Freeze has called out Seun Egbegbe for insulting Toyin Aimakhu‘s love drama.According to Freeze,Seun does not love Toyin based on the interviews he has granted to journalists so far.Read what he wrote belo..... From the interviews Seun has been granting concerning his relationship with @aimakhutoyin, embarrassing snippets of which are being released one after the other, to an audience with an insatiable appetite for drama, I have deduced that he never loved her, rather, was infatuated with her on-screen persona. If he truly loved her, he would have respected her ‘status’ as a public figure instead of exploiting it through cheap publicity. I don’t think it’s fair for Seun to think he can have a relationship with her on-screen alter ego, if he is not ready to love and respect her as a ‘woman’ first! Seun said all sorts of demeaning things about her. With statements like “I gave her my Range and entered Taxis” to his credit, you can catch a glimpse into his mindset. (By the way that car is not a ‘Range’ it’s an LR3 which is a ‘Land Rover’ and not a ‘Range Rover’). I thought that statement was a bit off, but unknown to me, that would only become the inception of a harrowing onslaught, directed at her person in front of a cheering audience. Why should Seun say, “Toyin is not ready to live in any man house” like he put it in his ‘Queen’s English’? The fact that he failed at having a successful relationship with her doesn’t mean every single man who tries would also fail. Until Sir Edmund Hillary climbed to the summit of Mount Everest, it was considered impossible because every man before him failed. Seun, what you did to her would drown most women but not Toyin, as she personifies the strength of a woman, under pressure she didn’t crack! She ‘chested’ it like we used to say back in secondary school, when a teacher flogged you and you pretended like it didn’t hurt! It didn’t remove the agony from the situation, it just showed that the combined force of her inner strength and high pain threshold, have done a ‘back to sender’, thereby reversing the consequence of Your action and the joke is now on you. My advice is, do her an apology for what you have said and move on, hopefully you guys can still be friends and gain from each other, one way or another. And while your at it, please stop talking and granting interviews because honestly………we have laughed enough! Source: http://www.trezzyblog.com/2016/04/freeze-calls-out-seun-egbegbe-for.html

At the on-going NECLive 4, Mavin first lady, Tiwa Savage was among a 7-member panel which deliberated on ‘Content Marketing: The Power of Music, Comedy & More’. While speaking on difficulties many Nigerian artistes go through in order to promote their content, the ‘Eminado’ singer said: "I was in the UK recently. They have people called ‘Music Pluggers’. These people are professionals who help artistes plug their songs on radio and also ensure that the songs get enough airplay. "But here in Nigeria, we artistes have to take our CDs to radio stations ourselves. We tend to build relationships with OAPs and DJs. We always ensure that we send messages to them on their birthdays because many of us believe that if we don’t do that, they might not play our songs. "I don’t think Rihanna has to know the OAP or the DJ on a breakfast show before getting airplay. I think we need those middle men that will be handling our music promotions." Yesterday, Davido ridiculed his cousin, the rapper B-Red, and accused him of being jealous of new HKN artiste Mayor Kun, and as though to piss off the cousin, the ‘Aye’ singer went on a shopping spree yesterday at a jewelry store in Atlanta. “Shopping for my boys,” he captioned the snap which shows an array of diamond-studded jewelry. The drama between Davido and his cousin started yesterday when he took to Snapchat to rant about his ‘own blood who was ‘hating’ on the new successful artiste, Mayor Kun. “My own blood hating on me over Mayorkun’s success, wow!” Davido said, and then drove the knife deeper. “I have done so much for you, you still no blow. F**k outta here, hater oshi!” But one salient point that was missed yesterday was that the HKN boss also revealed that he got N100 million from the new Pepsi deal. “Just signed with Pepsi for a 100 million,” he wrote, adding, “Was gonna buy everyone new cars. SMH.” Was?? Is Davido cutting off his cousin already? The singer had in the past bought expensive gifts for his team, like the last time he gave them Rolex President wristwatches, each valuing at least $8,000. There are fears that he may drop B-Red from the HKN label. The rapper, sadly, is yet to make it to the spotlight, but fans strongly hope that the rift will be amicably resolved. President Muhammadu Buhari Wednesday in Beijing warned vandals and saboteurs blowing up oil and gas installations in Nigeria to desist immediately or face the same drastic action being taken against Boko Haram by the Armed Forces. Speaking at a meeting with members of the Nigerian Community in China, President Buhari also reaffirmed his total commitment to winning the war against corruption, saying that corruption was an arch-enemy of the nation which has destroyed the lives of many Nigerians. "I ask for your support to make our vision of stamping out corruption a reality in the shortest possible time. Whoever is caught will not be spared. The government is still being dared, but those who are sensible should have learnt a lesson. Those who are mad, let them continue in their madness. "I am aware that in the last two weeks, the national grid collapsed