The commercial city of Kano in North Western Nigeria was engulfed in a riot. As the city convulsed and simmered, Rev. Simon H. Ibrahim decided to take refuge in his office. Then he was the secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Kano. But he was a marked man.

Fatwa
He was born and raised a Muslim in the same state. He was even known in the city as an Islamic scholar before he converted to Christianity. That was when his problem started. Members of his family denounced him and his former Muslim friends and colleagues began treating him like a pariah. For daring to switch to another religious faith, a fatwa (death sentence) was slammed on him.

When a religious crisis convulsed the city, a handful of fundamentalists were hot on his trail. They stormed his office and dragged him out by the scruff of his pastor’s collar to the back of his office. After beating him unconscious, his assailants crudely cut off his testicles with a sharp dagger and plucked out his right eye. They went away triumphantly with these vital body parts as a trophy and he was left to bleed to death.

Help later came to the 56-year-old Anglican Pastor. Still dazed by the harrowing experience, he was taken to a hospital in Kano by some good Samaritans. After months in the hospital, he was discharged. For security reasons, the church, Sunday Sun learnt, “spirited” him out of the city and eventually out of the country. For the past 19 years he had been out of Nigeria until his brief return this week.

Safe at last
Now a missionary in far away Mali and under the protective wings of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), Rev Simon is safe at last. He only flew into Lagos to witness the handing over of keys to an apartment and car to Mrs Veronica George Orji, the wife of another pastor slain by Boko Haram in Maiduguri last July.

Not broken by the ugly incident, which took place in 1991 when renowned German televangelist Reinhard Bonnke visited the city, he told Sunday Sun: “I remember the grim details all the time but as a Christian, I forgive them.”
Pressed for further comments, he said: “I don’t call what happened to me a castration. I call it God’s own appointed time. I had had children before that time. I have six of them and I’m contented with that number. My attackers didn’t win. I’m alive, hale and hearty

“In fact, very little has changed. I’m still a thorn in their flesh. As I told you, I was an Islamic scholar before I converted to Christianity. I have their records. That is why they are afraid of me.
“Anyway, I’m under the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR). We are not allowed to talk the way I’m talking to you now.”

Deep concern for his safety and security perhaps precludes him from disclosing where his wife and children are. All he could say about his family was: “They are somewhere. You know, with the way things are, it is not right for me tell you every detail. That may create a security problem.”

Defiant
At the quiet ceremony in Gbagada, Lagos, which attracted the president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, Rev Simon radiated good health and defiance.
Praying for all martyrs, widows and orphans of the numerous religious crises in the country, he said: “God will in His infinite power and wisdom touch the hearts hardened by hatred and protect helpless widows and children made fatherless.”

Before heading for the airport to return to his base, the cleric spent quality time with Mrs Orji’s little daughter, Esther. She was born six months after her father’s death. The resettlement of Pastor Orji’s wife was spearheaded by an NGO, Macedonia Initiative. Its international coordinator, Pastor Ladi Thompson, told Sunday Sun: “The gesture is only a model of other great things we plan to do for the martyr.”

Notable clerics, who also helped, included Bishop Mike Okonkwo, Pastor Yomi Kasali and Pastor Femi Paul of Grace Assembly.

I currently live in Los Angeles Ca, and work as a CNA , the cost of living here is killing me, I mean one bedroom apartment and its Bill can range from 900 to -1200 USD,I have been reading much about Houston Texas from Citydata and just confirmed that Houston is very cheap though the jobs there don't pay like jobs in CA but I don't mind the difference is not that much, the only thing that worry me is the Weather in Houston which is said to be very Hot, not withstanding I was told that most Nigerians in the US live in Houston therefore I decide to ask my brothers and sisters that know better than I do to tell me the different between this two cities and why you will live in any of them, and let me know any other city in the states where one can confortably live with low cost of living.

SENATE CONFIRMS AKUNYILI,OTHERS

Senate today confirmed the nomination of former Minister of Information and Communication, Prof. Dora Akunyili as a minister.



Akunyili‘s screening on Monday caused uproar on the floor of the Senate when a senator from Kastina State, Kanti Bello,aggressively accused her of exhibiting divisive tendencies shortly before the return of President Umaru Yar‘Adua from Saudi Arabia.



Bello‘s outburst divided the Senate into pro and anti-Akunyili, hence the uproar.



The uproar did not abate while Akunyili was answering the questions until the situation was saved by the Senate President, David Mark, who asked Akunyili to take a bow.



