ready to do it according to His will. Several men try to form relationship with God by speaking spiritual languages, preaching and teaching His word, engaging in one activity or the other in His name.

Nevertheless, the Lord has promised to disown them on the last day because they were just satisfying their sinful desire even in spiritual things rather than obeying Him in His principles. Their works look wonderful and promising before men but to God it is regarded as iniquity.

You only belong to God when you have His mind and do His will. Also, what shows that you are doing the will of God is the fact that you are bearing the fruit of the spirit like love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, self-control, goodness, faithfulness and gentleness.

Many of our loved ones with whom we dine, gist and do a lot of things together are already in eternity. We must have taught, spoken, argued and even disagreed about various issues that has to do with eternity but to them at this very point in time it is a reality. The fact that it happened to them serves as a proof that we will surely answer the call at a time known to God alone.

However, death is not a threat to our existence but a reminder that we have not come to stay in this terrain. There is a home far beyond the blue which the Lord has prepared for those who submit their lives to Him and walk in His ways. Jesus said: we should not let our hearts be troubled because He has prepared a place for us (John 14:1).

Heaven is a holy place filled with glory and grace; sin can never enter there. All within its gate are pure, from defilement kept secured. Its streets are made with gold, there is no sorrow, temptation, cares and worries of life.

All these are known by the devil the enemy of our souls; that is why he is ever ready to give you anything if you will lose your soul to Him for the glory of this world. Strive to make heaven even if it means losing every other thing.

Many people live as if they do not have God. Some may wonder why the miracles as seen in the lives of others does not manifest in their own lives. Nevertheless, What brings God to your aid is nothing but obedience to His word and principles.

Life on this planet earth is characterised by several challenges which is like passing through the waters, walking through the rivers and fire. But the Lord has promised to be with us in those situations. His word is settled ahead of those situations.

The Children of Israel passed through the red sea with no harm as they took step into it at the command of the Lord but the Egyptians perished as they tried to do the same.

Similarly, the three Hebrews chose to obey God and refused to bow to the golden image set up by Nebucadnezer. They were thrown into the fury furnace as a result of their obedience But the Lord was already waiting for them in the fire and it didn't harm them.

No matter your experience in life; the Lord will bring His words to pass if and only if you will walk in accordance to His word. Try as much as possible not to derail in obeying God in His principles.

Have you been sick before and the doctor failed to respond on time despite the pain you suffered? Most of the time the health practitioners appear to be careless but in the actual sense they are not. The issue is that when a man becomes sick he is regarded as a patient just because he needs a systematic care to be who he used to be.

There is God's timing in every affair that has to do with man. The coming of the Lord is not limited to the end of age alone but also every area of life where divine intervention is needed.

There are several patients in the prison yard. They lost their freedom on the account of fraudulent activities. They neither consider the principles of God nor wait on God to bless them in the right way.

Some men entered into a wrong relationship/marriage due to the fact that they couldn't patiently wait upon God. Some young people have successfully destroyed the chance of getting a suitable suitor as a result of the consequence of pre-marital sex like abortion, STDs.

Some people have lost some parts of their body if not their lives on the account of over speeding and couldn't get to the intended destination they were rushing to.

No matter how fast you think you can run; you cannot out run your creator. Patiently wait upon Him even as you follow Him in His principle in various affairs of your life.

God is love; anyone who resembles Him in His attribute will be love personified. The only way to overcome the evil one at any level of life is through love (Rom 12:20).

"Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do." (Luke 23:34a). He did not curse them nor command evil to happen to them. This is because there was no evil in Him; He was love personified. The spirit that is in Christ is not in the life of a man who curses another for whatever reason not even in prayers against enemies.

When Joseph was sold to Egypt by his brothers, he did not curse them but eventually understood that God used them to bring Him into the fulfillment of His dreams. He did not pay them in their own coin but rather provided for their needs. This is a type of Christ and the lifestyle we are called to.

