Despite the fact that we are required to represent God in various aspect of life we are not expected to act as if we are the one who created and have the final say over the lives of men.

As a man, we see things in life from different perspective. It could be from our knowledge through what we were told or taught, what we read from books, what we saw in the lives of men around us and more importantly our experience. Whatever the case may be; "Let God be true and every man a liar" (Rom 3:4)

It is very wrong to expect a child to behave like an adult. God will never condemn a child from behaving like one even though His ultimate expectation over such a child is that he should grow to maturity (1cor 13:9-11). In your relationship with men you must be careful to deal with them with understanding.

Jesus Christ on the cross of calvary prayed on behalf of those who crucified Him. He said "Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing". He did not condemn them because He knew they didn't actually know what they were doing.

Irrespective of the behaviour of men around you; don't take the place of God in their lives. Don't be too quick to judge them because of the way they appear but rather see them as men who can improve to get better in every situation.

Irrespective of what you are enjoying from life the fact still remains that you are just favoured to be the product of God's grace and mercy.

Yes, it is true that you laboured, prayed and played your part in various aspect of life; the fact still remains that it is the grace of God that did not allow all your input to be in vain. Nevertheless, you must always remind yourself that you are what you are by His grace alone. Don't be tempted to play God or look down on those who are less privileged.

A man of God by the virtue of the Grace of God that always keep him safe wherever he goes concluded in one of His messages that any child of God who had an accident is a sinner. Unfortunately for him, he had an accident while travelling back to His place of residence. Thank God, he did not die but his car was condemned beyond repair. This is just a message for him that he was not safe all this while because of his holiness but God's mercy.

When you see people who don't have what you have see them as men who have not received the measure of grace given to you in a particular aspect of life rather than an offender. Always acknowledge God for making you who you are.

Focus: When Vision Becomes Blurred

No matter what we do; there is an appointed time for the fulfillment of every vision. However, we cannot but come to a point where situation around us will prompt us into doubting if the vision is real.

Whatever the case may be with you, vision is meant to speak at the end for those who believe, wait and work towards it. Abraham at a certain point got frustrated and probably asked himself; "how long will I continue to count stars with nothing to show for it despite my obedience to God?"

In life, there are two important mountains; the mountain of revelation and the mountain of fulfillment. However, there are several experiences between these two mountains.

Joseph did not suddenly become the prime minister of Egypt, Abraham didn't become the father of many nations over night. They all went through the process of character development within a period of time to understand who God is beyond the written pages of the scripture.

It doesn't matter if men do not believe in your vision with respect to what is happening to you at this moment; it is not for them in the first place. Allow God to use various situations to change you into a man that can sustain a vision.

The work of God is not without a specification. It shouldn't be done in a way other than His way. You have not worked for God until He testifies to the quality of your service.

One day the Lord appeared in a revelation to my Pastor (the father whom the Lord used and still using to bring me up spiritually). The Lord said to Him: "What makes me to feel your existence is that each time I look down, I see you working in my garden" What a wonderful divine testimony of a man in active service for the Lord!

Many are working but not for Him. Even if they claim to be in His garden they are doing something else. Therefore, the Lord considers them to be strangers and cannot gain His approval. If it seems they have great audience they are not the wheat but rather the tares because God will never allow His people to listen to them.

What we see in Jesus is that He came to please the father alone. Hence, He got every right to be a perfect High priest because the Almighty God was pleased with Him.

How can you be the priest of the Lord without doing His will? If the verdict of the Lord over your service matters; you must prioritize doing His will.

The value of a man's life is a function of the human resource around his life. The beginning of the end in a man's life is identified when the heart of men turn against him.

When the Lord is set to really bless a man He does not give him plenty money but plenty good people. When a man is blessed with good people in his business, career, ministry, academic pursuit etc. He will not only have money but also many good things of life that will ensure his fulfillment in various aspect of life.

If the Lord truly own the hearts of kings; He can bring men to help you at any length and capacity. Therefore, to be at the mercy of the almighty God you must do His will. The Lord must be well pleased with your existence.

Therefore, in everything you do, if the Lord must command people to hear your voice and remain relevant in His purpose, you must be willing to resemble Him in His attribute. You must represent Him accurately in His fullness.

As you go out today at His command; make pleasing Him your uppermost plan.