Since then, there had been speculations that Akunyili might not scale the screening excersise.However, the Senate this afternoon confirmed her nomination but that was not without few voices of dissent, as few members said ‘Nay‘ during a voice vote.



The Senate, through a voice vote, confirmed the nomination of all the 38 people it had (including Akunyili) so far screened.

Now Solomon was the greatest and the most successful King that ever lived and you  ask why  because the bible recorded that Mineral Resources such as Silver was as 
common as ordinary stones in the house of King Solomon.

Now before the father of Solomon died he gave him an advice, lets look at  that

David's Charge to Solomon
1 When the time drew near for David to die, he gave a charge to Solomon his son.
2 "I am about to go the way of all the earth," he said. "So be strong, show
yourself a man, 3 and observe what the LORD your God requires: Walk in his ways,
and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and requirements, as written in the
Law of Moses, so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go,

If you look at the verse closely you will see that David charged his son Solomon  to observe what the Lord requires, Walk in his ways, and keep his decrees and 
commands but that verse did not list one other thing which is sacrifice, I call  it (Sacrifice Based Faith), David must have instructed his Son to practice this kind 
of Sacrifice Based Faith because David did it while there was economic crisis otherwise  known in the Bible as plaque in the land of Israel, lets look at that in

2 Samuel 24:24-25 (King James Version)

24 And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which
doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.

25 And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the LORD was entreated for the land, and the plague was
stayed from Israel.

If you read that 1 Samuel 24 Araunah wanted to offer his King the Sacrifice substance called the  threshingfloor for free, but David said I can not offer unto God something that  cost me nothing and thus he bought it with money, and in verse 25 you see that after the sacrifice the Economic  Crisis come to and end ( the plague was  stayed from Isreal ) and God restored  prosperity to Israel David did not Pray or Fast but he sacrificed something that  cost him money , so Sacrifice can on unblock curses or plaque or devourers that stops one from being prosperous, because curses realy does exist , if you your grand father or great grand fathers was an Idle worshiper then you break some curses because this is real and my bible confirmed it .

5Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

It's understandable that the Westerners I mean people of Western World enjoy prosperity more than African because Mejority of their great Grand Fathers does not engage in Idle worship like Africans.

Note that word devourer represent curse or any things that stand hindrance to you.

Now having giving his son  Solomon the Idea of Sacrifice to provoke God blessings (prosperity) the Bible recorded that the young King offered thousand of 
Sacrifice to God in Gibeon.

1 Kings 3:4 (King James Version)

4 And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high 
place: <a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar>.

Remember Solomon did not pray or fast (am not saying fasting and prayer is not  powerful but it does not command prosperity period , I used prayer for other 
vital things that sacrifice alone can not do for me) now he offered unto God  thousand Sacrifice, that's in excess and see what Happen, God did not allow 
Solomon to get home, the almighty was moved by the Sacrifice and appeared unto Solomon that same night .

1 Kings 3:5 (King James Version)

In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask
what I shall give thee.

(Because you have done this what do you want to be in life said God, what do you want me to do for you Solomon)

9 Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I
may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a
people?

Solomon ask for Wisdom but not knowing that he just paid a price for  prosperity ,  lets see what happened next.


1 Kings 3:12-13 (King James Version)

12 Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and
an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither
after thee shall any arise like unto thee.

13 (And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and
honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy
days).


So this is  how Solomon provokes God to be the greatest King that ever lived and that will ever live <neither
after thee shall any arise like unto thee>


Not only Solomon the bible record this in

Genesis 26:12-14 (King James Version)

12Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold:
and the LORD blessed him.

13And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very
great:

14For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of
servants: and the Philistines envied him.

Isaac an ordinary man like anybody else just showed a seed of Faith and begin to  wax strong, until he becomes very rich, so you see this is a confirmed 
Sacrificed based Faith ( why do I add it faith , because it takes faith to sow a  seed  especially in excess believing God to bless you in hundred fold , in fact many still find it difficult to pay ordinary tithe of just 10%)

Now someone who will read this might want to be like Solomon or Isaac, but such  person must make sure he understand the rules that applied to Kingdom prosperity, 
one of such rules is  to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his  commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies. 1 Kings 2:3.


Another one is Love the Lord Jesus, 1 Kings 3:3 And Solomon loved the LORD , David his father also loved the Lord and was the greatest Hero in Israel 
who also enjoyed diverse prosperity and the author of the book of Psalms
Psalm 119:97 (King James Version)
O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day,

David loved God and show  his love by meditating in his word everyday, it's said faith without action is  dead, the same way Love without action is dead, you can not love someone and refuse  to visit that person, so prove your love to God by meditating on his Word and be committed to his services working on his status.

