Between Ralph Uwazurike and Nnamdi Kanu
Both men are Igbos. Uwazurike heads MASSOB. He was born in Okwe in
Imo state. He holds 2 degrees namely in Political Science and Law from
Punjab and Bombay Universities, both in India.
On the other hand, Kanu was born in Isiama-Afara community in Abia
state. He attended the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in Enugu state.
Afterwards, he left for London for more education. Kanu used to be the
London Coordinator of MASSOB before he left the group due to
differences with Uwazurike to form the Indigenous People of Biafra
(IPOB).
The questions every Igbo should ask himself are, if both men truly believe
Igbos have been relegated to the background in the scheme of things in
Nigeria, why are both men not living among them and eke out their
livelihood in the South East? Can Uwazurike say confidently that he does
not have any asset outside Igbo land? Why was there a friction between
Uwazurike and Kanu? Why didn’t both men settle their differences and
continue to speak with one voice under a single group?
Furthermore, some members of IPOB alleged that MASSOB under
Uwazurike has sold out the conscience of the Igbos to the government for
a pot of porridge. They claim that the MASSOB leader collects money
regularly from some government officials in the name of Biafra.
The Biafra house is already divided. Therefore, “a house divided against
itself cannot stand.”

assassination of 11 senior Nigerian politicians and
two soldiers as well as kidnapping three others was
led by Kaduna Nzeogwu (an igbo) and General
Johnson Aguiyi-Ironsi (another igbo)then used the
coup as a pretext to annex power, ending Nigeria's
nascent democracy. Then along came a counter
coup led by Lt. Col. Murtala Mohammed which
resulted to murder of Gen Aguiyi Ironsi as a
reaction to the killings of Northern politicians and
Officers by mostly Igbo soldiers.
Ojukwu felt Brigadier Babafemi Ogundipe was the
highest in the hierarchy of power and should be
made head of state. But when the coup plotters
insisted and made Gowon the head of state, Ojukwu
got pissed and this led to the civil war. Brigadier
Ogundipe opted out peacefully, but pride did not
allow Ojukwu to let go. Apart from the Aburi Accord
in Ghana, there were a lot of other accords to settle
issues amicably, but Ojukwu was bent on ruling his
own oil rich country “Baifra”.

wealth, he arrogated himself to a god of war without
minding how many lives he would destroy.
Did you think Biafrans rebels combated openly with
the Nigerian army? Apart from some cheap
ambushes like the Abagana, where could they have
confronted the Nigerian armies. Biafrans dealt with
Biafrans. The rebels captured Igbo cities and
tormented innocent lives. Raping young women and
forcefully taking wives from their husbands.
Recruiting boys between the ages of 13-15 and
above into their army. Killed any person suspected
of sabotage. The saboteurs were worn the Nigerian
army uniform, killed and termed Nigerian soldiers.
Igbos suffered, but Nigerian armies rescued the
captured cities one after the other, until all was
rescued.
Benin City was captured by the Biafran soldiers
alongside Auchi, Agenebode, Okene, Asaba, Agbor ,
Iloshi and Atani while indiscriminately shooting and
killing armless civilians in the process. Unbeknownst
to General Banjo (the leader of this mobilization
who was a Yoruba) a unit of Biafran soldiers under
Lt. Col. Oechi attacked the government residence of
Mid-Western Region governor David Ejoor at the
behest of President Odumegwu Ojukwu to capture
Ejoor dead or alive. Not wanting to appoint an Igbo
over non-Igbo citizens General Banjo suggested that
either David Ejoor, Sam Ogbemudia, or Col. Trimnell
be made governor but Ojukwu refused and
ultimately placed the Igbo medical-officerAlbert
Okonkwo governor.
Ojukwu would finally execute Vitor Banju,
Emmanuel Ifeanjuna (The first black African to ever
win an international gold medal) and one Alale
following a plot to agree a ceasefire with Nigeria. Let

called pro-Biafrans should know that the only
solution is to try to accept a modus vivendi and let’s
live in peace and unity, and stop living in cloud

impact on him, and he has succeeded in
brainwashing some gullible and incredulous igbo

anyone remember the names the igbos who have
died for this Nnamdi madness? No! Only Nnamdi
Kanu is the cynosure.

Prior to Jesus coming to this earth, the Bible reveals that only a very
few had God's Spirit. These included some of the prophets and
individuals, such as David, with whom God specifically worked ( 1
Peter 1:10-11; Psalms 51:11).
Now we must determine when people enter the Kingdom of God. Many
people today assume that people who have died with the Spirit of God
are now in heaven. But the Bible reveals that this is a
mistaken assumption.
In A.D. 31 on the Day of Pentecost, the apostle Peter said of David,
“that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this
day” ( Acts 2:29). Years later, Paul wrote that the dead in Christ (those
who had died with God's Spirit) would be resurrected (brought back to
life) when Christ returns a second time to this earth ( 1 Thessalonians
4:17). The Kingdom of God will thus be established when Jesus
returns to this earth at some time in the future (Revelation 11:15).
The Bible reveals that no human beings have yet ascended into heaven
( John 3:13). All humans who have died (even those who have had
God's Spirit dwelling within them) are waiting in their graves for the
return of Jesus Christ to establish the Kingdom of God on earth.