Focus: The Tares among the Wheat I

Whatever the case may be in any situation of life the fact still remains that our God is good because there is no element of evil in Him. Where there is evil: the indication is that the enemy has performed an enterprise.

Sometimes, as we move on in life we will not but see some evil work of the enemy growing side by side with the work of God. But we must be able to identify the workings of the devil in order to have required victory through the working of God.

Sometimes we wonder why the Lord does not intervene almost immediately when we cry to Him even as a bonafide child in His hand; the issue is that; He will always wait for the harvest time (3rd day) when an end will come to every moment of darkness.

The devil is serious with the business of stealing, killing and destroying at every slightest opportunity. Even with these, you must not be ignorant of the fact that the emergence of the Son of God is to destroy what the enemy has done. Don't give up in calling on the Lord to put an end to every works of the enemy. Also, repent from those things that give room to evil work of darkness.

Everything in life exists through the word of God (John 1:1-5). Whatever is not founded in obedience to God's word (the Solid Rock) is actually founded on a sinking sand; for it to appear and disappear.

The most important thing in every situation in life is not what you have or what you can do but where you stand at every point in time with respect to those situations.

Thank God for everything you have and what you have gathered for yourself. How did you get them? Where does you hope lie? What is the recommendation of the Lord over your life? Are you a wise or a foolish man? Irrespective of what your life represents before men; the fact still remains that you are standing on a sinking sand if you are not living according to God's word.

The essence of various situation of life we pass through is to validate our stand (be it solid Rock or Sinking sand). At the end of our lives when we appear before Him; all we have will become irrelevant; where we stand now matters. Are you standing in truth, righteousness, holiness and purity? Think about this!

Focus: The Blessedness of Esteeming your Parents 2

The Lord our God is a righteous Judge. He has shown to us continuously how much He detests a man who dishonours his parents. The simple message He is passing across to us is that if we so much desire to keep our lamp burning when we need it most we must honour our parents.

I heard of a woman who had delay in child bearing for several years on the account of dishonouring her in laws (Father and Mother). She is neither accommodative to them nor provide for them. Thank God for a man of God who counselled them to reconcile with their parents. This they did and got a child after 9 months.

It is not limited to using abusive words on them. Some people cannot show their parents to people; saying they are not presentable. Some drag the name of the parents in the mud as a result of bad character. Some on the account of laziness, living in luxury and nonchalant attitude become a failure in various aspect of life squandering the resources of their parents. Some ignore their aged parents without providing for them their basic needs. Whereas, these parents spent their hard earned money on such children; giving them the money they can't spend on themselves for food, clothing and other things.

When you do this you are cursing them because you are their fruit. You must not take your parents for granted. Your remembrance in their hearts should bring you a blessing.

Irrespective of who you are and how far you have gone and how great you have become in life the fact still remains that you did not fall from heaven. Before coming to the realization of yourself; you are at first a gift from God to your parents. You exist because the Lord saw a need to give you as a blessing to your parents.

Therefore, your existence is not in isolation to that of your parents. You were given to them as a blessing and that you must be to them. Irrespective of what must have transpired between you and your parents the fact still remains that your action towards them is a seed sown which you will also reap in coming days.

If they did not abort you nor sell you for money to give you right to live and even spend their hard earned money joyfully to help you to take the first steps in various aspect of life; they deserve to be honoured.

Your parents are not limited to those who gave birth to you but also those who carried you on the shoulder to see the world in various aspect of life (Spiritually, Academically, Financially, Morally, Maritally etc). Giving due reverence to these people will not only make the Lord to add to your days but will also workout things to favour you.

The Only institution created by God which gives room to absolute unclothedness is marriage. It is only in marriage that you can be naked and you will not be ashamed. Similarly, when there is no absolute unclothedness in marriage the parties involved will be disgraced.

The concept behind creating Adam first; is meant to show God's will of oneness in marriage. He created them as a single entity initially (male and female) (Gen 5:1-2) and later separated them to ensure multiplicity. Even in this, He wants them to still remain one because they carry the same destiny, assignment and mandate.

Therefore, now as a separate entity in a single unit, if they must have the same heart, understand purpose there must be communication. If they must remain one every information must be shared.