Another things is that God does not accept all kinds of Sacrifice, you can't bring  to God that which was cursed no way, neither will God accept sacrifice that it's 
source was not legitimate, this is spiritual emphasis, many people remain wretched  while praising giving because the source of their sacrifice was not pure or they do not first give their life to Christ .

Malachi 3:3-4
, Then the LORD will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness, 4 and the offerings of Judah and Jerusalem will be acceptable to the LORD, as in former years.

That verse indicate that the Lord only receive offering made in righteousness.

Another thing is to know that you are not supporting God or the Church with your  sacrifice, Apostle Paul  talked about our heavily account, when you give it's received 
here on earth by mortal men but God receives it heaven and place it on your heavily account,  and God release his blessing after all, and that is called reaping time.

Now lets look at people of our Generation that have practiced Sacrificed based faith.

Now lets look at a people  like Bishop David Oyedepo, we have thousands and one church that have not grown since it's foundation, why ? because of their level of commitment, but no matter what people say it takes Spiritual Empowerment and Gods intervention for a any thing born of a woman to control a congregation of more than 50,000 People, a multi Billion Organization like Winners Chapel , having build two universities  just like Enoch Adeboye Redeem Christian Church of God just to mention but few , believe in common truth, this is clean and pure wealth that has no sleepless night attached to it, Dangote and Mike Adenuga can not enjoy this kind of peace enjoyed by this few individuals, those heavy business men’s you see have skeleton on there cupboard which they believe is protecting them and protecting their wealth, and once that is there you can’t have peace, remember with all that money the are still a human being like you.

One of the mentors of David Oyedepo is called Kenneth E Hagen now late , but he is the Founder of REMA bible church in the United States one of the bigest in Tulsa Oklahoma and REMA bible institute www.rhema.org, or Oral Roberts  another pillar or faith and founder of Oral Roberts Universities www.oru.edu , listing this individuals don't just give a million dollar as sacrifice, some of them have Charity Organization that gulp them Millions, some of them give containers of foods to the less privileged, if you know the amount of money sowed as a seed of Faith by Bishop Oyedepo this year alone you will cry, its multi millions, but people
are there deceiving themselves that this people fly private jets, Oydepo's books sold 300 million copies in Nigeria alone, this is an author of more than 60 books , where will the Wisdom to write over 60 different book that sold more than 300 million copies come from if not from the Alter of Sacrifice just as God gave Solomon divine Wisdom . The money he generate from this books are not Church offering, that is a private investment in books.

So this are few individuals , while we have thousand of others who have followed the steps of King David , and remember the bible said this in Hebrews

So follow the steps of this people and you will understand how they are made, and the last bible verse said the have patient, it takes time, it's a gradual process, if you need understanding on patient let me know.

It happens to me, you have only one car when you met her, my own is that I have two cars and travel to europe and my boy get accident with one of my car , and i have  to replace it with a new car for our traditional marriage, after the marriage I travel to the United States and sold the car, and I started from square one, then I was thinking like you until recently something change my attitude toward my wife, the bible, the word of God, constant meditation in the word of God reveal to me in Ecclesiastes 10: 7 I have seen slaves on horseback, while princes go on foot like slaves,  NOTE this, every great destiny command Satans attention, that Woman that come into your life is  a  great woman but system want to use that tactics to rub you off that blessing ,  your spirit is working together with her, the two of you have something in common and believe me I have sent my wife packing many times and call her back because I always felt I can't do without her, no body has bad luck, God is no respecter of man he made everybody equal, once Satan remembers you if you are not strong in the Lord you become a bad luck, now take your destiny by force, go to the word, you need a light that will overshadow all this darkness,Psalm 119:130 (King James Version)

Understanding the Covenant Practice.

Deuteronomy 29:29

The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are  revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the  words of this law

We are bound to do all the words of the law of God, to see Gods covenants at  works in our lifes, and the revelations of  deepest secret things of the lords  will be reveal to us  on daily basis as we practice the words of the laws of God.