Evil will never depart from the life of a man who thinks, speaks and loves evil to happen to any creation of God. If God is about to rain blessing in the lives of such; he/she will only see the cloud but not the rain. This is because such will use every blessing to do even more evil. Don't be overcome by evil. Submit yourself to God's principle. Allow the Lord to work out His good pleasure in your life.

Irrespective of how you feel about life; you cannot change what God wants to do with every situation affecting your life. As He leads you on in life, His plan towards you is for good and not of evil.

No matter who you are; you cannot but always come to a point where situation of life will make you to fear. Situation of life will sometimes come with valid evidence of failure, lost of hope and defeat. When this time comes the devil who is the father of all liars; will say all sorts of things just to make you fear.

Sometimes he tells you that you will die, you will fail your exams, you can't make it by following the principle of God and the likes. When this happens remember what the Lord has said concerning you even if the situation around you is acting on the contrary. You don't need to fear; stand still believing God alone for your life and destiny. It is only in standing still that you will discover that there is actually nothing to fear.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the way, truth and the life. Irrespective of your faith and belief you have not known the truth until you know the word of God through whom all this exists. If what you believe is not His word you have not known the truth and you can never be free.

The weapon of warfare that makes a man smart in the battle of life is the truth. You must know whom you have believed in both His attributes and principles if you must win the battle of life. Therefore, the most effective weapon of the devil is lies. When he attacks a man he attacks the truth he knows. This is how he deceived Adam and Eve to sinning against God.

Irrespective of your experience, salvation lies in God alone. You will not but always be confronted with the truth about your life each time you look at yourself from the mirror of the word of God. Don't run away or neglect the picture of what you see yourself to be; acknowledge who you are by responding to Him in total repentance. It is in absolute submission to the truth that your deliverance lies.

Love at any level of life cannot happen without sacrifice. A man who truly loves God and his fellow human will submit something costly to validate his love.

When the Lord our God wanted to demonstrate His love for the entire human race; He gave Jesus Christ, His only begotten son. He did this to save whoever believes in Him from perdition and to set a standard of the true definition of Love.

Don't ever say you love someone when you are not ready for sacrifice. In the actual sense; if you are not ready to die you are not ready for love. Love is different from infatuation. You must be very careful and be very sure before you commit yourself to love. This is because, the greatest challenges of life are the one that demands love. However, nothing is impossible; every problem can be solved in the presence of love.

In marriage; the Lord Jesus who laid His life for the salvation of all mankind; is a model of love presented to every man who truly wants to be a real husband. It wasn't easy for the Lord but He paid the price because of the Love He had for us.

Consequently, every sacrifice of love is actually a seed sown for coming days. The Lord gave His only son to have many sons in Glory. When grace is made available to sow the seed of love do not hesitate to sow.

Before now you have been faced with several life's challenges which is now a testimony. This is an important signal to you that the present issues of your life will eventually pass away. No matter how tough it may appear to be it has an expiring date.

The Israelites couldn't believe it when they saw the deliverance of the Lord in the land of their slavery. It happened just like a dream. This is how the Lord will also put an end to your problems, misery, sickness, trouble. After every weeping of the night there is always joy in the morning.

Don't give up on God irrespective of the situation of your life but keep your faith alive in Him to bring to pass His promises over your life and turning your sorrow into Joy, weeping into laughter, mourning into jubilation and poverty into prosperity.

If there is any reason for you to appreciate God over the woman/man he has given you as wife/Husband it is neither by accident nor luck but the favour of God. If you did not die like others before now; It is not by your effort nor deeds but deliberate choice by the Lord to spare you.

Those who failed in their academics, businesses and other aspects of life are not less fortunate; it is just that grace was not made available for them. It is the mercy of the Lord that work out things in the life of a man after he must have played his own part in every situation of life.

In all your struggle and labour in various aspects of life always seek for His mercy so that you don't labour in vain. Acknowledging Him in all your ways makes Him actively involved in the affairs of your life.

There is no success without Love. Your marriage, career, academics, job and the likes depend on it. Love is actually the secret behind the fulfillment of a man in the land of the living. Therefore, you don't have to worry about tomorrow in the presence of Love.