Your marriage is not successful until you become one with your spouse. Therefore, you must invest comprehensive time in communication in your marriage. With proper communication there will be proper understanding and with proper understanding there will be successful marriage.

For people yet to be married; you will become one with whoever you choose to be your husband/wife. You must allow God to have His way in your marital choice.

Times are not equal, there is an appointed time designed by God for every man to celebrate over various challenges of life everything being equal. It is an established fact that you cannot just hide some of your plight from your neighbours due to their obvious nature.

In the above text, the neighbours of Elizabeth were not ignorant of her misery therefore when there was a noticeable change in her situation they were the first to notice. They did not only notice what the Lord did in her life they also rejoiced with her and spread the good tidings.

The case of every man passing through various challenges of life is similar to that of Elizabeth. In a situation where you don't even share your plight with men they already know and understand your experience to some extent. They are also aware of what you don't have in terms of countable.

Nevertheless, the time to celebrate over all obvious challenges of your life will come. All those who use to know you will surely celebrate with you and share the testimony of God's goodness in your life because the Lord will make your miracle unique.

From the scripture, it was made known to us that our Lord is the same yesterday, today and forever (Heb 13:8-9). Irrespective of what is happening and the changing situation of the world today His standard remains the same.

Therefore, a man is not following Him or advancing towards making eternity with Him while being disobedient to His principles. We must not be ignorant of the fact that God neither changes nor repents.

He is the same God who sent plagues to the Egyptians, killed their first born, destroyed them in the red sea on behalf of the Israelites. He is still the same God who killed several Israelites in the wilderness to stop them from entering the land of promise on the account of their unbelief and disobedience to His principles.

We must be very careful to submit ourselves to those evil men on the pulpit who are serving their bellies rather than God (Phip 3:18-19). They make light things that are of great eternal value and magnify things that of less eternal value. Their major emphasis is about bread and nothing more.

Don't allow them to exploit you or discredit the truth you know in the word of God meant to set you free, on the account of the present challenges in your life. The Lord who did mighty miracles in the lives of the saints of old is still the same today.

Everything the eye can see is meant to fade with time (Pro 31:30). Your personality is not absolutely in your appearance but in the character that defines who you are in the heart of men.

The beauty of the Holy women of old (eg Sarah) is not limited to their appearance but in the fact that they submitted to their husbands and see them as lords. They lived their entire lives to worship and adore the purpose of God in the lives of their husbands. They did not involve in frantic race of equality with their men but rather remained a wife to support them in every capacity.

As a man what to look for in a woman is not her face but the arm which represents the degree of her acceptability. How much can she accept you with your personality to be her lord? How much can she accept your people and your God? How much can she accept godly seeds to turn them into offsprings.

Don't be carried away by beautiful appearance. Trust God to help you to seek His will always even as you improve yourself to be an example of a believer in every aspect of life.

There are two ways to every decision you make; two destinies stand before every man created by God. This is determined by our choice; be it life or death at every point in time and in all situations.

The Lord in His graciousness did not force His will or desire on us but rather pleaded with us to choose life by making His will known to all mankind. Therefore, the truth we know will be a witness needed to validate His judgement when He makes the final decision over the entire human race both on earth and in eternity.

The Lord gave some gifts but some decided to sell it for money in the service of God. Some have influence and use it to oppress the church and sometimes be at the fore front of treason. God gave some men large audience but they decided to exploit them to enrich themselves rather than making them sons and daughters of the kingdom with godly character to illuminate the world for Christ. Many choose to remain in sin despite the word of God presented to them on daily basis.

Every opportunity given to you opens door to both life and death. The Lord is admonishing you to choose life. Submit your life and live by His will alone.

"That though the wicked spring up like grass and all evildoers flourish, they are doomed to be destroyed forever." (Psalms 92:7 AMP).

A man can control his action but not the corresponding consequence. No matter how flourishing the life of a wicked man appears to be it is just but for a moment (Ps 1:4).

"The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God." (Psalms 9:17). Irrespective of who you are (be it pastor, bishop, employer, employee, politician or whoever) you will be turn into hell if you forget the word of God and do wickedness.

The likes of Achan probably felt he was at the top of the world when he succeeded in hiding the devoted things contrary to the word of God. Little did he know that he had succeeded in bringing destruction on His family.

