Most Cloud Monitoring Apps has 5 mins delay including the Deye because data is accumulated and pushed to the cloud, but Deye has a function that can let you pull data directly from the inverter briefly. TechGeek777: |

Not a wise expenditure, you will spend more on the long run. When you install an inverter and battery, and light power goes of for 2 hours, traditionally you will switch over to inverter. Ok, you drain 5KWh from your battery before power is restored, your inverter will have to use your Units of 5KWh + Energy used in conversion and powering system components to dump back that 5KWh into the battery (a process we call recharging the battery) so you might end up using up to 7KWh energy to recharge your battery that you drained 5KWh from except you are not paying for the power supply you are getting. So you see, you took less and paid more. Solar is the way to go bro, If you ain't doing solar, don't waste your money. This is an advice you may not comprehend right away though. chidekings: |
It's like we are just birds of the same feather ooo. I just dey spend on top this solar matter and I never had any reason to get sleepless nights over any doubts about it. I can imagine how odd my neighbors will be feeling that everywhere is in darkness and I'm fully powered and even using AC on top of that. It pains me more to think that the National Grid they are shutting down is even happening after some people have loaded their prepaid meters. So it means that even after subscribing, you are still not assured of service provision. They already have your money, they have even spent it and then they turn around to flip the switch on you on the disguise of Grid Collapse, Strike and etc. Liberate yourselves people. Nice setup, thumbs up to you. But your Bi-Facial Panels will not do well from the look of the installation. Bi-Facial panels do better when installed in places where direct reflections will hit the down facing surface. My advice, If the sun rises or sets from the direction you took the picture, try buying some stainless steel sheets (the one they use to make gates) and attach on that wall and floor of the area where your panels casts shadows. They're pure Deye Batteries, no combos. It appears the Deye Lithium Batteries are better built than the overrated Pylontec Batteries. I will post a take apart video of both soon. Hybrid600: |
Not recommended, except you are going to populate the MPPTS on both 30KW Units with equal PV Strings. If not, just do 50KW x1 Unit. Consequences of not doing the bolded will lead to both systems misunderstanding battery status. If both are not balanced in all PV inputs, the unit with less PV will always drain from battery to compensate consumption while the unit with more PV will always pump power to the battery compensate the power that it's brother is sucking. kristien4:You were loosing 16% of the panel power. That falls between STC and NOTC of the panel. Your harvest is good, some panels would not even do up to NOTC. This is why you should factor in such energy loses in your build. Some people might see this as oversizing but it's not. |

They provide support via their vendors on ground, they don't have service centers, so they don't repair, vendors can only claim warrantee and parts will be dispatched to them. You as a buyer bought the item after it has been on vendor's shelf for half a year, you bring it in for a fix after ten months, vendors warrantee with the manufacturer ended six months ago. Now you understand why some vendors will stop replying your emails and calls and the postings will last almost forever until you tire out and move with your life. |
moneyest:opps, I must have missed this question. I would go for Growatt SPF 5000 ES anytime and over. The truth is Schneider Electric Homaya Pro S4000 Inverter is Transformer based. From my experience with Transformer based inverters, they are not perfect at Battery Management or Battery Saving. Some are not very Intelligent also. The only advantage I may have spotted is that Transformer based are better to handle inductive loads than the Transformerless. Side by side key points has been listed as the PROS and CONS of both designs. Transformer-based PROS Due to the complexity in their designs, transformer inverters are built with electrical isolation between DC and AC circuits which lowers the risk of shock and surges. They are rugged and suitable for inductive load. CONS Transformer inverters require extra components which comes at an extra cost, making them more expensive than transformerless inverters. They are usually bulky and take up more space. Transformerless PROS Transformerless inverters are much lighter and compact compared to the transformer-based inverters. With Transformerless inverters energy losses are avoided as well as extra components costs, making it more affordable. Transformerless inverters use electronic (rather than mechanical) switching, thereby reducing the amount of heat generated by the inverter. CONS Transformerless inverters are more prone to surges and shocks because they are less complex in design. Although, some inverters come with inbuilt surge protectors to avert that, it is advisable to use external surge protectors for safety purposes. Finally, THE CHOICE IS ACTUALLY YOURS |
