There is a fundamental problem with the average Nigerian, once you PDP (new word for "share the money " wink

)to their side they will abet in stealing from Govt purse and wipe their conscience with excuses such as "Na our money or Na our turn to chop after all politicians dey thief or Na our oyel".

And tomorrow they'll cry corruption is killing us. Hypocrites! Bloody Hypocrites.

If money is not missing at the federal government level, then it's missing at the state level and if by chance it's not missing at that level then certainly at the local government level or community level or somebody is mismanaging it in one government functionary.

All Govt owned utilities suffer the same thing. This is man's injustice to man and when you choose to toe the line of integrity you're labeled with the title, "Holy pass".

Tomorrow when those involved in this crime start to face the music, they'll start crying before Nigerians to gain sympathy or blame it on the devil.

@Op please be informed, the protest was in response to the siege some igbos in diaspora laid on the business of a Yoruba cardiologist in Dallas, Texas. Try re-reading the post on that thread again.

Although, what the Doctor did by supporting the Oba's statement was entirely wrong, the corresponding action by the Igbos in diaspora was also wrong.

Don't forget the Igbos in Nigeria condemned the words of Oba Akiolu and many well meaning Nigerians also joined them, heck some Yorubas didn't even support the Oba in his choice of words. The Igbos even threatened to report the Oba to the international criminal court for the statement, but it was understandable that they were angry. Taking it to diaspora to lay siege on the business of another Yoruba son was going too far if you ask me.

Both tribes must stop trying to be superior to the other because they've both made very striking achievements in different field to the extent I wish my tribe had recorded the successes that they both have (although, I'm still proud of some of my tribesmen who have made outstanding achievements despite our small size)

If the Igbos want out of Nigeria, why not come out openly about it. Perhaps make their position known to the presidency and also get our local newspapers to carry the stories of their struggle. Spreading hate and wanting to toe the violent line will be ultimately disastrous. Any region who wants to leave must do so peacefully.

Well that is not a sufficient excuse in my view to shut him out (if indeed he was).

PMB needs to trust his Vice for them to work effectively together. There should be no room for undue suspicion amongst the duo.

In addition, they've to really work on how to prevent sensitive information such as this from the public. Just imagine how it has been blown out of proportion.

well I was reading with keen interest, until I came to the part where he mentioned the construction of a gas pipeline from bonny in Rivers state to Lagos state which is an incredibly long distance. Such project cannot be completed within four(4) years.

The power crises in Lagos state and indeed Nigeria is one requiring an emergency response whilst waiting for a permanent fix.

Nevertheless, it's still a good initiative.

Dogara decided to tilt in the direction of his party after emerging as speaker cause himself and his clique saw the damage that had been done in the upper chamber where a position meant for an APC member ended up in the hand of the opposition. Moreso, it would have been absolutely unforgivable to lose two positions meant for your party members to the opposition. I think guilty conscience was what happened to him and his cronies.

As for begging Gbaja to accept the deputy speakership position, I would say he declined out of ego and the feeling of being robbed by his own party member.

Dogara has alot of pacifying to do. Because all I see here is a Gbaja thinking to himself saying, "after being loyal to my party for so long, when it became my turn to reap the reward of my loyalty, you decided to be disloyal to the party, stealing my mandate in the process". If Gbaja feels hurt, it is understandable.