Similarly, when Gehazi collected gift from Naaman at a time he shouldn't according to God's word. He did not know that what He was collecting will bring leprosy to his lineage.

The Lord is pleading to you at this very moment that you should repent from every act of wickedness. Don't be eaten up by the fact that nothing is happening to you despite your evil ways. This is because the consequence of every wicked (ungodly) act is destruction.

Men will not but always pass through difficult situations in various affairs of their lives. The Lord allows it in our lives not because He wants to make us suffer but draw us to Himself. Therefore, every difficult situation of your life is exclusively reserved for God's intervention.

We must always remind ourselves that we are humans and there is a limit to what we can do for ourselves and that we will not but always encounter difficult situations as we move on in life. Hence, the need to involve God in various situations of our lives.

The Lord at many times have proven himself as the God of all possibilities. How can we explain the mystery behind the force that parted the red sea to make the Israelites walk on the dry land. How can we describe the manna they ate through the period of 40 years in the wilderness. What more can we say about the resistance against the fury furnace the Lord provided on behalf of the three Hebrews.

How possible is it for 5 breads and 2 fish be used to feed 5000 people yet with 12 baskets left over. All the testimonies about the great wonders of God were written for our learning. Irrespective of your experience don't lose faith in the fact that God is the God of all possibilities.

The world gives its own peace in the countable (physical things) that degenerates with time. It gives diverse orientation of striving to gather things in various aspects of life.

Despite the fact that many get educated with good certificates, get good job, gather things around themselves, makes friend, have fun and highly placed in the society; the fact still remains that most of these things still create a lot of vacuum in the lives of men which gives them some reasons to still worry about life.

We have seen wonderful people in life who commit suicide despite their riches and influence in life. What they have did not give them enough reason to live. It happened to them because they did not invest their lives to serve the prince of peace.

Those (people, nations, cities, families) who fail to invest their entire well being to serve and follow the principle of the Prince of Peace are living in crises. Irrespective of your experience in various aspects of life, the first and foremost solution you need is the presence of the prince of peace.

A woman cannot be regarded as a wife until she is lawfully attached to a man. Therefore, a wife is a woman with a life long identity of a man. In every sane world; a woman can only have a surname which is either that of her father or her husband.

When a woman comes to the point of becoming a wife she assumes a responsibility. The manner in which she handles her responsibility determines whether she is virtuous or not.

Becoming a wife gives every woman the exclusive right to be a mother. It takes a virtuous wife to be a real mother. In the presence of various challenges facing homes; real mothers don't detach themselves from their heads (husbands) nor turn the heart of their children against their husbands.

They hold on and remain a wife to their husbands to be the mother of their children. They do not only nurture their children but also the relationship with their husbands to consistently build their homes with the lively stones of sacrificial love, commitment, faithfulness and perseverance.

Their wombs are never idle because they commit themselves to bringing every seed given to them to the required fruit in various aspects of life. If you have one as a man you indeed have a good thing (Pro 18:22)- a special inheritance you can only get from the Lord (Pro 19:14). Celebrate, esteem, nurture and dignify her.

Every man/woman has a template of what a good husband/wife should be in his/her mind. This template serves as an important parameter that guides marital choice and also determines our expectations in marriage.

Moreover, when a man and a woman is eaten up by the love or passion they have for each other; they are likely to be blind to some reality about themselves. However, a time will come when their eyes will open to those realities in various aspect of life. When this happens they are expected to accept each other and work towards becoming one flesh which is one of the most important essence of marital relationship.

Marriage is instituted to make up with our individual inadequacies. Therefore, we must dwell in marriage knowing fully well that people are happy when they are allowed to be themselves rather than living in the consciousness of various template of expectations.

Every man is expected to communicate his mind, desire under God to his/her spouse and give allowance for the required transformation of oneness to take place. Avoid placing unnecessary pressure of expectation on your spouse; doing that communicates nothing but rejection.

Worshipping God is not limited to singing, dancing and saying beautiful words to Him; but submitting your life to God as a living sacrifice to fulfill His purpose on earth. The Lord sees and considers those living a sinful life as dead men because they do not have hope in His faithfulness. Irrespective of what they claim to do for God in every act of worship; He does not recognise them and their work is regarded as dead works.