a number of times. I hope this message will reach the vandals and saboteurs who are blowing up pipelines and installations. We will deal with them the way we dealt with Boko Haram," the President declared. President Buhari assured the Nigerian Community that the Federal Government was working very hard to overcome current national challenges and deliver on its promise of a better Nigeria. "Clearly, our vision of a diversified and inclusive economy will not be achieved overnight. It will be a long, and in some cases, painful journey. I am very confident we will get there. But we must start that journey now. We hear proposals for short cuts or quick wins. However, all we need to do is look at our history to know that there are no quick wins or short cuts in fixing Nigeria. The many decades of damage and destruction cannot be repaired overnight. "The reform program we are implementing is not because oil prices are below $45 per barrel today. It is because when oil prices were over $100 per barrel, majority of Nigerians were still suffering. They were simply forgotten and left behind. So, our reforms are to ensure that the majority of Nigerians are not left behind," the President told the gathering. President Buhari also assured the Nigerian community that his administration was fulfilling its promise to improve security across the country. "When we came into office in 2015, Boko Haram insurgents occupied 14 Local Government Areas. Today, I am pleased to say the insurgents have been routed out of these local governments and their capacity to fight as a force has been significantly degraded. We will continue working hard to ensure that the group is eliminated. This is achievable. And we will not settle for anything less," he said.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Monday 11th April, 2016 arraigned one Adekunle Yakub Asuni before Justice. I.B. Gafai of the Federal High Court Awka, Anambra State on a four count charge for attempting to steal the sum of N7,000,000.00 (Seven million naira) by false pretence from the account of one Abdullahi Adamu. The offence contravenes the provisions of section 8 (b) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related Offences Act. 2006. The accused person pleaded not guilty on all counts of the charge preferred against him by the EFCC, while the prosecuting counsel Musa Gwani prayed the court to fix a trial date and remand the accused person in prison custody. But the defense counsel Kennedy Ikuka pleaded with the court to grant the accused person bail on the ground that the offence was a bailable one. One of the counts read: “That you Adekunle Yakub Asuni on the 4th of March, 2016 at Akwa within the jurisdiction of the Federal High Court of Nigeria attempted to induce Access Bank Plc to deliver/transfer the sum of N7,000.000.00 (Seven Million Naria) from account No, 0046119649 in the name of Abdullahi Adamu to account No, 0020220860 belonging to Salisu Abubakar on the pretext that you are Abdullahi Adamu, a claim you knew to be false and thereby committed an offence contrary to section 8(b) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related Offences Act, 2006 and punishable under section 1(3)of the same Act”. But before adjourning to May 25, 2016, Justice Gafai granted the accused bail in the following conditions: two sureties not below grade level 8 either in the employment of State or Federal government, must be resident in Awka, and both office and residential addresses dully verified by deputy court registrar. My attention has been drawn to the latest mischief from one of the All Progressives Congress (APC) propaganda organs, Sahara Reporters that the Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose and his immediate family members were barred from traveling to the United States of America(USA) and I wish to state that this is another lie from the pit of hell. Even though I am not unmindful of the fact that Sahara Reporters and its Jankara brand of journalism should not attract the attention of sane minds, I feel oblige to set the records straight. Governor Fayose has travelled to the US only twice in his life and since he became governor, he has not had any reason to apply for US visa since he became governor in 2014, not to talk of being restricted from traveling to the country. It is on record that during the governor's trial by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the court ordered that his international passport be deposited with the court. When the passport was released to him in 2009, he applied to the US embassy for the renewal of his visa and the embassy denied him of the renewal on the premise that he was still under trial. Governor Fayose won the EFCC case in 2014 and not only that he was discharged and acquitted, N10 million cost was awarded against the EFCC. The records in FRN Vs Mr. Ayodele Fayose, Charge. No. FHC,. L.. 179c, 2006 and the ruling discharging and acquiting the governor delivered on October 30, 2014 by Hon. Justice Adamu Hobon are there for anyone to see. Contrary to the lies from Sahara Reporters the governor's sons still have USA visa valid till March 2017 while that of his wife will expire this year. His wife and children travel to the USA regularly and they were in the USA during the last summer. Records of their trips to the US are there for anyone to verify. It is shameful that Sahara Reporters can elevate its 'Boolekaja journalism' to the ridiculous level of dropping the name of the US President Barack Obama with the governor's application for visa renewal of 2009 (seven years ago). It is even more shameful that Sahara Reporters opted to be silent over the fact that the election won by Governor Fayose was applauded by the US and the immediate past US ambassador to Nigeriavisited the governor before and after he was elected. This latest effort of Sahara Reporters is diversionary and just a ploy to get at the governor because of his criticism of the President Mohammadu Buhari led APC government, but the governor is undeterred. It is another of their cheap blackmail to divert the attention of Nigerians from the APC led government's inability to deliver on their electoral promises. It should be noted that the Jankara propaganda medium did more than this before the 2014 election and its sponsors lost woefully. It has also been lying against the governor consistently, going to the ridiculous level of lying that the governor's son was arrested in Dubai. Invasion of Ekiti State by the armed men of the Department of State Services (DSS) failed, police invasion also failed, this renewed effort at maligning Governor Fayose by Sahara Reporters, the APC's agent of falsehood is definitely dead on arrival. Lere Olayinka Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media Above are copies of letters to show that SaharaReporters lied and what they posted in 2014 about Ekiti election. The Department of State Security (DSS) has warned the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) over the kidnap of five Hausa-Fulani residents, whose bodies were later discovered at the Umuanyi forest in Abia State, where they were suspected to have been killed. In a statement released by Tony Opuiyo, DSS spokesperson, the security agency said: “The Service has uncovered the heinous role played by members of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), in the abduction/kidnap of five Hausa-Fulani residents, namely Mohammed GAINAKO, Ibrahim MOHAMMED, Idris YAKUBU, and Isa Mohammed RAGO at Isuikwuato LGA in Abia State.” “The abducted men were later discovered at the Umuanyi forest, Abia State, where they were suspected to have been killed by their abductors and buried in shallow graves, amidst fifty (50) other shallow graves of unidentified persons. Arrest and investigation conducted so far, revealed that elements within the IPOB, carried out this dastardly action.” “It is pertinent therefore to alert the general public that IPOB, is gradually showing its true divisive colour and objectives, while steadily embarking on gruesome actions in a bid to ignite ethnic terrorism and mistrust amongst non-indigenes in the South-East region and other parts of the country. Following this act, tension is currently rife among communal stakeholders in the State with possibilities of spillover to other parts of country.” “Against the foregoing, the Service will not hesitate to act decisively within its statutory mandate to ensure that the sponsors and perpetrators of this action are apprehended and prosecuted for their crime. Accordingly, law-abiding citizens are enjoined to go about their civil duties and businesses freely, as efforts are being intensified by security agencies to maintain law and order in the State and across the Federation.” Source: http://www.trezzyblog.com/2016/04/sss-warns-biafra-members-over-recent.htm

Minister of state for Petroleum, Dr Ibe Kachikwu, assured Nigerians last week that the lingering fuel crisis would be fully resolved by Thursday, April 7, and that fuel queues would disappear across the country. We went round town to observe the state of things and the pictures do not seem to agree with the minister’s postulations. Late Wednesday night however, Dr Kachikwu uploaded a video on his Facebook page in which he explained some of the steps taken by the management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) under his leadership to address some of the factors behind the recurring fuel crisis. Kachikwu described the fuel subsidy issue as one of the most challenging his leadership inherited as subsidy arrears of over N500billion had remained unpaid for about a year. The problem was partially solved with a presidential and legislative approval in November 2015 to pay a good portion of the subsidy debts but some of the marketers could not access foreign exchange. The NNPC boss also explained that a major cause of the supply gap was that although NNPC meets its allocation of crude, the individuals who should provide 40 per cent were not bringing in any product. NNPC has therefore had to transit from a 45 per cent provider of refined fuel to bearing responsibility for 80 to 100 per cent supply whereas the challenges with obtaining foreign exchange remained. Kachikwu stated that he has been able to convince some major international oil companies to provide foreign exchange to support fuel importation while pressure has also been applied on the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to provide more forex allocation to the NNPC. Explanations of the photos above(ordered as they appeared above).... 1.A very empty NNPC Mega-station on Bauchi junction, Jos. 2. ASCON Fuel station at Cement bus stop on Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway. 3. Cars waiting to buy fuel from Total filling station, opposite Abattior, along old Abeokuta road closed off one Lane and caused a hold up that stretched to Abule Egba. 4. Crowded NIPCO filling station at Bauchi Ring-Road, Jos where the product (PMS) is sold at 250 per litre 5. CONOIL Station close to Cement bus stop on Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway 6.
