You have heard of what God has done and what He can do. You have seen His works in the lives of men. He can do much more in your life. Your faith in Him is not complete until you experience Him in His fullness and people around you can see Him working through you.

Men of old by the virtue of their experience with God had strong will and desire for Him. They had just one single ambition in all their pursuit which is to please God because they knew Him. Their song is "you take the whole world and give me Jesus". They surrendered their lives because they could not trade their experience with God for ephemeral things of world or even for living.

Experience God through every situation of your life. Everything you will pass through in the journey of destiny will reveal more of God's personality to you. Submit yourself to knowing Him by making His will a priority in every situation.

The mercy of God will single many people out this year. The Lord is set to unleash His blessing on His creation in different dimensions.

This year is the year of divine visitation and supernatural provision. The Lord will surely come for you to reward your faithfulness, truthfulness, righteousness and fruitfulness in various aspect of life. He will not pass you by if you are found faithful to His work and obedient to His word.

He will bless people with good health, husband, wife, children, car, house, job, academic achievement, progress in career, spiritual upliftment and promotion at different levels. He will not pass you by, if you find favour in His eyes.

However, we will be deceiving ourselves if we believe and think that there will be no deaths, accidents, job loss, divorce, kidnaps, disasters, pestilence, sicknesses, heart breaks and the likes. It is only by His mercy that these things will not come near you. Be on the Lord's side.

Many things in life will not but always make you sad; however, you must always make effort to be happy in the Lord!!!

Life is all about ups and downs, light and darkness, joy and sadness. In every situation, be mindful of the fact that life is what happens while you are planning other things. Be happy in the Lord in every situation even when the devil gives you an obvious reason to be sad.

You will see people going ahead of you in various aspect of life, to be happy you must keep moving with Joy if you must get to your destination as planned by God for you. Also, try and make people around you to be happy. Make effort to make your husband, wife, parent and children happy; that's a way to surround your life with happiness.

I observed something during the new year, while some countries were jubilating at the reception of the new year some were still waiting for time; some for 6, 5, 4 hours and so on. That's the nature of the earth we are. Irrespective of how terrible your situation may appear to be the fact still remains that there is a light after every tunnel. Be happy always; let the joy of the Lord be your strength.

In year 2018, you must decide to serve the Lord faithfully and steadfastly. Obviously, your time of stay on earth is running out gradually as the years go by.

You were created not to add to the number of those on earth but to make a mark in the sand of time serving the Lord.

Fanny Crosby can never be remembered for the cars, houses and many wonderful things she possessed while on earth but for the spiritual songs she composed in active service to God which remains inspirational in our churches today. Each time those songs are sang her work becomes fresh.

When a man dies the only thing left for him is his service towards his creator; what you do in the name of the Lord is what is truly your own.

In everything you do for a living all the days of your life do it as unto the Lord. Let God be seen and glorified through your service in the land of the living.

Long life is not necessarily living longer years in the land of the living but living long with remarkable relevance. Long life is termed as a prolonged useful life.

Some people died so many years ago but pain of their exit appears to be fresh at every point of their remembrance due to their impact in the lives of men and the vacuum their departure created. Despite the fact that they are no more they continue to live in the hearts of men. The mark they made in the sand of time is obvious in their services to humanity, in their books, songs, hymns and messages.

Hon. Adigun Ezekiel (of Blessed Memory) provided the Shoe I used on my wedding day. How can I forget Him? Can I forget my wedding day? Every service rendered in the name of God keeps a part of you for relevance in the land of the Living. The service of King Hezekiah and Dorcas prolonged their days in the land of the living.

There are many of such people. They are choristers, interpreters, ushers, ministers who served the Lord after which they passed into eternity. You also have the opportunity today. Allow God to always find reasons to keep you alive. The only sure way to achieving this is to declare His works!

The Glory of the Lord is revealed through His works in the lives of men. God did not spare you to display affluence through clothes, cars, houses, position and influence. Many of those people who died left most of these things behind and passed into eternity. The cars, houses and other things they left became another's.

You are alive not for anything but to worship God by declaring His Glory. You cannot be a thief, murderer, fornicator, adulterer, living in unrighteousness and claim to declare His Glory.

In this year you must decide to declare the works of God; that's the way to show His Glory. Let the Lord be pleased with your existence. In the midst of your pursuit always allow God to work in you to do His good pleasure.

Therefore, do not consider the things of old. Forget the fact that you have failed and not faithful or righteous in many ways, take a new decision to walk faithfully and righteously. Don't consider the fact that you have failed nor had little achievement despite much effort put in place. The Lord kept you to do a new thing in your life and you will have new experience.

Decide to serve God the more. Pray, fast, dig deep in His word and be in cordial relationship with Him the more. New testimonies of His faithfulness will be revealed in your life!