If we are created to fulfill purpose; we cannot just live carelessly and any how. We are created to worship Him in every facet of life. He always wants to see us pleasing Him in every domain of our placement.

Lets live our entire lives having this orientation that; irrespective of who we are, our placement and what we will be in life; we are created for His Glory and we have not lived until we please Him to manifest His Glory.

Despite the fact that we are in the world we must not live by its principles. The world has its own principles and these principles do not submit to the law of God. Therefore, whatever you seek in the way of the world is not of God and cannot last.

The exclusive right given to us by God to choose whatever we want in every bid to fulfill our destiny must not be squandered on the altar of worldliness. In every quest to get married, get a Job, follow a career path, relating with other men and worshipping the Lord; you must never follow the principle of the world.

Submit your life to the love of the father (John 3:16) by giving yourself to His principles rather than impressing fleeting men and your lustful desires.

Many are waiting but not actually on God. They seek intervention from any possible source. Nevertheless, solution that comes from God will only be possible in the life of a man who waited and remained in Him without wavering.

In our text, Jesus testified to the fact that these men (4000) have been with Him for three days. It was not the case that they came checking on Him, but patiently waited with Him. Jesus again established the concept of the third day even in this case. Despite being with Him from the first day He didn't address the issue of their physical needs until the third day.

It is not enough that you have been trusting God to do something for you, the most important issue is that are you with Him ? or checking on Him within the available limit before the third day is accomplished? Your plights will only come to remembrance in His presence if you are truly with Him just like the case of the men in our text.

You don't need to run helter skelter in every quest to meeting your needs. Be with Him, learn His ways even as you wait patiently for the third day to be accomplished.

Every man created by God is a needy, our needs differs. However, we have a God who is every ready to meet up with various inadequacies of our lives. He can make you to have in abundance what you lack today if and only if you will trust Him.

In Matt 15:29-39; Great crowd followed Jesus into the wilderness in a bid to hear His word and get healing from their sicknesses. It came to a point in the lives of these men (4000) that they became very hungry. The Lord had compassion on them and will not want a case where some of them will collapse on their way back. He told them to sit down. They obeyed even when it is quite obvious that the available bread couldn't go round. The Lord miraculously fed them and they had more than enough.

Does it appear as if you have nothing despite following God? Are you tempted to go away since the situation around you appears to ridicule your faith in God? Relax and sit properly in the Lord; because everything you lack today, you will have more than enough of them. Every promise He will surely fulfill. You (your reputation, faith, place in God's purpose and eternal presence) will rather collapse trying to go away from the Lord.

We must try as much as possible not to hurt the feelings of the men around us; knowing fully well that we are called to a life of love. Our relationships most of the time defines our strength. The calibre of people around your life determines your personality.

Therefore, since the men around us represents great asset to our lives; we must try as much as possible to always evaluate the consequence of our actions towards others by putting ourselves in the shoes of the person at the receiving end.

At the advent of various offences, which cannot but happen in a relationship, we must always ensure we makeup with the feelings of men through settling of scores and tendering of apology as the case may be.

Don't destroy your relationships, marriage, career on the account of carelessness with respect to the feelings of other men. Keep their feelings alive in as much it is godly and will assist you to fulfill the purpose of God.

Love is the true essence of life. It is the principal virtue of God in the lives of men that makes life beautiful in its entirety. If we can live, sleep, play, relate, eat and do things together; it is as a result of love. When doubt begins to set in; it does not only kill our happiness but also our inter-personal relationship.

Christ loved us not when we became saints but while we were yet sinners. Despite the fact that we were thieves, murderers, adulterers, lairs, perjurers idolaters, drunkards, unrighteous, rebels and the likes; He accepted and adopted us. He believed in the best that could emanate from our lives and gave no room to doubt.

This is the way to love. Irrespective of the past or even the present action and inaction of our loved ones let us never allow doubt about them in our hearts. Doing so will deprive us the happiness meant to get us going in life. As we relate with men, our eyes will be open to some reality about them; we must learn to bear with them, believe in the best that can come from them, hope in their positive change and endure till the change happens. Even in the midst of pretenders (evil men) in the fold of God the same principle is applicable; love will always lift you above all kinds of evil.

The Lord on several occasions commanded men to increase and multiply. This shows His interest in our fruitfulness and multiplicity as men in various aspect of life.