Is there any trouble, disappointments, discord, poverty, discouragement, war or wrath? The only solution to these things is Love. All these become a serious issue in the absence of Love.

Similarly, we all have an important responsibility of showing love if we must fulfill our days. We are created to be a revelation of who God is as His children to the world. Hence, you deprive a man the right to have practical encounter with God each time you fail to show love.

Relationships tend to be forged when we fail to love. What is the essence of being called a son, daughter, wife, husband, brethren, father, mother, brother, sister if not for love?

Love is very expensive because it will always demand the most precious things from you. However, it is a life time investment designed to make your life beautiful.

The Lord has given you something special with which your need will always be met and this, He will always require from you in every bid to meeting your needs at every point in time. In John 2; when they ran out of wine, Jesus only asked them to use what they had i.e. water, strength and the will power to obey His words.

Irrespective of your needs the fact still remains that God has provided all things. Consider what He placed in your disposal and act in total obedience to His words.

All men cannot fail at the same time. In the parable of the talent, the man who received one talent failed because he thought it was too small. You will always come to a point where you will face the issues of your destiny alone. The real picture of how God allocate resource to men on earth is shown to us in today's bible verse. His fairness and graciousness is seen in the fact that He gave everyone atleast something but according to individual capacity and what He gives has the ability to expand and increase.

The Lord is not ignorant of the resources He placed in your disposal; He will only require from you based on the measure of grace made available for you. Therefore, make use of every grace made available for you. It is on this basis that your capacity can increase.

The men who gained five and two were commended equally despite the fact that they were given different amount of resources. Don't be like the man who failed to use the talent given to him. Don't neglect the days of little beginning. Increase your capacity making adequate use of what God has given unto you.

David and his men discovered that their wives and children had been taken as captives before they arrived to their habitation. This experience was strange to them that they all wept. However, David found strength in the Lord and recovered everything with more blessing (1Sam30).

We don't know what the next moment holds but faith continues to say all is well. Don't give up on the promises of God over your life; irrespective of your present experience. Who are the criminals, adulterers, slanderers, liars, perjurers, murderers, idolaters and the likes? Sincerely, they are not those who have been knocked down by sickness for years but rather the men whom the Lord has blessed with good health, financial and material prosperity. Those who have access to God's resources but rather chose to squander them on the altar of sin.

It is not a crime to ask the father to give you your lot in the land of the living just like the prodigal son; However, He will not be pleased with any man who misuses the grace He made available. If the Lord has been so gracious enough not to send you away without meeting your physical needs in His presence; you must not go away from Him. He wants us to remain in Him so that we will not collapse like the prodigal son on the pathway of destiny.

The Lord gave some so called men of God powerful gifts which brings several men to them. He places some in high positions with the aim that they will influence men to come into the kingdom. However, many of them rather chose to exploit and deprive men the truth in the word of God to enrich themselves.

If you are among them; you are wasting the grace of God. Life is about time and chance; your time will soon be up and at the Judgement throne of God all your work will be regarded as iniquity (Matt 7:23).

A foolish type of faith is identified when a man continues to live in sin having believed that God loves Him. The faith of a man is irrelevant in every act of disobedience to the word of God. The most important step to having faith is obedience to God's word.

The Lord will only be at your service in every aspect of life each time you act in obedience to His word else you are on your own. You cannot be promoting the works of darkness or allowing the devil to take glory over your life and still expect the Lord to make grace available for you.

The only faith available for a disobedient man is repentance. You are required to take deliberate steps towards God in total obedience to His will each time you sin against Him. This was what the prodigal son did to receive the mercy of the Father.

Don't sin against the law of nature, general well being (health) and the principle of God in the affairs of men while claiming faith. True faith will always lead a man along the right path of life where his life and destiny can be secured.

You can command mountains to move, deadly poisons can do you no harm, thorns on the pathway of destiny cannot stop you; if the steps you are taking are in absolute obedience to the word of God.