I'm talking about understanding Kingdom prosperity as you practice the  words  of the law, many Christians today think money is evil, or that God regard  money as an evil, no money is not the evil, but the love of money is evil,  money comes because God understand that we need money, the cloth we use is  bought with me, the food we eat we bought with money, our life need money, the  bible said in  Matthew 6:32
(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek for your heavenly Father 
knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

God knows we need money to live a good life, and God have always been a  provider of material things to them that diligently seek him, Phil 4:19. For after all these things do the Gentiles seek, 
the people of the world called the gentiles loved money and fall into divers  temptation ,God knows lot's about money than we do, Ecclesiastes 10:19 A feast is made for  laughter, and wine makes merry: but money answers all things. .

God is  committed to providing you all this material things as long as you can forget  them in you heart and focus on his world, money is material things and is of  the world and the bible said in 1 John 2:15-16
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man  love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the  eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

As a kingdom practitioner you need to free your self from the love of the  things of this world by understanding that after all  ,this things will come  your way without much struggles because your heavenly father who also provide  for the birds will surely bless you with all this things knowing that you need  them, the word of God in  Deuteronomy 20:14 said But thou shalt remember the  LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may  establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

Now how can you remember the Lord when you are busy thinking about how you  can make millions, buy houses?,  you have to hold on to internal life and  don't give it up, for its this practice that produces all the blessings of  God, not your power or might, or your being strong or hard working, if that is what it takes i believe many people that are still living in abject poverty and lack today supposed to be ridding in horses, no but it's the blessing of God that makes rich without adding sorrow to it,  this is how it works if you are interested in God's type of blessing which give pure peace of mind .


When you are committed to the things of God then God is committed to  blessing you,  you can not be a double minded man and progress James 1:8, you  can not be thinking about God and at the same time money, the bible made it  clear that one can not serve two masters , it's Either you  will hate the one  and love the other Mathew 6:24.

It's vital to understand that Jesus does not come for us to endure life   he come for us to  enjoy life John 10:10 ,  I have come that they may have  life, and have it to the full.

Many believers are enduring life not enjoying life, many  believers endure life  because they  do not have what it takes to enjoy life, until you begin to enjoy  life you have no commanding powers, you need to be more close to God do what  it takes to enjoy life, Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace:  thereby good shall come unto thee Job 22:21 , Acquaint now thyself with him means  submit to God and be at peace with him , come closer to him, have him in your  mind all time and meditate on his word steadily so that prosperity will come  to you.


Be a giving kingdom practitioner .

Why do I called you a practitioner?, because Paul said to timothy his son in Christ  , lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast  professed a good profession, , so its a profession to be Kingdoms minded,  because its what you practice everyday of your life.

Now it takes spiritual empowerment to give in lack, so many people who enjoy  kingdom prosperity today are addicted givers, they give, and give until they  give poverty  out of their life, believe this its takes spiritual empowerment to sow  financial seed while in poverty but addicted givers don't even know when they give, I remember  each time I went to eat at  MacDonald I will be searching for their small Mac 
Donald charity box to donate to the children, I mean this happens every time I  went to MacDonald’s and that is one thing that draw my attention to go  there.

How to get energized for financial prosperity.

Hebrews 6:13-15

For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater,  he sware by himself, Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply  thee.

And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.


When you have done your own part then you need endurance like Abraham to  obtain the promise, so many of people  today have in time past tried to know God,  or try to be addicted to his world but lack endurance, Romans 4:20 said He  staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith,  giving glory to God,, many people see faith as just believe and its done, no  faith is believing it all the time which is not easy unless you are empowered  by the holy spirit, faith is a contest, Jude 1:3, Paul wrote to Timothy his son  in Christ and said Fight the good Fight of Fight, why is it a fight because the enemy  Satan will seduce your mind with different reason why what you believe will  not come to pass, he will use physical examples and spiritual tactics to subdue  you to give up your faith, before I used to hear people  saying Satan is a liar , I take it for a mere word, but as a spiritual minded man  today I now see it clearly that Satan is the greatest liar  in the world, I  remember accusing my close relative and friends of what they know nothing  about and Satan will influence my mind then in believing that it was so, but  when I  Acquaint myself with God I start receiving   clear  physical and 
spiritual revelation that most all this things are satanic tactic to seduce  my mind, that's why the Word of God said in Proverbs 4:23
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life , and Proverbs 23:7  said For as man  thinketh in his heart, so is he, you need to guide what you think, understanding when Satan is trying to influence your mind with lies is very impornat, failure to do so you will then see your enemies  and call them your lovers and when you see people who truly love you and  want your well being you call them enemies because Satan does not want anything good to come your way, and that is why it's a fight, you need to understand the language or your mind so that you can grab opportunity when it comes if not you will see opportunity and have reasons to let it go, but this verse of the bible can help us remain steadfast, in the book of  Hebrews 10:23  the word of God said Let us hold fast the profession of our 
faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised.  God is faithful  not to fail his promises, its vital and important to see growth in our  relationship with God instead of wavering at the confession of our mouth, like  we used to say in Jesus name I'm free from this sickness and after that you  begin to think of how to see a doctor concerning the same sickness, that is  wavering at the confession of your own  mouth, now the same book of Hebrews  10:35:36 said

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of  reward.
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye  might receive the promise.