There is a problem when a man is not productive in various aspect of his life. This is because, productivity is the number one divine mandate we have as humans. It is the will of God that your business, ministry, academic, marriage, career, spiritual life to experience progressive increase. It is in your increase that the purpose of God will be established and His Glory will be made know on earth.

Therefore, take responsibility within the limit of your capacity in line with the measure of grace made available to you to experience increase in every domain of your placement.

It is not enough for God to give you a husband/wife, you have to make your marriage work by submitting yourself to God's principle for marriage. It is not enough for Him to give you children, it is your responsibility to nurture them in the way of the Lord.

It is not enough for God to give you a good job, ministry, relationship; it is your responsibility to obey God in His principles in terms of commitment, faithfulness and consistency to remain relevant in every position of placement.

It is not enough to accept Jesus as your Lord and saviour; you must continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling to remain on the Lord's side (Phi 2:12). It is not enough to have spiritual gifts, you must always stir it up(2Tim 1:6).

Irrespective of who you are and how you live your life; the fact still remains that you are under a yoke. No man can live on his own without a driving force controlling every action and inaction. The yoke which you take upon you determines your lifestyle.

Each time you see men that are addicted to strong drinks, cigarette, lying, adultery, fornication, idolatry and the likes; you have seen a man under the yoke of sin. The action and inaction of such a man will not be different from that of the devil.

Anything called yoke does not allow a man to live freely on its own. However, the yoke of the Lord is not burdensome but a type that gives rest. It is the type of yoke that makes a man to remain faithful to his spouse, employer, divine mandate, responsibility and God the maker of all.

Most of the problems we have as believers sometimes are as a result of detaching ourselves from the yoke of the Lord. To live according to God's divine purpose, we must accept to take His yoke upon us.

We are created to do His will on earth just the way it is in Heaven. This was what Lord Jesus taught, when He taught us how to pray.

The major battle in the life of a man is the battle against the resistance to do the will of God. If there is anything the evil one wants to achieve with your life; it is to prevent you from doing the will of God.

The reaction of the Lord Jesus in our text shows it won't be easy for anyone to do God's will until such accepted to do it. The author and the finisher of our faith laid an example for us to follow. No matter how difficult and challenging the will of God appears to be; there is no alternative to it, if we must be happy and fulfilled in Christ Jesus.

No man can do the will of God without the help of God Himself. It is God who work in us both to will and to do His good pleasure (Phil 2:13). However, if God must help you to do His will you must sincerely accept to do it and take the required steps to doing it.

Therefore, there is a cup you must drink and a template or pattern your life must follow if your existence will please God to fit appropriately in God's purpose on earth.

The best the brothers of Joseph could do to Him was to sell him into slavery in a bid to hinder him from fulfilling his dreams. The best the Pharisees and the roman soldiers could do was to crucify the Lord Jesus Christ to prevent Him from being the Lord of all. Similarly, the best king Nebuchadnezzar could do was to throw the three Hebrew into the fiery furnace as a result of their refusal to bow to the golden Image.
Despite all the effort of men in the cases mentioned above; it did not stop what God intended to do in the lives of His people. He allows men to exhaust their capacity before His intervention. Irrespective of the evil you suffered so far from men; there is a limit to what they can do and cannot stop what the Lord wants to do with your life.

There are men who are famous today due to the outstanding success they had in various aspect of life. Their success came not on the platter of gold but on the fact that they took responsibility to confront their problems.
Irrespective of who you are, the fact still remains that you will always come to a point where you will be confronted with your weakness. Yes, it is normal for a man to have difficultly in every bid to achieve a feat in life. In the time of difficulty, you are not expected to give up or take the situation around you as fate but make effort to overcome your weakness.
Don’t be arrogant when confronted with various challenges of life but be humble enough to acknowledge your weakness even as you make deliberate effort to overcome it.
Problems not confronted remains a threat to your life and destiny. You have to be strong as you face your destiny with all sincerity. You will not but come to various point in life where you will have to face your destiny alone.
Is there any sin in your life? Are you failing in any aspect of life? Are you facing difficulty in any aspect of life? Present yourself to God for help and make yourself available to do what He will have you do with respect to the issue confronting your life. You are not a failure until you accept to be one.