Everything about Him is wonderful. His birth is wonderful. His ministry is characterised by signs and wonders. The summary of His lifestyle among men is nothing but wonderful. His death on the Cross of Calvary was allowed to work out wonders for the entire human race. You have not seen wonders until you allow His lifestyle to find expression in your life.

You have to surrender your life to Him if you must experience wonders in all facet of life. There is no wonders except the work of God through Christ Jesus in your life.

You will surely be what the Lord wants you to be irrespective of the experience you have had so far in life. You have to submit your entire life to Jesus and allow Him to live His life in you to work out His good pleasure in your life.

God in His attributes does not turn down men's request but respond to them in His best interest for them. Sometimes, His answer may be No, Wait or Yes with respect to the best interest of the man involved. Hence, God answers all prayers.

Irrespective of whatever reaction your prayers will get from God; don't hesitate to make your request known to Him. Pray to God always and pray about everything. The fact that God is omniscience does not change the fact that only those who ask will receive.

Make praying to God a habit and your lifestyle; that's the only way to prove to Him that you absolutely put your trust in Him.

Despite the fact that God spoke concerning various enterprises of the devil in the lives of those who submit themselves to the sinful nature in these last days the fact still remains that He also spoke about those whose life will be available for God to do His good pleasure.

For those who are His children, they will speak concerning the things to come and look forward for the manifestation of the work of God in various aspect. The Young people will see what the Lord is doing and what He intends to do in days to come. Also, the feebleness of old men will not also hinder them from having sweet dreams of what the Lord is set to do.

This provision is for all men. Submit yourself to do the will of God and fulfill His purpose in the land of the living. Make not your life available to support the evil enterprise of the evil one in these last days.

The one we want to impress most of the time influences our actions. It also determines what effort or sacrifice we must put in place to achieve it. Also, their comments will go a long way to determine if you will experience fulfillment in it.

Don't live your life to impress men or the sinful nature. Men are temporal with short memories. New invention and discovery kill the memory of old things. Don't impress the world; it will never favour you but rather take your best and leave you empty and still wanting.

If you live to impress the Lord it is a good thing and you are on the right track. The fact that your existence was never your idea establish the fact that He created you to fulfill His purpose. If you truly belong to Him your focus, dressing, marriage, academics, career and other aspect of your life will be tailored towards fulfilling His purpose. God the Father will always be with you if you live to please Him just like Christ did.

Things of this life will not but give you several options with respect to various situation about your life. However, whatever the case may be, If God will not save you no one will.

Despite the fact that God has good plans and interest for all men the fact still remains that He will only use those who are ready to be with Him no matter how tough the road may be and the cost involved.

Ruth and Orpah were given the option to go back to their people, God and land but Ruth refused to go back. This made her a contributor to the success story of man's redemption.

It is true that many things are drawing you and many people are turning away from the Lord and His principle. Will you also go? When tempted to go away; always remember that what you need to settle the situation of your past, present and future is in the Lord.

Focus: Understanding Faith

Faith is faith when its source is God. Faith, irrespective of its dimension comes from hearing God!!!

"So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (Romans 10:17 NKJV).

You don't have faith until you hear from God through His word. All the heroes of Faith whose chronicle is in Hebrew 11; were men who received the word of God. They were men of faith because the word of God came to them and they submitted themselves to act accordingly.

When the word of the Lord comes to you in the form of instruction, promises or vision for coming days; know that you will be subjected to a test of faith which places you on a contrary experience. God promises to give Abraham Canaan land yet he lived in a tent as a foreigner in the land but died in the same land believing what God had said. Afterwards, his descendants possessed the land in fulfillment to the word of God- this is faith.

Therefore, faith is not about your wishes or desire but about God's will and desire. When you key into what God wants to do either for your life or for the kingdom business that is when you have faith. Hence, Faith is absolute obedience to God's word!

It is not of us to think on behalf of God how certain things will be done. Nevertheless, God expects you as His own child to believe Him for everything concerning your life.

Sometimes, when the Lord is set to make a man to trust Him more; He places before Him what is beyond His capacity to test how much He believes in Him. Men by nature will naturally go to God when things gets out of hand after every other means fail. In the light of this kind of situation never think of impossibility but seek God to help your unbelief.

Don't allow your previous experiences to hinder you in possessing what God planned for you. Believe God for your progress, transformation and long awaited miracles as you move into the new month.

If you die you may not live again. Therefore, you must not die till you experience the change and renewal your soul desires. You must fulfill purpose and make your own mark in the sand of time. You must enjoy the goodness of the Lord in the living.

It is not the plan of God for you to die without a testimony of remarkable transformation in various aspect of life.