Imagine you have been working with God for more than one year  (just to mention a few)  and  you just decide to give up one day because you are not seeing enough sign, to  whoever will read this if this thing happens to you then consider your self  the greatest looser of all time, that's why you need patience, endurance ,  believing that God who has promised can never fail, now understand that 
Apostle Paul the author of both Romans and Hebrews that is teaching us about  Abraham's faith have gone through lot's of things and he wrote this not only  through the inspiration of the holy spirit but also out of experience, so it's  vital to follow the steps of those who have been in this journey before us.

Now when you give you  are committing  God to respond rapidly to your financial stress, when Solomon give thousand of sacrifice unlike any of King in the history of Israel God was committed to respond immediately   and God ask Solomon what he need in life 1 Kings 1:4-5, Solomon just request one little thing wisdom instead of wealth, but God said I will give you what you request but you will also receive according to the promises , and Solomon become the richest King of all time, for Gold and Silver was  common like a an ordinary stone during his rains in Jerusalem.

God have promise that givers never lack, blessed is the hand that gives than the ones that takes, this are the promises of God and they are covenants, agreements that can never be broken because he that promise is faithful .The covenant made by God to Abraham is an agreement by an oat God made  to himself because he can not swear by no greater, so God is bound to keep all  his promises.

Bishop David Oyedepo said  he prayed and ask God what he need to have kingdom  prosperity, and God answered and said prosperity in the Kingdom does not answer  to fasting, it does not answer to prayers , God said to him my prosperity plan is a covenant, until your part is completed I'm not part of it. If you don't plant any seed in your  field it will be  equal to insanity  going to the field for harvest.


That's why many prayer warriors are properly poor, because there are many  prayers warriors who  are not giver warriors and there are many giver warriors who are not spiritual warriors, you need power to excel, power also play its part in your kingdom prosperity   because the word of God does not work in Isolation, Acts 1:8

Heavens are still open , but only covenant practitioners can experience open  heaven, every kingdom practitioner need endurance, endurance is not also easy, you need spiritual empowerment to endure, because when you begin as a new Kingdom Practitioner people will mock you because as canal minded people they can not see the blessings ahead and will refer  you as failure, but God does not send rain until the cloud is full Ecclesiastes 11:3, The word of God said in Habakkuk 2:3  the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry, what am saying is that you need endurance as a Kingdom Practitioner , don't give up for he who has promised is too faithful to fail, Abraham never give up, closed to thirty years he was still waiting for Issac to come even when Sarah was overaged .


Abraham was the first recorded tither in the bible, Genesis 14;20 , he gave tithe on behalf of the whole armies of Israel, that is  what we call cooperate tithe today, history has it that J.C Penny was tither and was thought to tithe by his mother, today the JC Penny I know as it's closer to my working place is one of the biggest Departmental Stores in the United States, I read that J.C Penny died long ago but his light in the company he establish still shine till today,

Sect leader vows revenge

Leader of the radical Islamic sect opposed to western education, Ustaz Mohammed Yusuf, yesterday told Daily Trust that his group would not take kindly to the killing of dozens of its supporters in Bauchi.

Yusuf, who spoke to our reporter by telephone on the clashes between his supporters and the police in Bauchi, said his men were ready to die to ensure the institution of a strict Islamic society.

Last week nine suspected followers of Yusuf were arrested in Biu, Borno State, carrying bombs. Also on Saturday, a prominent member of the sect died in an explosion at his home while fixing a bomb for use on a target.

Yusuf confirmed to our reporter that those were his men. “I received information that my followers were attacked in different locations at Biu. Initially I thought it was an attempt by the authorities to justify their plan to arrest me but I later gathered reliably that our brothers were doing what Allah said, arm yourself to defend yourself and your religion in the face of an attack and an attack was eminent. This was what Malam Hassan (bomb victim) was doing when he became a martyr.

