Propaganda... SMH

When Jonathan , a son of the "south South" Removed this same subsidy in 2012,

The people spreading all this propaganda, supporting removal of subsidy today were the same people protesting against it then at Ojota with APc leadership...

They called Jonathan all sorts of names, carried a coffin for him.. Wole Soyinka, Tunde Bakare to name a few..

Today, because it's their own "son"
They're no where to be found..

I will not say I haven't witnessed evil in my days here..
Evil lives here.

Modified:
The south Westerner below me is justifying tribalism and Religious bigotry.. against national interest in 2012..

Nothing stops Atiku or Obi in mobilizing their supporters to bring this administration to it's knees.. Nothing..
But they and their supporters will not put personal interests against National interest..

That's the definition of Integrity and Patriotism

When an expert is on the wheel, no amount of speed will shake the passengers that boarded the vehicle, because their lives are safe. How can you compare Tinubu and Goodluck in handling administration. People cannot trust his maladmnistration and this was why people protested against the removal of subsidy during his time.
If Obi or Atiku mobilize anybody to protests, they will be disgraced because they all campaigned against the subsidy.

I support a meaningful dialog with the federal government to bring a succor to the pains of the Nigerians with a meaningful intervention.

Can you deny Obi didn't promise to remove fuel subsidy immediately after being sworn in if he should win?
Everything should not be politcised bro.
Obi: Petrol subsidy is organised crime — it would go immediately I become president
Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has described the petrol subsidy regime in Nigeria as “organised crime”.

Obi said this on Sunday during a town hall meeting organised by Channels Television.

Nigeria spent a total of N6.210 trillion on petrol subsidy, also called under-recovery shortfall, between 2013 to 2021.

Last year, the federal government announced that it will stop spending on subsidy from June 2023.

The LP presidential candidate said if he is elected into office, the payments will stop immediately.

“They have removed it. That is what they’ve done. But I can assure you, it will go immediately. Subsidy, I have said it before is organised crime and I will not allow it to stay a day longer,” Obi said.

“What they are telling you is not what it is. Half of what is being mentioned is not subsidy. First is that we consume the quantity that is not supposed to be consumed here.

“We are the same population as Pakistan. They consume below 50 percent of what we consume.

“So, the first half, I will remove it so we can save the money.”

The LP candidate, who flayed the country’s public debt stock, added that the money spent on petrol subsidy should be channelled into social development.

“Look at this year’s budget. Education, which is the highest since this government came, is about N2 trillion. Health, which is the highest since this government came, is about N1.5 trillion. Then infrastructure, which is roads and everything, is about N1 trillion,” he said.

“These three critical development areas are receiving N4.5 trillion. Subsidy is N3.6 trillion half year. So, if it’s a full year, it is about N7 trillion. Which country will invest more in subsidy than education and health and even roads? It doesn’t make sense.”

Racoon:
I totally disagree with the leadership of the LP on this condemnation issue. Fuel subsidy is an unnecessary evil perpetuated by the demons in the APC for 8 years after calling it a fraud without having a zilch about its intricacies.

Now if the same APC is cornered to dispose of it on accountxof the associated economic implications, then so be it. After all, that is what a Peter Obi regime also planned to do.
THIS WAS WHAT OBI SAID ON SUBSIDY, WHY ARE THE NOW SPEAKING WITH BOTH MOUTH

PoliticsRe: Tinubu’s Inauguration: Peter Obi Sends Message To Obidients, Others by jonnex: 7:24am On May 29, 2023
humilitypays:
If Tinubu is truly God's will for Nigeria and he didn't foist himself on Nigeria through Buhari and INEC, I wish him a blissful, prosperous regime. But if Tinubu stole someone else's mandate, I pray divinity give him and his group/supporters a taste of the injustice and criminality they gave to his opponents.

Meanwhile, I don't see much coming out of Tinubu's regime, in fact, Tinubu will be worst than Buhari for the reasons below:

Tinubu is the only crop of 1999 Governors that is still in total control of the state he governed since 1999. Tinubu confiscated Lagos state and her treasury and turned it to his personal purse, he will unknowingly want to replicate the looting and reckless stealing he does in Lagos since 1999 in Nigeria.

Remember, it is Lagos state treasury that Tinubu confiscated since 1999, which was being looted dry to fund Tinubu's 2023 Presidential ambition by installing Buhari a failure to pave way for him Tinubu, so such huge investment must yield maximum return for Tinubu and his Lagos boys.

Secondly, Bola Tinubu is a one party politician who doesn't believe in opposition just as he murdered opposition in Lagos state since 1999, he would definitely murder opposition in Nigeria using all government institutions.

Tinubu will destroy every inch of progress made with electoral laws that makes Nigeria's election better, he would single handedly be selecting Governors, Senators, Reps, etc for the 36 states from Aso Rock, so if you want to become a Governor in your state, just go and lobby Tinubu through his son Seyi or his wife Remi or his Lagos gang members.

Tinubu's health is in very bad shape and for this, he will be shuttling between Nigeria and France and London for medical trips, so expect more "Presidency said" speeches and statements soon.

Because of Bola Tinubu's frail health, his Aides and his Lagos gang members will plunder Nigeria through so many means like people killing taxes, levies, etc.

Tinubu of today is a full time tribalist more than Buhari, so expect more tribalism, nepotism and mypeople mypeople and the haters kind of government which will reflect in his appointments and response to National issues by state and region.

Tinubu will never make any policy that aims at prospering all regions of Nigeria, all thanks to his sycophantic supporters who are deadliest tribal bigots who eat, breath and drink tribalism especially against Igbos.

Tinubu rode on the belief that he is larger than Nigerians and in fact anybody in Nigeria, and will definitely not be loyal to the Nigerian people. Tinubu will never respect Nigerian media, he will never respect the court, he will never respect any Nigerian institution that has a contrary opinion to his own. Tinubu's supporters will further worsen things for Tinubu by defending every of his soon to start evil with the excuse that Buhari did worst and Nigerians did nothing.

There will be too many Presidents under Tinubu from his 6th month in office.

Samsung phones are indeed expensive. To keep your phone, you may use a Galaxy wood case. It is made of wood. Wooden cases are known to all for their fantastic durability and smooth texture. It is also environmentally friendly. Wooden cases also don't tend to trap the heat inside like other phone cases.

Tripleoluwa:
Hi people, I presented myself for accreditation at the Agunbiade population office in Somolu local council today 26-042023, for the position of supervisor that I applied for in the coming population census.

I had barely sat down before the man sitting at the desk said my name was not on the computer list. I was shocked because I had been approved online and my bank account had been submitted. He requested for my surname as he punched the keyboard. Seconds later, he said my surname is not on thier list. I knew right there that he was lying because my immediate sister successfully did her accreditation on Monday. So how come my surname no dey there?...

In a nutshell, I think the process has been politicised or compromised. There's a seeming attempt to expunge people's names in place of others. Because I see no reason why they refused to paste the list for everyone to check.
Some miscreants are bent to bastardized the exercise, even some of those that went for 10 days training as facilitators names were removed and substitute with names that didn't attend at all, now tell me how they will not frustrate the whole issues. People are only interested in the money they wanted to collect not minding the effectiveness of the exercise, and this year census is not like the previous ones, if you are not in the training, you won't be able to cope. But Nigerians, the way of doing things call for sober reflection.

The problem of this country is corruption that has eaten into the fabric parts of the system. They will train 200 for example, they will shortlist it to 100 at the end of the exercise and later substitute it with 100 that have not participated at all in the training, that is why you see all these blunders. Something of this nature will still happen in the forthcoming NPC. It is unfortunate.