Various experiences you are having is tailored towards your change and renewal of your orientation, focus and understanding about life, purpose, people and God.

You have to wait and submit yourself to various development process required for your renewal or change as the case maybe with you and your destiny.

The Lord Jesus relates with different category of people; the rich, poor, male, female, children, young people, adult, sinners, unbelievers, believers, religious leaders and followers, the Jew and the non-Jews. Most times they came to Him and sometimes He goes to them.
If the spirit of Christ is truly in a man, he cannot but be simple. He will be loving, caring and approachable. His life will be an extended hand of the creator meeting the needs of men.
The Lord wants us to possess a child-like heart towards Him and in our relationship with men. Despite the fact that a man cannot but live by certain principles peculiar to his life the fact still remains he created to affect lives and so he must be simple.
The Lord is looking forward for homes that will provide shelter for the homeless, food for the hungry, future for the hopeless and refuge for those in danger. Make yourself available to be used of God to affect lives. Christ is able to help us and meet our needs because He came down to our level to identify our needs by experience.

Therefore, the Lord made it clear to us through His word that we can only overcome evil with good and not by retaliation using the principle of an eye for an eye.

The Lord did not only teach forgiveness and love toward enemies but also revealed it in His lifestyle when He prayed that father forgive them for they know not what they are doing on the cross of calvary. Stephen also did the same because the Spirit of God in Him is not different from that of Christ. By this very action we know that there is no evil in Him.

You are sowing an evil seed when you fail to forgive or each time you open your mouth to curse, speak evil and slander be it in conversation, personal meditation or even in prayer.

Will it help you to do His commands? Be very careful of the way you acquire things for yourself because sin at any level of life is a reproach only righteousness exalts a nation.

Therefore, the only picture or standard for any man that will stand in God's presence is Christ Jesus. The righteousness of a man at any level of life is regarded as a filthy rag before God. Hence, becoming like Jesus is not an option but a must for any man who must stand in the presence of God.

To be like Him you must deny yourself, carry your cross daily and follow Him in His steps (Luke 9:23). Submit your life to God and allow Him to work in you to do His good pleasure. Don't live your life having your confidence only in the fairness of God to all mankind.

David had been anointed as the king of Israel after the Lord rejected King Saul but didn't have access to the throne immediately. The most interesting part of this issue was that people were not ignorant of the fact that he had been anointed yet they never rooted for him because his time had not come.

The Lord has perfected that which concerns you; it will only manifest at the appointed time provided you cooperate with Him to workout His good pleasure in your life (Isa 64:4). Here, we saw the elders coming to David to make Him king without any obstacle.
God is revealing to us again through the life of David that despite His wonderful plans for us; they won't come automatically and suddenly. It involves time and process to bring about the required preparation and character development.

Here we saw King David taking more wives and concubines. He invested so much in gathering women. Even though God never showed displeasure over it, apart from the case of the death of Uriah on the account of his wife; the fact still remains that his real personality in the love for women became very clear. This singular attitude caused Him alot of trouble in his destiny work with God.

Our Lord Jesus was tempted at the fullness of time for His manifestation. Yours will not be an exception. As you will be coming to lime light of various success and achievement in life; be mindful of the fact that your integrity, personality and standing in God will be tested.

Life can be categorised in 3 stages: morning, afternoon and evening/night. The morning stage is the childhood stage. It is the time when man begins to grow into life to learn his environment and major life's decision are made for him. At this point, man don't really worry his needs. It is also a stage where man believes and accept many things of life as standard for living. Hence, every man has the sole responsibility to teach his children to walk in the pathways he desires for them to walk even at old age.

The afternoon stage is the time of youthfulness. A time of yoke bearing and work. It is also a time that a man should be wise enough to face the reality of life because it is a point when most things about him becomes permanent. A time to fine your real identity in profession, career, marriage and other aspect of life.

The night stage is the time of life's evaluation, a time to look up and prepare for eternity. When your body (skin, legs, hands, teeth, eyes and body organ) begins to fail you, know that the night is coming and you are about to sleep just like others who is before you.

Most of the times God allows us to have some experience just to bring us into the reality of the nature of the world we are. Right from the fall of man; nothing is automatic, every man has to pay a price for anything good (Gen 3:17).

God is able to give us wonderful things of life on a platter of gold but by principle He wouldn't. The Lord Jesus taught us to ask if we want to receive. Therefore, a closed mouth sometimes leads to a closed destiny.

Similarly, you must not sit down and fold your hands and expect things to happen automatically; take responsibility to seek for whatever you desire in order to find it. There are several doors in life which will never be opened to you if you don't take the needed steps to knock at. Knocking precedes every open door. However, you must always seek God to know what to ask, where to seek and the door to knock at every point in time.
