Omo...these steep roofs(send down the rain roofs) are really bad for solar generation.
These past few weeks, my battery has barely charged past 45 to 50%. Something that gets to 100% b4 2pm before now. It's seems the sun direction has changed. Now it currently favours North on my roof while my panels are facing south.
The solution now is an expensive solution. I need to install new panels facing north and buy a new charge controller and cables

By the way, who sells growatt 120A charge controller. I need one for this upgrade.

Between , hope my lithium battery not charging to 100% daily won't affect it?.

A quick hack to the dust issue could be just lying the stab on it's side rather than standing it upright. That is if the heavy coils are well secured inside for that orientation though.

That way dust would take a very long time to settle in the contact surfaces.

I intend to purchase a 5Kva stabilizer to boost the low voltage supply.

I intend to connect it to my Freezer, and TV

My question is should I go for the conventional big century Stabilizer or a wall mounted stabilizer?
What are the differences in terms of durability and performance?
If there a re better brands I could get also, I'd appreciate.

So I don't wanna make another terrible error, this time with a central stabilizer. I may need to get one anytime as I was able to secure a prepaid meter that has for a while been installed but not used cos it had some error codes which made me unable to load a key change code and credit. The issue has been resolved. So I discovered the voltage supply is a terrible regular 160v and seldom 180v.

I did some searches and saw Prag, A&E dunamis models (10kva) and another funny name like this (Jor-El) 😁 as in Karl Kent name.

Anyways experienced users should kindly provide some info.

• Which models are tested and trusted? Few days ago, I pulled out about 4 units from storage that I last used about 6 years ago and realised they can't seem to handle the 160v input.

• How durable are these things? I read one of the reviews on Konga where a buyer cursed that the Jor-El he bought didn't last more than 6 months and it stopped working.

• How good are they in protecting appliances? My appliances have been safest on solar for many years now but foraging back into NEPA means I may be courting damage to these appliances from overvoltages, undervoltages and fluctuations.

• Any other questions that I may have missed but that experienced users know will also be welcome.

NB: I assume 10kva may suffice for loads which I anticipate may max to around 4kva with future upgrades/addition of appliances.

I also do not intend to hook my inverter AC charging unit to anything NEPA under any conditions whatsoever. It should continue to use the solar charging abeg, to avoid stories that touch.

I've however thought about installing an automatic rapid changeover switch to handle the change from inverter to NEPA whenever the latter gets the seizure brain waves to provide supply.

I understand completely. My intention is to go with what people already have empirical evidences on, as it is tabled here for instance. So dual inverter it'll be. Or maybe even the newer dual inverter type B, as someone has mentioned here.

From what I've read here, hisense' performance is better than LG's. But I don't think Hisense has at par energy saving options as LG has. I haven't even come across any hisense special names for AC the same way LG has (smart inverter, dual inverter) or Thernocool (Genpal)

But it is always way cheaper than LG and thermocool which basically market their already established names. Not just their ACs but most of their appliances.

As per that deal, I hope they find buyer soon jàre. I don't like the way I'm seeing that AC everyday. It makes me mad with myself each time I see it or use it.

If una find anybody wey dey interested sha. I'm even ready to foot the logistics bills to the person.

The inverter was on last night but the Felicity controller was already at sleep even b4 the rain started, immediately the thunder struck the whole light went off and my inverter was just making a continuous beeping sound the display on the body went blank only the fan was working I switched it off and waited for sometime then put it back on same beeping sound with only fan work and display blank I didn't even know it also affected my Felicity controller only till this morning wen the controller didn't wake up

Is LG dual inverter different from LG smart inverter? I got the latter and it seems that the consumption only drops to around 850w after working for about 5 hours after the room temp has reached like 25 degrees. The setpoint on the remote is the lowest (16 degrees). The ramp up consumption when it starts is around 1015w

I also read in the manual that some model has "energy saving" mode, but it seems I can't find that option in this model of mine.

I hope I havent gotten the wrong model for use on solar set up.

That's what the installer I contacted said I need to run it. How bad is it? And how easy is it to get the one you are recommending? Someone also told me that because the panels are big that the cables have to be 10mm.

Lithium generally has nothing to do with sulphation.

Which should I buy first? I was thinking of the growatt SPF ES5000, then panels and batteries.

Which type of panels should I get and battery type too.

Any other recommendations are welcome, especially ways or materials that will not cost me a lot but still be able to work

Based on specifications, what you experienced is normal.. it can output 6500w maximum.

13A x 500V on each tracker. Is 6500w
That's 120A charging at 48V norminal which is the maximum it can charge.

But don't expect it to output 6500 on both trackers to give 13kw.. it will simply throttle them to 3250w each and output 6500w.

That's why it's written maximum full Load 250V per tracker. So if you have like 13kw. The trackers will work at 250V /13A + 250V/13A which is 6500w

Just like Epever allows you to use 2 tracker as 1, or allow them to operate as independent 2 tracker, output is still limited to maximum output.

Yes the 15kwh is battery (DIY EVE LF304Ah or EVE MB31 314Ah cells).

They are the Hi-Mo 6.

Ok I'll work towards the additional 6 panels as recommended after I get the extra battery.

If below is to be true that means the the 500v is the combined max voltage of the 2 MPPTs.

Meaning each MPPT is 250v/13A totalling 6500w for both.

Please clarify ify assumption is wrong.

Maybe Deye is different then, cos I'm 100% aware that for SRNE, their 2 MPPT trackers are independent of the max input pv of 6500watt, 125v nominal voltage and 500v max pv n attached is my proof

I currently have 5x 570w Longi on the PV1 and 5x 625w Jinko on the PV2 which are both doing great.

Will add to more 2x 570w or 580w Longi and 2x 625w Jinko to the setup as I plan on adding a 15kwh to the already existing 5kwh.

The 2 MPPT trackers are 6500watt apart and the 370v (125 - 500v) is for individual MPPT tracker n not combined. So in total, ur 2 MPPT trackers can take 6,500watt x 2 = 13kw all together

Please I need your input on Deye inverter specs.

Mine is the 5kw with 2 MPPTs, the specs reads;

Max PV input power of 6500w.
PV input voltage 370vdc (125vdc - 500vdc).
PV input current 13Adc + 13Adc.

Now I understand that the input current is 13A for both MPPTs but I don't know if same is the case for the input voltage.

My question is "is the 370v (125v - 500v) for each of the MPPTs or a combined voltage for both MPPTs"?

I want to increase my panels wants to know if I can still add to already existing setup or make provision for an external CC.