Every man wants the plan and purpose of God to come to pass over his/her life. However, if the plan of God will be properly implemented over our lives we must love Him, walk and work according to the pattern of His purpose.

The lives of all men is expected to follow a divine arrangement in the agenda of God for all mankind on earth. Nevertheless, several men lose out in destiny due to the fact that they fail to submit their lives to walk and work according to the pattern of His purpose.

We need to ask ourselves some questions. What actually led us into the present experience we are having at this point in time? Is it through obedience or disobedience to God's word?
Can we truly say everything is working according to His purpose while still living and advancing in disobedience to His words?

In the case of the three Hebrews; God didn't show up until they were thrown into the fury furnace even in their obedience to Him. Afterwards, everything worked out to fulfill divine purpose.


If our prayers, preaching and labour in His vineyard will not be in vain; if we will not lose out in destiny as far as our marriage, career, relationships, finance, academics, ministry etc. is concerned we must love God to walk and work according to the pattern of His purpose.

Therefore, when you are thinking of death; He is thinking about how He will be glorified by what He will do with the present situation of your life in a bid to prove to you that He is the Almighty.

Despite the fact that God can do all things; He will not just do some things. He neither stopped the three Hebrews from being thrown into the fiery furnace nor Daniel from being thrown into the Lion's den. He took glory over their situations instead. To them, they had prepared to die for the course of the Lord but He had something different in mind for them.

His thoughts over you is peace; just allow Him to take glory over everything concerning your life.

The thoughts in the heart of men has been polluted right from the fall of man. It is characterized by both good and evil.

If the Lord had implemented every thoughts of your heart? What would have happened to you? Where will you be? Many atimes, we've given up over certain issues peculiar to our lives and destinies. Various situation of life make us to accept in our thought that we will fail, die, fall and be disappointed. This is not even limited to us alone but even to those around us.

However, the Lord at every point in time intercepts our thoughts to bring to pass His desires for us. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11).

In every quest to be successful in various aspect of life; He also intercepts our thoughts and ways to bring to pass His good pleasure and desires for us.

When Joseph dreamt about His glorious future, he didn't have the idea of the experience that will bring his dream to pass. God in a bid to fulfill His thoughts over him took him through the dry well, slavery in Egypt and the prison experience. In the course of his experience he must have given up on his dreams; yet the thoughts of the Lord is actually of good, peace and a type to fulfill his dream. Irrespective of your experience His banner over you is love.

Whatever you elevate above the interest of God is an Idol. Many men gave their lives to God just because they heard that doing so will bring healing, blessing, promotion, freedom, prosperity, protection and the likes; but not to really repent from their sinful ways and live for Him.

They appear to be following God but not with a perfect heart. They came looking for resources to glorify and manage their sinful nature. Their service is not unto the Lord but to the idols in their heart.

The Lord will never allow them to experience the fullness of His kingdom. They cannot come to His Hill because no matter what He does for them, it will never be for His benefit and the fulfillment of His purpose on earth. If they are still available; it is because what will take them away from God's presence has not come. Also, when their expectations are not met they become offended and seek for alternative.

What do you seek? What are you living for? The Lord will not share His glory with anyone! He knows your heart and the motive behind everything you do. Put away every idol from your heart and live your entire life fulfilling His purpose.

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service." (Romans 12:1 NKJV).

The salvation we have is born out of the sacrifice Jesus made for the redemption of our souls. The way He lived physically among men shows that He did not live by His own will but the will of the Father.

You are not ready for the real service of the Kingdom if you have not come to the point of looking beyond your will, desire and life long ambition. We must all come to understand that God created everyone of us for His own glory and to fulfill definite purpose.

There is a script in His mind that He wants us to play; we have to surrender ourselves to ensure that His will is done on earth just as it is in Heaven.

If your conception happened without your knowledge but through the idea of the One who created all things then you are not expected to live for yourself but for Him who died and gave Himself for you. Let us try as much as possible to always submit to Him at every point in time and in every service we render.
