Over the weekend, Olakunle, achieved a mile stone when he was awarded a degree in Benin Republic due to his achievement through ICT and also supported Kanu Nwankwo's club.He's on the verge of another success story.

Olakunle is set to acquire about 25 plots of land from Numatville Megacity, for the purpose of investment. He is set to build a multi-million ICT company, language institute with hostels.

Speaking to JOY tv, Nigerian entertainment mogul, Dele Momodu has addressed jibes directed at him by singer, Davido.

In the 17 minutes long interview with the Ghanaian based media house, Chief Momodu spoke about Nigeria-Ghana collaborations and the state of the entertainment industry in the West African country of Ghana before being well drilled over Davido’s jibe by the host.

Responding to the remarks made by Davido in the track, Bahd Bado Baddest where he called the entertainment mogul, “His boy”, chief Dele Momodu said:

“Sometimes your fans may mislead you, and i know what he is doing is what every other artistes does, you want to sell records, so you have to create controversy.”

“I don’t think David will see me and say i’m his boy, Im his father (Smiles) …Why would i fight with my own child, i can’t fight him and now we are connected together through that baby… i can never fight David….. He is too small for me… Never!”

“On Ovation TV…almost every week they are playing “Osinachi” despite the fact that Osinachi is using style to attack me”

The Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima denied having any connection with the posters bearing his image and that of Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, depicting them as aspiring for the 2019 Presidency. To completely denounce the poster, Shettima wrote a letter to President Muhammadu Buhari and Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase saying that the posters are fraudulent. "I have been directed by His Excellency, the Executive of Borno State, Kashim Shettima to bring to the IGP’s notice, dozens of fraudulently produced posters bearing his name and picture claiming he is aspiring for the 2019 Presidency. The posters have been pasted on some routes in Abuja and Kaduna.

2. Governor Kashim Shettima regards this development as a highly mischievous plot that is aimed at destabilizing the emerging peace in Borno State through creation of unnecessary political tension while on the other hand it might aim at creating gap between the Borno State Government and the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration (which just marked it’s first year in office) with a wicked agenda of undermining the current cohesion between the two arms of Government working together in the last one year for the collective goal of ending the Boko Haram insurgency.

3. From a different information we have gathered, the posters are suspected to be the handiwork of a particular group of politicians trying to set the Borno State Government and the APC in the State against the National headquarters of the APC and the Federal Government so as to lay a ground for a plan by the group of politicians to join the APC in Borno State and hijack the party’s machinery.

4. His Excellency, Governor Kashim Shettima has directed me to most respectfully request the following:

i. The Inspector General of Police authorizes an immediate investigation to establish the source of the posters and the purpose for which the plot is meant with appropriate steps taken to arrest and prosecute those behind the posters under relevant provisions of the law.

ii. Any person at all seen pasting the posters in whatever form and on any place in all parts of Nigeria be it private or public should be arrested and prosecuted by the Nigeria Police Force for impersonation and attempts to undermine public peace and other provisions of law.

5. Governor Kashim Shettima finds these posters embarrassing and assures the Inspector General of Police that whoever is seen pasting any of them any where, does so without his prior knowledge and approval.

6. The Governor is of the strong opinion that what is needed in the country now is for all Nigerians and tiers of Government, particularly the Borno State Government, to support and work with the President Muhammadu Buhari Administration in a clearly determined effort to restore peace in Borno State.

7. Governor Shettima feels Nigeria neither needs nor deserves ridiculous and immoral campaign and it’s associated distractions for 2019 elections when the sitting President has just marked his first year in office managing serious challenges inherited from the previous administration” the letter reads.

The letter was received by the IGP’s office on Tuesday and copied to the Director-General of the Department of State Security. It is not clear if any arrest has been made yet," he wrote.

A fire outbreak created panic among students and lecturers at about 11am today 27th of May, 2016, at the Cross River State College of Education, COE Akamkpa female hostel.

The fire started in the change-over switch at the hostel entrance and caused extensive damage to the building and property of the residents with no immediate help or means of putting off the inferno.

The fire extinguishers at the hostel were empty at the time of the fire incident. It was after this event that the College Management bought new ones just today.

The Deputy Provost, Dean of Students Affairs, Hostel Supervisors and some lecturers rushed to the scene of the incident after the fire outbreak.


There would have been very serious fatalities from the inferno had it been students did not go for lectures.

One of the female students who was sleeping in the hostel while the inferno was raging (name withheld), suffocated and was bleeding profusely, but authorities had rushed her to the hospital at the time of filing this report.

Narrating what happened,an eyewitness said......

'The incident is as a result of electricity upsurge. Yesterday the engineer tried to pump the uncharged water tap, but could not pump water, so he left without informing the management that there is electricity fault, so the next morning when the generator was powered, it resulted to this incident that has now inconvenienced all the dwellers in the female hostel B’.

Davido is back on Twitter, taunting Sophia Momodu’s uncle again.

“How fa na, uncle Dele? You for tell me make I buy you ticket,” the singer, who is currently in Dubai for Toolz/Tunde Demuren’s wedding, said in a Snapchat clip, and his gang also joined in mocking the Ovation magazine publisher.

The HKN artiste and his babymama Sophia Momodu were embroiled  in a nasty custody battle. For fighting for his cousin, Davido has since refused to let Dele Momodu rest.





While Davido may have made peace with Sophia, he consistently mocks Dele Momodu.

In his remix of HumbleSmith’s ‘Osinachi’, the Aye’ singer took jabs at the publisher, and in recent Twitter post, he danced as the fans at the concert chanted ‘Dele na my boy, Dele na my boy’.

Now, Davido is in Dubai for an event and he couldn’t resist making fun of the elderly publisher, to his team member’s amusement.

Not long after he shared the Snap, fans remarked on Twitter and he stood by his statement.