“What I said previously that we are going to be attacked by the authorities has manifested itself in Bauchi, where about 40 of our brothers were killed, their Mosque and homes burnt down completely and several others were injured and about a hundred are presently in detention. Therefore, we will not agree with this kind of humiliation, we are ready to die together with our brothers and we would never concede to non-belief in Allah,” he said.

Asked why he would not surrender to the authorities given the number of deaths on the side of his group, Yusuf said, “I will not give myself up, if Allah wishes, they will arrest me, if Allah does not wish, they will never arrest me. But I will never give up myself, not after 37 of my followers are killed in Bauchi. Is it right to kill them, is it right to shoot human beings? To surrender myself means what they did is right. Therefore, we are ready to fight to die.”

He added: “The end of this crisis is, Kafirci and the kind of harassment my people are facing must stop. Democracy and the current system of education must be changed otherwise this war that is yet to start would continue for long.”

Reminded that even during the time of the Prophet of Islam, Muslims and non-Muslims co-existed peacefully, he said, “Kafirci was never imposed on the Prophet, he came and met it and gradually turned it into an Islamic state but our land was an Islamic state (Borno) before the colonial masters turned it to a kafir land. The current system is contrary to true Islamic beliefs.”

He added: “When they shot 18, they promised to do more and now you have over 70 that have received gunshots both dead and alive. Therefore, if we give ourselves up or they get us or me sure, they will kill me. We will not hear anyone.  It is not with our strength that we will confront the authorities but with the help of Allah.

“What I want to tell the general public especially Muslims is, turn to Allah, pray and remain patient. Everyone must worship Him, this is the promise the Prophet undertook on our behalf before coming to this earth. We don’t have

The Confidence we Have in Prayer

Expectation is the pregnancy for supernatural manifestation, and faith is the
substance of things hoped for and evidence for things not seen, Hebrews 11:1.


So faith gives substance to hope, and hope is the wife of faith , so as faith
give substance to hope they deliver a miracle.

As the fishes never get droned in water, the same way you are born to win all
challenges of life, for a fish to dwell in the sea all the long without being
droned is a challenge, and for you to live without being overcome by the devil
is a challenge, but because you are born to win as the fish is born to swim you
can face tomorrow without struggling for the bible said whatever is born of God
overcomet the World 1 John 5:4.

You never see a fish towing another fish in the sea, so therefore your personal
faith is the only way to your personal victory, your pastor or bishop can not
guarantee your victory without your own faith, you can only be victorious by your private
and personal faith in God Habakkuk 2:4, therefore there is no need of running
after Pastors and Bishops for prayer if you don't have confidence within your
self by confessing Jesus as your Lord and Personal savior and believing God for
who he is with obedience to his words Hebrews 11:6.

Your Confidence through Prayer life Schedule.

Acts 3:1
Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being
the ninth hour.

It's impossible to match prayer champion without a prayer schedule, a student
without a study schedule will never be able to deliver his best.
A believer that pray only when he feel like will not need an enemy to fail, if
you must be a victorious believer then you must have a prayer schedule or simply
pray constantly on different occasion and on several things Ephesians 6:18.

Peter and John pray every 9 pm daily , and as the teacher come to the
school at the hours when the students are scheduled to gather the same way God
comes to listing to Peter and John every ninth hour because the have a schedule
with God and God always makes himself available to them for taking his business
serious, acts 3:3-7, King David pray three times daily, even thou he does not
have specific time but makes sure he pray Morning Afternoon and Evening Psalms
55:17.

Sometimes your business or work may not give you specific time to pray but make it
mandatory that you pray to God constantly, the bible said that men always ought
to pray and not lose heart Luke 18:1


Prayer prepares you against the day of battle , it enhance your performance so that you don't fail when Satan strike.
The Apostle Paul said we face spiritual battles almost everyday, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers of darkness in high places, if you don't enhance your prayer performance then your strength will be small Proverbs 24:10.

Our destiny is being contested spiritually everyday by the devil, your destiny
can be secured by prayer , have you ask your self why you fail in so many things
you have tried in life, you are not made to loose any battle but Satan have made
it mandeltory that you loose, you can only reclaim all that Satan have stolen
from you through prayer, all the opportunity you have lost in your life can be
repossessed through prayer, every sudden success in a life of a Christian have
something to do with his or her prayer life.


A soccer player need training to remain active and vibrant, without constant
training a soccer player can hardly succeed in his carrier as a footballer,
the same way any man who does not pray constantly can not stand the wiles of the
devil.

Brethren Remain a constant prayer.
